"1st off Maureen is a very sweet and down to earth person , She greeted and addressed any needs or ?s we had. When entering the condo my family and I were very happy with what we found , all the amenities and then some . It is difinitely home away from home. The price is beyond fair for a 3 bedroom 2 full bathrooms 2 story unit over memorial weekend. I just found my residents every time I visit Kauai. Thank you very much for making our stay that much SWEETER."

"I stayed here for one week and really enjoyed the cottages. They are located on a hill with other homes in the distance, but it feels quite rural. The decor was much classier than other VRBO's I've stayed in here in the islands. They have paid a lot of attention to details. The suite was immaculate with very nice beds, bedding and towels. Even the smaller suite is good size with a large bathroom and walk in shower. Large deck with nice patio furniture. The back side of the suites and deck are high above the ground at mid tree level so it feels a little like being in a tree house and is very private. The host, Lynn was very nice and helpful in recommending restaurants etc. There are several good restaurants 5 min away. I would recommend arriving in daylight if you can because it will make the turn in from the road easier to negotiate. The island in general is populated with lots of wild chickens and roosters so if you are a light sleeper, bring earplugs, as the roosters make quite a racket, even at night!
I would highly recommend these cottages to visitors to Kauai!"

LOVED, LOVED OUR MONTH HERE - NEXT YEAR WE ARE STAYING EVEN LONGER!
"I am going to get straight to the point! WE LOVE, LOVE, LOVED THE MONTH WE SPENT AT HALE O’ANI THIS YEAR! And we are coming again in 2016 – this time for ten weeks!
After several years of staying in condos on the beach in Poipu, my husband and I decided to explore more of Kauai’s vacation properties. Fortunately, we were still on the island when we found the listing for the above property and were able to see it in person. We loved the serenity of the location and the beautiful attention to detail of the décor. We rented it on the spot for the entire month of January, 2015. It did not disappoint. It is a wonderful retreat. The furnishings are unique, the floors spectacular, and the place immaculate. The bedding is first class, with wonderful pillows (better than I have at home).
I love to cook and consequently we ate out infrequently during the month. I found the kitchen to be well equipped with a blender, food processor, crock pot, all the typical utensils, and a gas stove, which was a bonus. The glassware and dishes are much nicer than I’ve ever had in a condo property. There is also a Weber grill with all appropriate tools. And Tommy Bahama beach chairs, plus an umbrella for days at the beach. The hot tub and outside shower were great treats, and we enjoyed the seclusion and privacy that the stucco wall with palms and blooming flowers provided (think “romantic tropical” house). There are plenty of birds singing and typical creatures that you’d expect to see in a tropical climate.
Faye and Bob were highly attentive, but not intrusive. Because we were staying for a month we made a few requests that were fulfilled immediately. While we don’t want to wish our lives away, I can’t wait to get back to this wonderful spot which seems to be a great balance of beauty and functionality; and that suits us perfectly."

"On south side of island in nice neighborhood. Not an Oceanside location but that didn't matter to me. Nice patio with garden, and impressive back yard. It was the patio that grabbed me the most in deciding to stay here. I had this entire house to myself while occupying the lower living space.
Yes the stars at night (early morning hours) were impressive. Meteors spotted along with the Milky Way. Never see that back home due to big city lights.
I would enjoy mornings reading my Bible with quiet time with the LORD
while drinking Kona coffee. Great place for closeness with GOD.
Kauai was going through a period of abnormally high heat and humidity during my stay. Off shore storms were keeping trade winds away. This VRBO could use an AC upgrade or even an additional standing fan. Requested assistance with this from the caretaker during a chance meeting. Nothing came of it. Had everything else I could have wanted."
