"For the second year in a row, we have stayed at York Manor before the end of the summer. Last year we stayed on the first floor and this year we stayed on the second floor - and both times it was great.
If you are looking for an apartment that has all the amenities that you need and is right across from the beach, this is a rental to consider. The views are amazing - either from the rooms or you can sit on one of the numerous rocking chairs on the front porch. We have also been impressed by how clean the rooms are when we arrive and how clean the property is overall.
You are walking distant to the center of town and you can see the playground from York Manor.
This is definitely a rental consider."

"As the father of two small children (ages 3 and 5) I highly recommend this location. It's a short walk from Gooch's Beach, a very family-friendly, non-commercial spot. Our kids thoroughly enjoyed digging in the clean sand, as well as exploring tide pools and a nearby breaker, where they found countless crabs and tiny sea creatures. It's the perfect spot for early-morning walks (and runs!) and twilight strolls. The house is also about a mile from Kennebunkport (close enough for my wife and I to walk into town for dinner) and its outstanding shops and restaurants (we especially loved lobster rolls and fried clams from the Clam Shack and artisan ice cream from Rococo Ice Cream). The neighborhood is very tranquil, and its residents are extremely friendly and welcoming. The house features a great kitchen and deck for cooking and entertaining. It's also very spacious. In fact, we were able to easily accommodate my brother-in-law, his wife and their baby for several nights. There are plenty of options to chance your experience (we visited the nearby Trolley Museum and took a lobster cruise) and ways for spend quality time with your kids (ours frequented a nearby seaside playground and rode their bikes on the quiet neighborhood streets)."

"Maine has been our favorite New England vacation area for the past 47 years. We were able to enjoy our time there with some of our children and grandchildren. Our sons reveled in returning to visit the beaches and the memories made during the vacations of their childhood. Our 6 year old grandson from California was fascinated with the idea of an outdoor shower and his 9 year old sister loved the early morning walks along Kennebunk Beach and, of course, shopping in the village of Kennebunkport. My husband and I simply enjoyed watching them experience the location - on the golf course and a short walk to the beach - and the house which offered places to play, watch the golfers pass by as we ate regularly on the deck, and many areas to 'cozy up' with a book. It gave us more wonderful memories. Thank you to the Brown family, we loved our time."
