Great Place to Stay
"My husband and I stayed at the Orchid Room during our honeymoon. This was our second trip to Kauai and we thought the Orchid Room was a wonderful place to stay. The room fit our needs perfectly after doing a backpacking trip on the Napali Coast. It was nice to have a clean, spacious room with a small fridge and a comfortable bed to stay in. The location is also close to a lot of the places we were interested in visiting without being in a really tourist-y place (we are not hotel/tourist type vacationers). We visited Queen's bath, Tunnels Beach, Secret Beach, and day hiked in the Waimea Canyon (this one was a little farther of a drive). Mahalo for a great place!"

"This was my first stay with a VRBO property and I can only wonder why I waited so long. After selecting the area of Kauai in which I wanted to be, and the size of unit which would accommodate our family, I relied on customer reviews to make the determination of specific property. Without exception, this property received outstanding reviews. Now, having returned from the idyllic setting, I want to add to that long list of satisfied customers.
Lori was a hands-on owner from the moment I initiated email contact. She was prompt and thorough in her responses to my questions, including accommodating our early check-in request.
The property was better than described, immaculate, tastefully decorated, and very welcoming.
Each member of my family has a different "favorite" about the house. Mine was the lanai/balcony off the master bedroom where I began each morning with a cup of coffee, a journal, and a good book. My husband, the chef in the family, loved the kitchen and the shared BBQ area at the pool. Our adult son made good use of the boogie boards and beach chairs, visiting a different beach each day of the trip. Our adult daughter appreciated the roominess of the entire space which allowed her to have her own bedroom.
The property's location was walking distance to golf courses, the spa at the St. Regis, and numerous restaurants. In addition, it was only a short drive to Hanalei where we partook in boating, snorkeling, hiking, paddle and boogie-boarding, body-surfing and just plain relaxing in the warm sand.
A definite 5-star property which the entire family recommends."

"Great place in Hanalei/Princeville area with lots of things walkable nearby--a big grocery store, a bank, beaches, restaurants, playground. We're an active family of 4 with a teen and tween. The condo is spacious and well-decorated. The pictures don't do justice to how nice it is. The owners are full of helpful info and are very gracious. They also return the security deposit quickly. It’s these little things that add up to make this a great place—parking near the unit, a pool for hanging out when you need a little break from sand and waves, nice neighbors, a closet full of gear so you don’t have to rent or buy snorkels, boogie boards, etc. We took surf lessons 10 min away in Hanalei Bay, ziplined 5 min away at Princeville Ranch. Waves too big for Napali Coast boat trip this time, but was also nearby at Hanalei Bay. Would definitely stay here again."
