  • Amazing family vacation Thank You for such a beautiful place

"This was our first time staying at the Turtle Walk. We brought the whole family 3 kids and in-laws. This was the first time for the kids and in-laws to see the ocean. The condo was felt like home away from home. Having a washer and dryer right in our condo was WONDERFUL. The rooms were comfortable the view from our balcony was breathtaking. The beach was so quiet and peaceful in the mornings. It was nice to be so close and be able to take walks with my hubby. :). The kids enjoyed having the option of a pool and beach. The beach was never crowded and was always well maintained. The location is perfect...Destin was super busy so it was nice to get away from the crowds after we came back to the condo. The kitchen had everything you would need and more. Thanks so much for letting stay in this wonderful place. We came home with wonderful memories that will last a lifetime. We miss it already and can't wait to come back in the future."

"Me and my family just came back from staying here (5/25/10) and we had the best vacation! The condo was great! The pictures on this site don't do it justice! There is a new couch in the living room and the condo is very nicely decorated. The owner used a mgmt. rental company so if you have any reservations about going thru an owner, don't worry! The mgmt. company provided us with paper towels, sample laundry detergent, dishwashing liquid and dishwasher tablets! There was plenty of towels as well. Although the master bedroom wasn't extra large, it was still plenty big enough for us to have a pack n play in there for my 22 month old! There were 2 bunk beds in the hall that had their own light with each bed. It was very nice having 2 bathrooms in the condo. The master has a large stand up shower and the other bathroom was a full bath! The rental included a beach umbrella rental and 2 chairs! So nice when it's 90 degrees and you have two litttle ones! Another little thing that was nice was the safety chain on the door. I could lock that and know that the baby wouldn't be able to get out! (I know, little things, but those things are helpful with toddlers). In summary, this was a great condo, great location (near Destin and stuff but not as congested), and the owner and rental company was great to work with! We will definitely use again!! :)"

  • Best Family Vacation Yet

"We've stayed at Waterscape many times, but this was the best vacation yet. The kids loved having lights over the bunk beds. The others we have stayed in did not have that. Beautifully furnished. Owner was wonderful to work with. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Also, the unit included beach service, which was wonderful."

  • Very Nice!

"This condo was large, clean and well furnished and had beautiful views. We liked the private internet access and were very pleased that we never heard anyone at any of the other condos (must be well sound proofed!). The pictures were accurate except that the patio furniture has been changed (instead of wicker furniture there is now just a table and 6 chair set). Everything about the condo was very comfortable. The only drawbacks to The Palms are the small pool and the extremely slow elevator. We usually just walked up and down the six flights each time. We ate at Floyd's on the boardwalk one evening... $9.99 for all you can eat popcorn shrimp and fried fish. It was good. Our best meal was at Harry T's at Harbourwalk in Destin. Great food and fun waterside outdoor seating. This was our first stay on Okaloosa Island and we truly enjoyed it."
