  • Home away from Home

"Twice we have been to the City Road apartments and enjoyed our stay immensely. It is nice staying centrally in Melbourne for special occasions and sporting events, without the long drives associated with traversing Melbourne. Close to Crown, Tram Car Restaurant, Regent Theatre, Kino Cinema, Exhibition Centre, Etihad Stadium and some of the most talked about restaurants in Australia along the Southbank. If you are a fitness freak there is a lap pool and a well-appointed gym; and why not strolls to the MCG or the Tennis Centre; or a tram ride to the Aquatic Centre – in Albert Park, that nestles up against the Albert Park Lake Grand Prix circuit. In fact with the great views, and comfortable apartment, leaving is the only hard thing to do at this City Road, address. And if you are there for a week there is a Food Works supermarket a right turn at the front of the building; just over [under] Kings Way; and for a full shop, there is a Coles Supermarket, left along Clarendon Street, or a right turn out of the car-park. Along Clarendon Street there are also many ethnic restaurants, including Thai and Indian, and further into the suburb, is the second most famous fresh food market in Melbourne – the South Melbourne Market, off York along Clarendon. This area is a pleasant relaxed gateway onto Melbourne’s beaches; such as St Kilda, Brighton and Sandringham, or further afield to Frankston and Portsea. Or if you need to head west, instead, the road you view from the 40th floor is Westgate Freeway, the gateway to the west. Enjoy your stay, we did."

  • Great living space & locations

"Stayed here nearly a full week & couldn't ask for a better location. 25 min. metro ride from the airport & 10-20 minute walk to the core of the Sydney CBD. The space itself was much bigger than expected and you can comfortably have 2-4 people in there. George was great and was quite flexible w/ check-in time. Will admit that I had my concerns w/ the payment issue, but it all worked out and I couldn't have been happier w/ my stay."

  • Perfect Getaway

"My boyfriend and I enjoyed Noosa Heads over a quick 3 day Christmas holiday thanks to the lovely Shack property. The house is well appointed and laid out with the central focus around the open air deck which connects the living area to the master bedroom. The tree canopy surrounding the property is filled with amazing bird song and a good amount of shade to protect from the heat. All the details of the house are well maintained including the beds, bathrooms and kitchen appliances and utensils. We cooked a nice Christmas dinner on the grill outside and enjoyed the luxuries of a home cooked meal while traveling. Wireless internet worked well in the kitchen area and was definitely handy when trying to "FaceTime" with our families for Christmas. The house is a 2 minute walk into the central part of town and a 15-20 minute walk to the beach. We barely used our car while staying here as it was more fun to walk through the town and enjoy the relaxed beach lifestyle."

  • Highly Recommend

"We are a Canadian Family of 4 with a 16 year old girl and a 17 year old boy and had an absolutely great vacation and feel fortunate to have come across this property. It was eyepopping when we first arrived. Luxurious, modern, clean, spacious with all the amenities you could possibly need including full well equipped full size kitchen and laundry pair. Good satellite tv on two large flat screen tvs. Lots of room to give the teens their space. The complex was great too. Water in pools was warm. I have no reservations and wholeheartedly recommend. Marg is so helpful, kind and available responding quickly to emails. Palm Cove is about a half hour car ride north of Cairns, and I would recommend a car. Driving is easy and lots of rental co right at airport that won't try to sell you useless extra insurance. Groceries in Palm Cove are available only at expensive corner stores, and the community itself is small and quiet. No night clubs here, but a couple of nice bars. If you want that scene, you can still drive to Cairns. We dived from Cairns and went here after diving and found that a great combination. Thanks again Marg. What a great property and so well maintained. Cliff and Lori, Saskatoon, SK Canada"
