  • Wish I could give it 10 stars!

"Sea Dream and Sand Dollar are THE most incredible places to stay in the Fort Bragg area. We highly highly recommend booking either the Sand Dollar (smaller unit that sleeps 2) or the Sea Dream (the full house that sleeps 12). The facilities are absolutely gorgeous, immaculately clean, modern and the views are breathtaking. Located literally right ON the beach, you can stay here and never need to leave for anything. The house includes a large deck with seating, a BBQ and fire pit. The hot tub is enclosed off of the master bedroom and the views from inside and outside the house are unbelievable. The decor is gorgeous, everything is extremely comfortable. If you want to run to town its super close but you won't want to leave this gorgeous place! Everything about the stay from booking to the actual trip was a dream. We give it the highest recommendation possible and so does our dog Milly!"

  • Lawrence and Sarah

"This is was a New Year's three night stay with two other couples. It was like stepping into your own dream house perched on a bluff overlooking the Pacific. All the comments you read on this property are true...so I won't repeat them again. We will be back! Thanks Ruth for offering such a wonderful experience. Warm Regards, Lawrence"

  • Truly Amazing!

"We just stayed here with our two children for about 5 days. Everything about this home/property is perfect. The area is just peaceful. You are able to pick anything that you want from the Organic Garden. We all loved the blackberry Popsicles too! The Avenue of the Giants is just a few steps away and you are into the Redwoods. There are nice short, flat trails and fallen trees for the kids to climb on. The home itself is beautiful and so clean. We felt like we were at home. The hot tub is also such a treat. Mel and Holly were so incredibly hospitable and nice to chat with. They made sure that we were comfortable and that the kids had everything they needed for their daily bad mitten games. I was truly sad to leave. It is a refreshing time experiencing a different way of life. It is a ways from Trees of Mystery and some of the "touristy" things, but anything that we saw up in this area, far surpassed the tourist stop. You can stay here and take in the Redwoods in their natural setting. Also good bird watching. Woodpeckers, Quail, Hummingbirds, etc. Two little bunnies would come and eat each morning and evening at the edge of the property. Thanks so much Mel and Holly for a trip that we will never forget. We will be back!"

  • Peaceful retreat

"A great location to lose track of time. Set among 2nd growth redwoods on a hillside with a distant view of the ocean, secluded outdoor hot tub, great sound system that spreads the music through out, and a bedroom that feels like you're sleeping in a treehouse. We went on hikes and explores to Salt Point State Park (Gerstle Cove), Kruse Rhododendron State Preserve. Watched astounding sunsets at Timber Cove. And responsive and thoughtful communication with the owner--Russell rocks!"
