"Our family of 4 (including 2 college age students) had a dream vacation here. The condo is beautifully situated on the east coast of Kauai, conveniently to great restaurants and attractions both north and south. And the view from the living room and balcony is even under-stated on the description-greeting us every morning was a gorgeous beach with the soft sound of waves and a beautiful breeze. The furnishings were modern and beautiful, with every convenience possible (one exception is no air conditioning, but that turned out to be a plus as the ocean breeze was more than enough to keep us cool and feeling tropical!). In addition, the owner was incredibly responsive-I received a cheerful response within an hour of my email. Couldn't recommend this condo more highly-we definitely plan to return. It was our first experience with VRBO, and a huge success in every way."Guest: Steve Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: July 8, 2014View listing
"We had a great time. Suzanne and her on island staff provided excellent service to us while we stayed in Kauai. The condo was centrally located and easy to get to and from. The pictures of the condo displayed on VRBO are accurate to the unit. The property was clean and the landscaping was beautiful. We enjoyed all aspects of the island from north to south to east to west. We enjoyed the sunset dinner cruise with Captain Andy's up the Na Pali Coast the best. It was another wonderful adventure. A gorgeous sunrise greeted us most mornings. Breakfast and dinner with the view of the ocean was fantastic. Thank you so much for sharing your home away from home with us!"Guest: Lindsey L. "Mahalo to Janet and Earl for the opportunity to enjoy another wonderful stay at Lae Nani. This comfortably decorated unit is a pleasure to stay in, with a wonderful view. Julie and I can recommend this unit, without reservation, to anyone looking for a place to call home during a stay on Kauai. A delightful place to stay. "We stayed here for our 25th anniversary trip from 9/5/13 to 9/12/13 and it couldn't have been more wonderful. We just loved the condo, the location and most of all the view!!!! Incredible! When were "at home" we spent most of our time on the lanai. Right before sunrise was the most breathtaking so get up early! I was blown away every morning by the sheer beauty of the sky and ocean. We also loved sitting out at night and watching the stars. A very special condo and very well taken care of. We hardly ate out since the first day there we went to Costco and stocked up on food and drink. How nice to eat on the deck and have a pina colada there at the end of the day. We hope to be back one day, Kauai is a very special place and so it this condo!"Guest: CT Date of Stay: September 2013 Review Submitted: October 11, 2013View listing
Wailua Travel Tips
Wailua Vacation Rentals Offer Serene Beauty
Wailua vacation rentals are a great place to stay if you want immediate access to the Wailua River State Park. The park covers over 1,000 acres of land on the island of Kuaia, and it includes Lydgate Park. If you like to kayak or canoe, the river is one of the state's best destinations. The minimal current makes it easy to paddle up and down stream. At the southern side of the river, you can pause for lunch at the picnic area. With vacation rentals in Wailua, you can enjoy a fully equipped kitchen, making it a breeze to prepare your favorite meals to go.
Wailua Beach Rentals Make it Easy to Catch a Wave
With Wailua beach rentals, you get to stay near the water, and in many cases on the waterfront. A few steps bring you to a beach where you can snorkel, swim, sunbathe, or fish. Build a sandcastle or wait for low tide when you can explore the shallow pools filled with aquatic treasures. If you like to surf, grab your board. You can enjoy kite boarding, wake boarding, and wind surfing, too. When you finish playing, head back to your beach rental in Wailua and rinse off. Toss your wet swimsuits and towels in the dryer while you enjoy watching TV in the furnished living room.
Kauai Travel Takes You to Paradise
Kauai travel opportunities let you enjoy the garden island. If you like archeological sites, plan a trip to one of the nearby heiau. These Hawaiian temples pay tribute to yesteryear, preserving the history of the island. Whales, dolphins, and sea turtles like to swim though the waters, and the crystal-clear water is great for snorkeling. With vacation rentals in Wailua, you can also enjoy aerial tours and outdoor expeditions.
