  • Best Christmas and New Year's Eve stay in PV ever

"We stayed at Gary’s condo from Dec. 20th, 2013 through Jan 3rd, 2014 and had a wonderful time in PV. The location of the condo was perfect (very good bus connections and/or in walking distance) and the view was really very nice. We had never been so close to any New Year’s Eve fireworks then from the balcony of Gary’s condo. The two bedrooms and the large bathroom area was just perfect for three adults. We enjoyed our time in PV and did some tours (we did most of them during our first stay in PV), but we can recommend a trip to San Sebastian, as well as a trip to Sayulita (by public bus!)."

  • Beautifully decorated comfortably furnished condo.

"Beautifully decorated, comfortably furnished condo with expansive views of Banderas Bay. The hot tub is a nice touch! We found the owner was readily accessible by email and cooperative with our needs. Condo staff were friendly and accommodating. The condo complex is located close to the Romantic Zone via a 10-15 minute walk. My 67 year old husband had difficulties with the climb back up to the condo and we relied on 50 peso taxi rides to get "home". I would recommend this condo but caution accessibility for older travellers who prefer to walk."

  • OMG

"First, the unit is breathtaking. The decorating and the unique custom interior painting by local artist Pablo Chihuaha is one of a kind and could only be found in a place like this. It has every amenity anyone could ask for and the furnishings are as hip as the Icon itself. Second, the Icon, is probably the most exclusive place to stay in all of the Gold Coast area. The place exudes sophistication and its upscale atmosphere is everywhere. From the outdoor pooltable to the private movie studio you can use, everything is perfect. It is very easy to call this place paradise. Lastly, working with the owner Susan couldnt have been easier. She is there to answer any questions we had and arranged for everything from a private snorkeling tour to our very own gourmet chef. We will defintely be back."

  • Great little condo close to downtown

"This was my first time using vrbo. kristine was super easy to contact and fast to respond. booked dates via email and paid via paypal. upon arrival in PVR, instead of the airport govt taxi ($16) we crossed the bridge and took a yellow taxi for 100pesos ($8). Check-in was a breeze. Condo is exactly as described and pictured on vrbo. We had an issue with the wifi being down when we first arrived and was able to get in contact with her via email through the free wifi in the lobby. once fixed, i never had to contact her again. Every day was spent at the pool/beach and then the evenings were spent at the Malecon, 65peso taxi ride each way. I would have given 5 stars, but the pool is in need of refurbishing. the edges had chunks of concrete missing as well as the tiling on the upper edge of the pool. The holiday Inn tower is not the best looking hotel on the strip of beach, but the condo is great and the view is even better. i'd stay again for sure! thanks kristine!"
