  • Long Weekend in Westerly for Niece's Wedding

"Great place. Very spacious and clean. Had the family and extended family. Everyone enjoyed themselves and had a great time. Denise was very gracious and easy to work with. Made our stay carefree so we could concentrate on the big wedding and having a great time. Would not hesitate to do it again."

  • All the comforts of home and than some...

"We spent a long weekend here in March. The weather was in the 40's and low 50's allowing us to enjoy walks on the stone and sand beach, This is a bay beach, so no waves and it is more stone than sand, but quite a view and very peaceful. If you like bird watching, this was a great location for watching winter ducks, so bring your binoculars. In a warmer season, this would be a great location for kayaking. The water and bridge views from inside the house are wonderful. The way my bed was situated, I could watch the lights of the bridge and the stars out my window at night. I hated to go to sleep. Mornings we spent lounging in the two large sunrooms enjoying the views and the coziness of the house. The house is 20 minutes from Newport and some might feel like it is removed a bit from the town. To us, this was a plus as the drive was easy and it afforded us the opportunity to explore the island on the way in or out of town. It's a great area to just drive down streets to see where they lead. Great views and beaches are throughout Middletown and Portsmouth. We were also only a couple minutes from Bristol and Tiverton over two separate Bridges. We enjoyed exploring both since we were so close. Both were charming. The Boathouse was a nice restaurant/bar in Tiverton with scenic views and good food, just a little pricey, but worth it. From the window there, you looked across the water to the peninsula the house is on. Four corners in Tiverton was a quaint little area with lots of art galleries and a great place for homemade ice cream called, Grays. Bristol has a great farmers Market Saturday morning at MT Hope Farm. You can get fresh eggs in assorted colors, really good fresh baked bread, jam, and seasonal veggies, etc. Although in March it was mostly root vegetables and it was inside a beautiful historic barn with live music. Also check out the Beehive Restaurant in Bristol a very quaint downtown on the water. All in all, the area is beautiful and fun to explore and this house feels like your home away from home. I am so glad we chose to stay here over a hotel in Newport. Plenty of room to spread out and all the comforts of home, and than some."

  • Beyond Expectation

"We rented this beautiful home for a vacation with my husband's teen-aged daughters and a couple of our friends. We all agreed (even the teens!) that this was a wonderful home. I have rented quite a few homes on Martha's Vineyard, and none of them compare to this amazing home. The decor, amenities, location and view are second to none. The home felt brand-new (but not sterile) and was very welcoming. The sunsets viewed from an adirondack chair on the deck were breathtaking. And if you like to cook, this kitchen will give you the urge to go home and renovate your own! If you are considering the rental of this home over another; think no more- pick this one!"

  • Elegant home in perfect location

"We really enjoyed our stay at this elegant home. The entrance was warm and inviting, the living and dining rooms were comfortable and maintained with the grace and style of the late 1800’s. Breakfast was delicious and well served. But most of all, the service related to our reservation with late arrival and timely breakfast allowed us to begin our day on schedule. The process was smooth and convenient. In the evening we were able to walk to downtown Newport to enjoy the sights, shops and restaurants. Then we walked back to the quiet neighborhood for a relaxing rest. Great job! I would definitely stay there again!"
