  • Dream Vacation Spot!

"Walt and Carol have created a dream vacation spot! Our stay at Maui Kamaole (272623) made our first trip to Maui the dream vacation we had envisioned! The unit is beautiful and very well maintained with views of both the ocean and mountains!!! All of the amenities made our stay so enjoyable! We loved being able to come back from the beach and visit the beautiful pools and grill out on the BBQ! All of the extra care that Walt and Carol have taken to provide for our every need were incredible and made our trip unforgettable. From boogie boards to snorkel equipment, beach chairs, etc. we had everything we needed to make the most of our experience. We loved starting the day off snorkeling at all of the great beaches! The guide that they have provided on all of the local attractions made planning out our stay so easy!! We took advantage of many of your great suggestions! Our experience included a Luau, the Road to Hana, a helicopter ride, and of course, dinner at Mama’s Fish House. Your snorkel suggestions kept us going back for more!!!! We felt like we had our own personal concierge service with all of the useful information you provided in your guidebooks. Truly a paradise destination for us and having spent two weeks in Walt and Carol’s Maui Kamaole condo we will definitely book again!!!!"

  • Family friendly resort

"We had a wonderful stay. The condo was wonderful - clean on check-in, the management company was very helpful and pro-active with informing us about the hurricane and other things. We really enjoyed the Kamaole Sands community - we used everything offered at some point - BBQ area, pool, free daily paper, ping pong, tennis courts and beach just across the street. Very nice and professional staff. We will definitely consider staying here again - I don't think you can find a better setting for a family like ours with tween- and teen-aged kids. They had the freedom to go the beach or play ping pong in a safe environment. Our relatives stayed in other condos across the Sands and they all enjoyed their stay. We had a fabulous vacation."

  • Paradise Awaits You!

"A beautiful condo.....I will be back. Location, location, location. Thanks to Tomoko for having us in her fabulous condo. Kitchen is totally equipped with great appliances and kitchen supplies. 4th floor condo overlooking a salt water pool and glorious ocean where you can snorkel and swim with the turtles. This complex has a many conveniences such as a restaurant, store and event kiosk. No air conditioning in unit a but, as we found out it was not necessary....we had the screen doors and fans on and with the trade winds it was absolutely wonderful. My girlfriend was in unit b and she never put the air on. You are 5 mins from Safeway....don't go to Foodland we were very disappointed. Costco is 20 mins away. Pizza Madness was awesome, went to Lahaina for the day and Fleetwoods for lunch...had fish tacos delicious lunch. 5 mins from great shopping at Wailea. 5 Palms downstairs has a great happy hour and Sorento's next door for breakfast is awesome....tell them you are staying at the Mana Kai and get 15% off. I loved this condo so much and highly recommend it! Thanks Tomoko"

  • Magical Thanksgiving

"The condo was very nice. Recently updated and had everything one could need for your stay. The kitchen was fully stocked with utensils and gadgets. It was nice to show up and not have to stock up the kitchen with coffee filters, paper towels etc. We replaced what we used. We had a beautiful ocean breeze keeping the condo cool and fresh. A wonderful experience. Spent several evenings up on the common area on the roof. Simply wonderful!"

Kihei Travel Tips

Kihei? is on Maui's southwest shore, with six gorgeous miles of sand and stunning natural views for as far as they eye can see. Whether you plan to spend your time swimming, kayaking, surfing or fishing, you're sure to locate a lovely spot to do so here. Keep an eye out, you just might see a humpback whale while you're lounging. There's birdwatching and hiking spots for nature lovers as well. The center boasts a beachfront location, so if you're in Kihei during the winter months you may even get to see some of the whales in the water! Inside you'll find both temporary and permanent exhibits teaching about marine life and the habitat including Coral Reefs and Marine Life, Maritime Heritage, Hawaiian Monk Seals, Native Hawaiian Plants, Listening for Humpback Whales, Volcanoes of the Sea, The Island of Maui and more.

Here you can build amazing sandcastles, jog along the surf, catch up on a good book, toss a Frisbee or catch a wave. Kamaole Park I is the largest, while III boasts a grassy spot perfect for picnics. When you need a break, do a little shopping at the Dolphin Center or Rainbow Mall across from Kamaole Parks I and II.

- Kealia Pond National Wildlife Refuge: Nature and animal lovers will appreciate a trip to the Kealia Pond National Wildlife Refuge, a salt marsh covering almost 700 acres that's home to at least 30 species of water birds, ducks, shorebirds and other creatures. Here you'll find the Kealia Coastal Boardwalk, which is a lovely walkway where you can enjoy the bird sanctuary and spend some time discovering the native wildlife.

Or, if breakfast food isn't your thing, they also offer sandwiches, burgers and salads. The casual atmosphere sets the mood for the day and makes for an excellent spot to begin the morning.

- Sarento's on the Beach: If you're looking for a nice night out that's a bit more upscale, book a reservation at Sarento's on the Beach.
