  • What a fantastic beach house on the sand!!

"We have stayed in several beach houses, but this is really a 'beach house'! The décor, the layout, the openness of the kitchen, living room and dining room and the front facing the ocean is all windows!! All appliances are in great shape, the stone floor tiles and carpeting in all bedroom are in great shape and we cannot say enough about the house. What a wonderful place to take a vacation and we plan on booking again next year."

  • A Wonderful Stay

"We rented Sherry's cottage for a week while visiting the Newport Beach area for a family wedding. It was perfect for our needs, comfortably accommodating my wife and I and our 2 adult sons. The neighbors were very friendly, the neighborhood was very safe, lovely and quiet and parking was not a problem. Walking throughout the neighborhood streets treats the visitor to views of beautiful homes and gardens. The location was fairly easy walking distance to the village as well as the beach. Though small, the house was well provisioned for our needs and the beds were comfortable. We did very little cooking but loved the vintage gas stove. Sitting out on the front lawn in the mornings and evenings was a pleasure. Corona del Mar is a great place for a summer vacation and the "Yellow Beach Cottage" added to the charm. We much prefer this lodging experience over the hotel/motel 'ambiance'. Thanks again, Sherry for sharing."

  • Great house that had everything

"Thanks Ken & Liz We stayed here for 2 months and it was excellent, we have 3 boys, 7, 6 and 9 months and the house was really comfortable for us. Its not far to walk to the beach or Huntington Beach main street. The shopping mall and movies are all only 5 minutes away so the location is ideal. The back yard is great, being from Scotland it was nice to be able to use the grill in January, the hot tub is excellent and was used nearly everyday by all of us. The garage is filled with good bikes, skateboards, wetsuits and surfboards which was really good and something you don't tend to get in a vacation rental, having young boys its always 'boring' for them to walk about so having the bikes and skateboards was a big benefit, they were on them all the time! All in we had a great 2 months here with nice memories, it's a nice quiet neighbourhood and the house is really homely, it doesn't feel like a vacation rental at all. We will be back The McKinlays from Scotland"

  • PIMP is all I have to say!

"P.I.M.P. is all i have to say. I got to experience the W style house for a few days and it has to be the perfect location! It's a barely a block away from Main Street which is very close, yet at the same time it doesn't get rowdy. So you don't have to deal with any douchy rowdy people that don't understand people do live around there. Most of the rooms are nice and cosy, however my favorite room has to be the master bedroom with the awesome bath room. The rain shower which is super awesome after a nice long day at the beach. Inside the house is great even when it's a good 90 degrees outside you only have to open the windows to keep the house cool and breezy. I love getting up in the morning here because they have great breakfast places like banzai bowl for a good acai bowl (must try the Maui sunrise bowl) before a nice glassy surf session and then hitting up sugar shack (I recommend the Main street breakfast burrito with a side of their heavenly golden hash brown has to he one of the best breakfast burrito I've had in California). Then walk 2 mins back to the house and chill with a fulfilling food coma for a few hours. I did this for the whole stay. I couldn't image a better life. I take a few days off every year to rent a place in Huntington or Newport Beach every year for a mini vacation from the sgv area and this has to be my favorite place so far. Highly recommended and Mimi and Vu we're super helpful and responsive they even had bikes to rent for a better price than the bike store nearby."

Of course, no one comes to Orange County without heading to Anaheim area to visit the Magic Kingdom, Disneyland, the iconic original home to the world-famous mouse and friends. You could also take advantage of the weather at Fashion island, an outdoor shopping experience with over 200 stores, featuring a Venetian carousel. To mix entertainment and shopping, a great day out is the Block at Orange, with shops and plenty of entertainment, including themed restaurants and a skate park. Then, there is the Village at Orange; it is huge too! If you still need more shopping, the Irvine Spectrum Center has that and more.
