  • Comfortable house and exceptionally helpful owner

"Four of us stayed here for four nights while visiting Bosque del Apache NWR. While the refuge itself is about 1-hr away, the drive down is easy and quite "birdy" if you happen to be a birder. We were very glad that we stayed here and not in Socorro. This house is well maintained and well supplied with all that is necessary - a home away from home. The house is tastefully decorated and roomy. The kitchen is well supplied and the appliances are of high quality. We had a bit of a problem with wifi, but when Dennis was notified, he came right over and worked with the service provider to make sure that that everything worked properly. Could not have asked for a more prompt response. If we were to return, we would not hesitate to stay here again."

  • Great for families!

"We have enjoyed the Elkhouse for the past three years and have never been disappointed. The price is right, the house is cozy, and the kids love the loft! Dealing with Louise makes planning our trip easy, and we look forward to skiing Angel Fire annually. We also enjoy the sledding hill and the quiet atmosphere in the neighborhood."

  • Perfect for our needs

"My husband, my 2 adults children and myself were quite pleased with this 1926 Adobe House in downtown Albuquerque on our first trip to New Mexico. We used it as our base for exploring the Centre of the State. We thought it was charming, well located, and the beds: a King and 2 Queens- were so comfortable. It was pleasant to have a quiet backyard with barbecue and hottub in the middle of the city. The kitchen appliances looked new and everything was practical. We recommend it to you all!"
