"I have been visiting Durango for over 30 years and taking my own children for the last 10. This was by far the best lodging experience I have had there. This home was the perfect location- close to town but with a country feel in beautiful scenery. The house had everything we needed and much more. It had plenty of room for our group of 8. The property management attends to every detail and the cleanliness exceeded my expectations. The favorite part of our trip was just relaxing in this beautiful backyard. There is a short hike just behind the home. We did it every morning even with our young children. When adults needed some down time there were plenty of games, movies and even a Wii to keep kids entertained. I am so thankful we chose this home and that my children were able to experience the beauty of Durango that I have always loved."

"Rio Angels was a great vacation spot for our family of four, the house had everything we needed and plenty of room for us and our two teenagers. We loved having the river right out the back door and the privacy of being on a large, fairly secluded lot. Going back and forth to Durango for rafting, eating, shopping, etc. was quick and easy and we were close enough to other great places to see like the Mesa Verde National Park, Lake Vallecito and Pagosa Springs that the location really worked for us.
We fished the Animas from the property (lots of rain this year so the river was running high and fast making fishing tough), we sat by the fire pit, watched the Durango fire works on the 4th in the rain from the top of the driveway and watched the lightning over the hills from the back deck. Overall a cool experience.
Our only surprise was that the property was a little closer to the road(s) and the commercial area than we expected, it made it very convenient but not quite as secluded as we expected. It would be good to have a DVD player for the downstairs TV also so everyone could watch a movie without being in the bedroom. Either way we had a great time, the house was clean and well appointed and we would go back again."

"Well-stocked, wonderfully decorated condo that met all our needs as a family of 3. Rich's response to our minor issue was quick and excellent - somebody had swiped the propane tank from the grill, and Rich was able to have the tank replaced in a matter of hours!!! Expect the usual spices and supplies in the kitchen, then expect much more! The kitchen in this condo has more stuff than the one in our actual house. The condo is incredibly suitable for a small family like ours, and we enjoyed it immensely. Clean! Awesome TV for super bowl weekend. FYI - UPS delivers to the door. Internet is DSL. Sleds provided. Location is convenient to slopes, shops and resort amenities. Awesome and easy transaction, would highly recommend."

"Our family spent one week in July at Elkpoint #3, and it exceeded our expectations! The nice pictures don't even capture what a beautiful townhome this is and it's proximity to The Village at the Durango Mountain Resort. We had 10 people in the townhome, and it was perfectly spacious for each couple/family to have their own private area and bathroom. It is very well maintained and up-to-date, and the kitchen is nicely equipped to cook any meals. The view from the living room is amazing!! We had 3 children with us, and they loved being able to walk to The Village where all the summer activities are...the bungee trampoline, alpine slide, zipline, scenic ski lift ride, mining, etc. We thought the distance from the mountain resort to the city of Durango was perfect (about 25 minutes), just far enough away but still easily accessible. Kimberly, the property manager is very kind and helpful and responds quickly to any questions or concerns. We feel like we found a really special place here. We loved every minute of our stay and look forward to returning!"
