Very Friendly and accommodating
"This was my family's first visit to the city. My kids are 12 and 16. Because we really wanted to spend our money on entertainment, we took a while searching an affordable place to stay. The efficiency had plenty of room for the four of us. The positives of our stay were the ease of taking public transportation, the friendliness of the landlord, and the extra space we had by staying in a place that had the kitchen. Things to know in advance is that the apartment is located on a very busy corner and the outside lights never go off, so if you have a hard time sleeping in bright lights I would definitely recommend bringing an eye mask It's also loud, so be prepared for occasional sirens and a lot of horn honking. We spent very little time in the room, so this was only an issue at night. The only thing that would keep me from renting this particular apartment again was the time that it took to get into the city, I would estimate an additional 30 minutes each way just because of the location of where the Bronx is, getting to the subway and the subway ride itself. However, if you're trying to save money and still stay in a nice place I would definitely recommend this apartment, hands down."

"Our dilemma was to stay uptown in a big hotel or stay in a local venue we decided to stay in SOHO. This was a super decision you feel like a local the subway F train and Whole foods a half a block away. There are dozens of small places to eat nearby and we went everywhere from a Mets game in Queens to Coney Island using the subway and an inexpensive metro rail pass. We took our two grand boys ages 14,10 they had a super time
Folks this is the way to see the city we planned out our week and its so easy from the apartment. The apartment from our standards was perfect we live in the country with lots of space and not in a big city like NY so obviously city living was an adjustment but we felt completely safe at all times. Mandy suggested several local places to eat she was right on we enjoyed every one and had a starting point. We walked to the Village one night and ate at Johns pizza as well. Just a heads up many of these places to eat are cash only but the food is inexpensive unlike uptown. Katz deli is a few blocks away as are many breakfast diners. Best play we saw was Jersey Boys don't buy tickets before you go buy from discount places in the city or Brooklyn. In summary had a fantastic time looking forward to another trip back and we will try and book here again the host Mandy is so friendly and helpful. I did read one review about the bar next door but we never had an issue with noise the apt was clean and had everything we needed"

"We stayed in NCY for 10 days and the apartment ist great! The building has an elevator. There is enough space for 2 - 4 people. It's very close to the Iron Building and several subway stations. We had great food in Eataly just 2 minutes away and some nice dinners in Chelsa area!
Tonya was very nice and helpful and answered our questions very quickly! The correspondance with her during the booking phase was already very pleasant. I trusted her from the first moment we were in contact because she's very professional.
The concierge/caretaker is a very lovely, gentle and helpful Person and always courteous and attentive. He made us feel welcome and in good hands.
The area around the Iron Building is quite safe and calm.
The only little issue were the people above and beside us....little bit too noisy on the weekend. But it didn't bother us too much!
I can really recomend this apartment!
We will come back for sure!"

"A very nice, well-appointed apartment in a good quiet building and no street noise. Large living room with kitchenette and cozy bedroom. Building owner stopped by to say hello and make sure everything was fine. I have stayed here several times and plan to stay here again in the future. Also great neighborhood, convenient to restaurants, grocery stores, museums, and 10 minute walk to Lincoln Center."
