  • Lovely condo at Kapaa, Kauai, Hawaii

"This condo has the best location at the Lei Nani resort, with great views, close to the pool and cool cross ventilation. It is beautifully furnished, with everything one needs, including a wonderful mattress on the bed in the BR. Close to markets and restaurants, and right on the beach. We would be happy to return to it when returning to Kauai."

  • Best vacation ever!!!

"There were 5 of us staying in this condo and the accommodations were awesome. I believe we had the best view of all the condos. Plenty of space with room to spare. Location was kinda in the middle of everywhere we went, whether it was north or south. Kitchen, Dining room and bathrooms were really nice. The carpet in all bedrooms needs to be replaced along with the living room furniture. We easily overlooked this as the rest was just awesome. The view is perfect. Snorkel gear, beach chairs and towels, floaties, beach umbrellas, it was all there for use. Only downfall was that my mom hurt her foot before our trip and there are no elevators and we were on the third floor. I would definitely recommend this to anyone staying on Kauaii as opposed to a hotel if you're staying on the island more than one night. Very quiet and relaxing. There are 2 bedrooms available."

  • A soul sister...

"After a long, tiring trip from Wisconsin, we arrived to be welcomed by a charming and warm woman. It made us feel at home - a feeling which persisted the whole 2 weeks we were at her cottage. We went upstairs to find not only fruit and bottled water, but a bottle of really nice French champagne! We were very pleased with everything - plenty of room to spread out, a fully equipped kitchen, a nice lanai even satellite tv where we could watch the Wisconsin football game at 7am. The location was perfect for us because we could visit the entire island without driving too far in either direction. Also, it was on a nice street with neighbors who were pleasant. Candace always was willing to answer questions and was always helpful. By the end of our two weeks we realized not only how wonderful the island was, but how much we had in common with our downstairs neighbor! Claude was especially delighted with the two cats - one of which was really friendly and had permission to sleep with us. We have wonderful memories of the island. A big part was meeting Candace. Thank you so much."

  • Great vacation

"We own a VRBO in San Diego, but had never stayed at one. This was a perfect first VRBO stay! We were looking for a relaxed, not frenzied resort environment--we were looking for a home. The condo has a pool, tennis court, and small beach. The location was great—30 minutes to the airport and only a mile to Safeway, Subway, Starbuck’s and nice restaurants if you don’t want to drive. A coin laundry steps from the front door with a laundry sink to rinse out salt water, sand, or that famous red dirt was nice to have. Our favorite aspect of the facility was the landscaping. Stone walkways lace the property. There is a koi pond, and if you ask, the grounds keeper will let you feed them. There are small and large planting areas of bromeliads with artful color schemes and many palms. Every night the Tiki lights were lit from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. Most mornings we walked to the beach (steps from the condo) for the sunrise. Kauai is a fairly small island, so travel to the North, South, or West was easy. There were a variety of travel books at the condo, and we found “The Ultimate Kauai Guidebook” to be our favorite. It was a nice and relaxing vacation and this condo was a great find for us."
