  • October Vacation in Cape Cod 2014

"Our fall trip to Cape Cod and Boston was planned hastily in mid-September thus being too late to take advantage of our time share ownership. So we elected to search out VRBOs and fortunately for us we came upon the Norris cottage. We enjoyed our stay in the area very much and plan to return in the future. The cottage was ideal, just as pictured, close proximity to the beach and to the downtown area. It lived up to our expectations having selected the property based on the very thorough description and photos available. It is well equipped with amenities and was very clean and well maintained. While the cottage could easily accommodate 6 people we found it just right for the two of us. It's a good location for excursions to Provincetown, to Martha's Vineyard (ferry dock is about 10 minutes drive away) and even a day trip into Boston is doable. It's a great vacation spot and being able to stay at the cottage made our trip so much more enjoyable. Would do it again."

  • Perfect Fit

"It's difficult to match the group with the house from thousands of miles away nearly a year in advance but this time it worked perfectly. I credit the owner with acurately describing the home, amenities, location etc....This was a 3 generation family trip and it met our needs from the 2 year old to the 61 year old. Beautifully decorated but also durable. The game room downstairs and childrens play area are amazing! Working with the owner was great from beginning to end. I felt like I was renting from a friend."

  • Lovely and Charming

"Really nice, comfortable house in great location. Very comfortable beds, very clean, well stocked kitchen, full size washer/dryer and dishwasher. Only thing we would have liked is an outdoor shower. Great beaches at Linnell Landing, Paine's Creek, Corporation Beach, amazing lobster rolls at Sesuit Harbor Cafe (about 10 minutes away), the Ice Cream Smuggler, Four Seas Ice Cream, Sundae School Ice Cream ( yes, we do like ice cream!), Brewster Bookstore, Wellfleet Drive In, Truro Vineyard and P-town."

  • Truly a GEM!

"What a wonderful house and a great location! We rented Baker's Pond for two weeks and loved it. It was wonderful waking up every morning to views of Baker's pond from the top floor bedroom and then being able to continue those views from every floor. We enjoyed having our coffee with the hummingbirds outside the slider and watching the birds feed their young in the birdhouse outside the kitchen window. The Keurig coffee machine made a quick wake up coffee possible. At the end of our week, the moon reflecting on the pond made it a very romantic evening. The house is very cozy and thoughtfully laid out. We found nothing lacking and our hosts were quick to answer any questions. There was a kayak & canoe available to use, plus we enjoyed grilling our fresh fish on the gas grill. We were able to take walks around the pond in the conservation area & Nickerson's State Park. We will definitely be back! thank you for sharing this wonderful Cape location with us."
