"Our stay at Schooner Landing was amazing. The house was more than advertised. The location spectacular and so very peaceful. We took in most of what Harpswell had to offer - excellent seafood at Cook's, Erica's, The Dolphin; trip to Ash Cove Pottery, the Cribstone Bridge, Land's End and more plus some adventures in Freeport and Portland.
We loved it all. Thanks for offering your home to us."

"I stayed here for originally 4 nights, but extended my stay a night and I absolutely loved it. It had everything I needed for a get away with my dog. The owners were so nice and helpful and give me pointers for everything from a dog friendly beach to the best restaurants. I loved that my dogs size did not matter (German Shepherd) and it had a private little yard with a hammock. The pull out couch into a bed was so comfortable, it never felt like a pull out couch. The pictures do not do the view justice, it was spectacular! I would love to stay here again and recommend it to anyone."

"this was our first time in Maine and it was a wonderful vacation only to short. This cottage was just as listed. Our family rented the cottage next door and it made a great family vacation. The outdoor shower was super! Our weather was perfect. Our only complaint was previous renters with pets and the pet hair left behind, but I m sure that now the owners are aware that will be taken care of. This was our first time to buy and eat a whole lobster, unbelievable!! We purchased it at Ericas, the best! And we also had steaks fresh cut from the local butcher on 123, and his fresh ground beef was the best for burgers. We had a long journey from Ontario Ca. but was worth the drive. We hope to return in the future and our family too. Thanks to Rob and Bridget for sharing their cottages."

A Wonderful place to spend a 50th Anniversary Celebration!
"We rented this home for a week long celebration of my brother's 50th anniversary. It could not have been more perfect! At any given time there were 15-20 of us at the home and yet we never lacked privacy! The location was picture perfect and the home itself provided all of the comforts that we were looking for! It was very well stocked in the kitchen especially and had more than enough staples that one should really check out the inventory before you go shopping!
I know one review mentioned that the house seemed worn...yes it is lived in but certainly not run down...This is a New England home on the water so yes it is not pristine....but if you are looking for a relaxing vacation this is the place for you! The beds were comfortable and having individual bathrooms was a joy in itself! The caretaker Mark was very accessible and stopped by several times throughout the week to check on us! He was also gracious enough to recommend a local caterer that helped us to plan a memorable anniversary celebration at The Brunswick Inn in nearby Brunswick...Check out the review on Trip Advisor!
Overall the week could not have been more perfect...the setting, the house, the weather and the company! Thank you for sharing this incredible house with us! It was a vacation that we will never forget!"
