"My husband and I stayed here for 6 nights and it was fabulous. The view could not have been better. Waking up and drinking my tea out on the wall by the ocean was so relaxing and something I will never forget. Margaret, our hostess, was so kind and her sidekick, Lucy, a black lab, provided everything we needed. Lucy was the best. The apartment was spacious and had a small kitchen, large bedrooms, a nice living room, screened in porch, etc. We were very comfortable. It is not the Ritz but the Ritz does not have that view and we really did not want the Ritz. And the Ritz does not have Margaret and Lucy. The gardens were beautiful too. Flowers were gorgeous. We really hated to say goodbye and hope that we are able to return someday. Felt like we were leaving good friends...We made some very special memories at Bayberry Ledge and enthusiastically recommend to anyone as a great place to stay."

"Our family of six had a fabulous time at this lovely cottage. The location of the cottage was private and the views were spectacular. The house is sturdy and spacious. We could not have asked for more. The fellas hit golf balls into the bay at low tide and the rest of us had a blast looking for them before the water came in. We made day excursions to Georgetown Pottery and Popham Beach and fort (so special!) -- but mostly we loved to sit on the porch or in the comfortable adirondack chairs on the grass, and talk and laugh. We liked Frank enormously -- he was available to answer questions anytime but never hovered. We recommend this cottage without reservation -- you can't find a nicer place in Maine. I am going to hear the waves lapping in the shore of my dreams all year."

"Lovely long weekend in this well-appointed home. Easy access to the first floor bedroom for my elderly mother-in-law and to the front lawn to enjoy the amazing view of the private cove. Kitchen was well equipped, house nicely decorated and furnished. Close to local amenities yet felt away from it all!
Owner and caretaker a pleasure to work with and we look forward to an opportunity to return."

Beautiful views.A great way to relax and enjoy family .
"The Schooner Cottage is beautiful and the views outstanding .We awoke every morning to a beautiful view of Casco bay . John and Karen were absolutely wonderful hosts and did everything possible to make our stay a memorable one. The Cottage is close to all the good restaurants i.e. Estees, Dolphin, Erica's, Joshua's and the list goes on. Erica's was selling steamed lobster for $5.75 a pound .Life just does not get much better. Brunswick is a ten minute ride and is a very charming town. Be sure to try Richard's one night for German fare. Harpswell is a beautiful area and the Maine people could not have been more hospitable. Thank you John and Karen for a wonderful vacation .All of us enjoyed Schooner Cottage and Harpswell .Our three year old granddaughter wants to know why we cannot have lobster for lunch everyday .I am sure you will be hearing from us when planning future vacations.....Art and Babs"
