  • Great host and a wonderful experience!

"Stayed here while visiting my son who attends NYU. Wonderful experience with a wonderful host! He made the check-in super easy and quick. The apartment was beautiful and the neighborhood was lovely. I definitely took advantage of the shops, stores, and parks in the area during my stay here. The train was only 2 blocks away which made commuting very convenient for me. The sheets and towels that the host provided were all of great quality, which was perfect since I didn't have many towels with me! Next time I visit my son, I will definitely reserve this place again!"

  • Wonderful Location!

"Wonderful location! Within a block of The Surrey, The Mark, and The Carlyle. We have been here four times in the past four years and hope to make it a fifth time this year. It is quiet and secure. The furnishings are very tasteful and the apartment just feels comfortable! Lots of light and high ceilings. The bed is comfortable and even adjustable. The owner Denise was very friendly and responsive. The doorman was congenial. We feel at home here. The Metropolitan Museum of Art and Central Park are within easy walking distance as is our favorite food store in New York, Citarella five blocks away at Third and 75th. We were able to eat in with some of the best ingredients worthy of New York's finest restaurants. Or stroll just a block to one of our favorite restaurants Cafe Boulud. Taxis are easy to hail on Madison or Park, and the subway stop is only about a block away, but at this location so many sights are accessible on foot and we find ourselves doing a lot of walking, enjoying the feel of luxury New York on the Upper East Side. We would not think of staying anywhere else!"

  • Ideal Location- Exceeded Expectations

"Perfect room for our girls getaway (2 people). Well appointed and even the sleeper was comfortable. Close to shopping and great restaurants. We loved how safe and uncrowded it was. We walked to Frick Museum, Central Park and Bloomingdales. Vir was accommodating and responsive. Of note, you must climb two flights of stairs to get to flat."

  • Nice place in a great location

"Stayed here with my girlfriend and had a great time. Positives-Great location, several blocks from Central Park and one block from Subway. Very close to world class shopping, restaurants, etc. Area is very safe and well kept. The building and our room was very well maintained and the staff was friendly. Only cons were them charging $2.50 a day for wifi. I found that a bit tacky for a nice place like this. Also, the tiny ironing board drove me insane so drop the wifi fee (raise your rates $5-10 if you must) and get full sized ironing board and you will be perfect. Stayed in the Parlor room.....nice, quaint room. Got in at 9 AM and it was nice checking luggage in lobby vs dragging them all over Manhattan. Jim and Jen-Orlando, Fl"
