"We spent two-weeks in this clean, modern condo. Highlights include newer kitchen appliances that are in good working order, plenty of hot water for an unrushed shower, and a washer and dryer so you can do your own laundry. Other very positive features of the condo include its close proximity to the center of town and a propane stove that enables guests to take off the early morning chill. It would be a pleasure for my wife and me to stay at this property again in the future!"

"We spent five weeks here and found the house to be very comfortable and ideally located. The house is an easy and nearly level (nothing is truly level in San Miguel) walk to all the important sites and venues. It is located on a quiet block but there are many good restaurants near by. It is hard to imagine a more convenient location. The kitchen is well equipped and includes a full size refrigerator, six burner cooktop, oven, and a dishwasher (which is a rarity in San Miguel). We had friends visit for one week and the fact that one bedroom is downstairs and the second one is upstairs and each has a private bath, gave us both privacy. The beds are comfortable and there is ample closet space. The wifi is very fast. There is a large flat screen TV in the living room and the cable includes many US channels in English. There are several outdoor areas upstairs and downstairs to enjoy the comfortable San Miguel weather. A maid comes three times a week and keeps everything clean and organized. She is very friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

"My wife and grown children stayed here for 2 weeks. We have used VRBO for something like 20 years now and this rental property rates at the top for beauty and value. Everything about the interior is just great. The owner has done a fabulous job with great artwork and my wife and I enjoyed it every day. There are many things to do in San Miguel. This house is located on a hill as is most of the town and so at 6500 ft elevation make sure you take a few days to adjust to the altitude. Up the street is a neighborhood called the Balconies. Great exercise and a beautiful walk. All taxis are 40 pesos anywhere in town. 50 pesos if you call them. So cheap and everyone is so nice wherever you go The botanical gardens are a 20 min walk up the hill and make sure to eat breakfast there one day if you can. Tuesday is the market, (Tianguis market). If you really want to see the locals and how they live, This is the place. Great place to buy produce. Right of the farm. The place is huge. Very safe. Also, It is right next to Soriana market and so an easy walk to the supermarket and you can take a taxi home. There are so many great restaurants in San Miguel. Just a few not to miss. Luna is great, They do not serve till 2:00 but the view is amazing and the food is 5 star. Also A little trick is that in the 5 star hotels if you eat lunch or have drinks you can hang out by the pool all day for free. Muro Cafe is not to be missed. Breakfast and lunch only. Closed Wed. Really great food. Mostly expats. Seems most eat there all the time, I can see why. Cupanios bakery just off the Jardin is excellent. Do not miss this one. The Restaurant is also 5 star and said to be very expensive but considering the quality of the food. Very reasonable. Via Organica is really great breakfast and lunch. Try a margarita there, The best ever. One last place The taco truck off the Jardin, there on the weekends. Best taco ever.
If you rent this property you will not be disappointed. We will be back for sure."

"Denis and Patti's home is elegant and inviting. There are a variety of comfortable spaces to enjoy.. The quiet, cool patio just inside the beautiful art lined hallway; or a little sunshine on the plant filled rooftop terrace with a lovely view of Centro ,, ... And of course the open living/dining area again with some beautiful artwork and tasteful furniture
The furniture throughout the house is very comfortable,, my favourite being the comfy couches in the living room with the gas fireplace for those few chilling nights. The living /dining area gets some beautiful lighting in the afternoons through the large arched glass doors leading into the area. The house is well equipped with everything I needed especially the kitchen for anyone who likes to entertain and the house is a great place to do that.. Easy to have a band playing out on the patio and people milling around the living/dinning area and large patio
The bedrooms have fantastic beds/ bedding.. If you have travelled thru other parts of mexico you will understand why I note this! They are both comfortable, roomy and well decorated with their own bathrooms/shower which is great if you are sharing the house
I loved the location.. Everything you need closeby but for those who love to explore, a walk through all of San Miguel is a must, a few hills and half an hour walk from 19 Nunez will get you to the amazing botanical gardens overlooking San Miguel
My experience was great, it felt like a home away from home not just a place to stay. The owners, Denis and Patti were most helpful in answering any questions I had They are quite involved in the community in many ways so are a wealth of information if you are interested. As well, their delightful housekeeper Vicki who comes three times a week was so kind and helpful, especially kind to tolerate my very bad Spanish!
I was lucky enough to stay in this lovely home more than once .. December 2013 and back for two months March and April 2014. Please note the system did not allow. Me to enter my correct dates as I am late writing this review )"
