"The Last Chance Lodge is a beautiful log home perched on a mountain side. The owners Randy and Liz are great people to work with. Their place is so peaceful and relaxing. I could spend a week there and not leave. There's nothing quite like an evening dip in the hot tub after hiking all day in Spearfish Canyon or around Devils Tower. We saw numerous white-tailed dear in their yard on multiple days, pretty special! Deadwood is a cool city with lots of history. Lewies Saloon is a must for a beer and a burger. Cheyanne Crossing for breakfast, the best. There are so many things to in this area and the Last Chance Lodge is a great place to use as your home base. I would highly recommend you consider reserving your next visit to the Deadwood area here. You won't be disappointed."

"This home is beautiful and a perfect place to come back to after a long day of hiking, site-seeing, etc. We were in really close proximity to Keystone, Mt. Rushmore, Custer State Park, and more. We really enjoyed driving Needles Highway, Iron Mountain Road, and the animal loop. We got to enjoy Bear Country and were lucky enough to be there at the changing of the trees in baby bear land. Watching the bears discover their new "playground" was a treat. We also had an easy drive to Hot Springs and an afternoon at Evans Plunge. There is a wonderful pizza place just a few miles away (Lintz Bros Pizza). All the shops and restaurants in Keystone are a very easy drive away. The home owners were very inviting, they were willing to answer any questions, the homemade rolls were appreciated, and they made sure that our stay was comfortable. It was also nice to go back to a quiet place and hot tub at the end of the day. This is a wonderful place to get away for a vacation and had everything we could ask for in a vacation rental. The girls loved having their own space upstairs with nice rooms, their own bathroom, and a beautiful view. We highly recommend this property!"

"We started planning our Christmas reunion and my husband's 80th birthday celebration almost a full year ahead of time, with families arriving from CO, S.D. and N.C. Since we were a group of 27, this was the perfect house for us!!! There was plenty of room so we never felt 'over-crowded' at any time! The beds were very comfortable and the kids loved the bunk beds! The décor was especially a pleasure and we appreciated the Christmas trees as an added amenity! The kitchen is large and the two ovens and dishwashers especially came in handy for our Christmas dinner! The pool table got lots of use, as the whole family took part in our 'pool tournament', and everyone enjoyed time in the hot tub, even with the two feet of snow that fell while we were there! The views from the home are spectacular--we took our family picture on the spacious deck with the beautiful Black Hills in the background. Jarrod was very accommodating with any questions and also allowed us to check in early as we arrived in the Hills earlier than expected. Our whole family thanks you for sharing your lovely home and the everlasting memories our family made during our week long stay. We would highly recommend this home if wanting a special vacation in the beautiful Black Hills!"
