  • Spacious!

"This apartment was far better in both price and space than many rooms we have seen in NYC. There is one flight of stairs to arrive at this very comfortable space - room to walk around the bed, closet space, plenty of room to unpack. It was nice to have the living room to relax on the couch and also to have the kitchen table. The AC worked great! Hara had coffee and a french press for us to use as well as a small refrigerator and stove top, dishes, etc. We were met with the key and received immediate attention when we had questions. There is also a nice selection of tour maps and guides in the room. It is a very nice neighborhood away from the hustle bustle of midtown but easy to catch a cab, walk to the subway or call a driver."

  • Perfect, comfortable, convenient apartment! Wonderful!

"We booked this apartment a couple weeks before our trip to NYC. We had both spent a lot of time in NYC/lived there, but not in this area. Let me just say from beginning to end it couldn't have gone better! Cordelia was responsive and helpful. She mailed us the keys before our trip since our flight got in late at night. The apartment is the entire floor of the building, one flight of stairs up. It is separated into different areas with lovely furnishings and the bed is very comfortable. It was some of the hottest few days ever in NYC (around 102-104) and the window unit didn't quite keep up, but it wasn't unbearable. Honestly, every restaurant, store, and show we went to were having the same issue. The kitchen had everything you could need to cook a meal. There is an amazing gourmet grocery around the corner (I want one near me!), liquor stores nearby, and a bakery a few doors down. A huge variety of restaurants and bars within a block. We visited many of them. A manageable walk to the park and museums as well. The apartment was completely quiet (which is saying something in NYC) and the area was safe. We would for sure stay again and recommend this place to anyone looking for a more residential experience with lots of great food nearby! Thanks Cordelia!"

  • Very tastefull, high-quality equiped and nicely located Appartment - highly recommended

"We (58&60 years of age) have stayed from the 29th April - 9th of May in this wonderful Apartment. The owner took perfect care of us and made the stay easy and enjoyable. The apartment is very clean and equipped with all necessities (towels, bed linen, dishes, etc.) But the apartment offers beyond the necessities high-quality, tasteful and luxury equipment (comfortable bed, art objects, pictures, bathroom and dishes from Rosenthal) which made the stay so enjoyable! The location is, also with a view into a small garden, a perfect place to recover and relax after enjoying Manhattan. Close to the apartment you found great super-markets (with big organic food section) and restaurants in all price-levels. We highly recommend this place and will for sure come back to this wonderful apartment, when coming back to NY."

  • Great Stay!

"Excellent location, especially for Upper East Side attractions including many of NY's best museums, eateries, etc. Subway 10 min walk, central park 15 min. Apt was comfortable, bright, and just roomy for a studio; and the a/c kept it pretty cool. Everything you need to eat-in (big money saver in NY) Neighborhood had all the basic services nearby (laundry, drug store, ATM's ), and felt safe. there are no shortage of ways to spend $$ in NY, so felt great to save on accommodations and food costs. If you miss the 5 star hotel scene, have a drink in their lobby."
