"This spacious condo is ideal for families. The property is clean and well maintained. Kitchen is fully equipped with the added convenience of a washer and dryer in the unit. The property is quiet, comfortable and close to restaurants, stores, shopping. Enjoy the pool or jacuzzi, take a short walk to the great little beach or enjoy the scenic sunsets from the balcony. Well situated and a good location for exploring the many sights of Maui. Highly recommended."

"I am glad that I rented this unit. The owners were very thoughtful with welcoming basket/note, beach towels, beach umbrellas, beach chairs, and anything else you think you might need for the beach were readily available in the unit. All of the appliances on hand in the kitchen were also much appreciated. The beach, restaurants, and small shopping centers are all within walking distance of the unit. To top it all off, whenever there were questions the owners were very quick to respond. Should we ever be in Maui again, I would definitely try and book this place again."

"This was our first time to Mana Kai and our second visit to Maui. The view of the beach and ocean was unbelievable. It was wonderful to enjoy a cup of coffee each morning on the balcony watching the waves and even seeing turtles. Several nights we left the sliding glass door open to listen to the waves. What a great way to fall asleep. We have been staying in condos for a number of years with our two daughters (now ages 10 and 13), and this was by far the cleanest one ever! My girls loved the body wash, shampoo, and conditioner dispensers in the showers. They had all the kitchen needs covered, plenty of beach towels, and a number of activity magazines to look through. Sylvia was great to work with and the cleaning ladies that came half-way through our stay were wonderful. One thing to keep in mind is that the second "bedroom" is in the family room. It is right next to the kitchen with no privacy. It was great for us-our kids stayed in the first bedroom so we got to have that one and listen to the waves at night, but some may not like it. The a/c was a huge plus, especially having two of them (second one was in the other bedroom). We talked to some people staying in other condos at Mana Kai who only had one a/c and they were pretty miserable. This particular room, # 204, is right above the restaurant, but it wasn't really a big deal. I woke up a number of days hearing them setting up the tables, but I am a light sleeper. It was nice to smell bacon though! Joe was a great waiter and Tracy was a fantastic help at the activities desk. Also, Robin in the Surf shop was great. Oh, one small hiccup was that we weren't told that the ice maker is VERY slow at making ice. You definitely need to buy ice throughout your stay. We used a lot of it as we brought insulated water bottles for the beach (both onsite and other beaches we visited). It wasn't a big deal except we didn't know the ice maker wasn't working until we ran out of the ice that the previous renters must have bought. Highly recommend that you go to Costco for groceries. They are almost the same prices as back home and will save you a LOT of money. Safeway is also good (make sure to get the Safeway card), but don't go to Foodland. We bought six bags of groceries (breakfast stuff, a little for lunch, beer, a small bottle of vodka) and spent $300.
We would highly recommend this property and would definitely return. The owners have done a remarkable job!"

"Shirley unit in the Maui Vista complex was exactly as described and excellent! The little upgrades vs. the other units were very much appreciated such as the electronic key pad which allows for keyless entry and a fully stocked kitchen with every pot/pan/utensil/small appliance possibly required for any meal. The unit has new high quality tile flooring, new kitchen cabinets, back splash, new major appliances, comfortable queen mattress, work space for a laptop, and 2 comfy loveseats that fold into beds.
Most importantly for us Canadians who can't deal with the heat there were A/C units in the main area and the bedroom which are sized correctly to cool down the unit quickly after a long day exploring.
Just across the street is the Charlie Yung beach park which has smaller waves and is usually not busy.
Overall an excellent experience - we look forward to staying in this unit in the near future on our return to Maui!"
