"We just returned from a wonderful stay at the Soco Bungalow. It was a great visit with our two kids visiting our two older kids who live only 5 minutes away. The road is busier than average but was not an issue of noise or safety, etc. Need a car for sure, but with GPS that is not a problem. The décor is very cool and the upgraded kitchen was very nice. The large island was a great gathering place. The weather wasn't great so we didn't get to use the back patio. There are many nice touches. The beds are very comfortable. The kids were happy to see there were some games to play. Tracey was great to work with! We arrived and the refrigerator power was out, but right away she responded to our call and we reset an outlet button and it kicked back on. Convenient grocery nearby and amazing food. Wonderful spot to meet up with our older kids before going out for the day."

"This property is absolutely fabulous! My boyfriend and I stayed here over Memorial Weekend in order to attend my sister's graduation ceremony from her PhD Program at UT. The location was ideal, as it was a block from her house, but also ideally situated for easy access to the downtown area. It's a quick walk to all the bars and restaurants, and it's close to the Hike & Bike trail. We enjoyed meals at both Z'Tejas and Clarks which are literally steps from the property. An Uber ride to the airport cost us $29 but only because a lot of the roads were closed when we were leaving so there was a lot of extra driving around. My guess is that it would have been about $17-20 max. In terms of location, you really can't find a better spot for this price.
Most importantly, the folks who own this property are awesome hosts. The transaction from start to finish has been a pleasure. Upon arrival to flat I found a nice bottle of wine and fresh flowers waiting within the positively IMMACULATE space. Fluffy towels, beautiful bedding, and a fabulous kitchen stocked with k-cups for having your morning coffee on the deck outside. Beautiful glassware and dishes stock the shelves, and the memory-foam bed is SO comfortable! As a previous reviewer said, technically this is a studio, but that description doesn't do it justice. The space is divided perfectly, and overall it was just the best place to stay. Without a doubt, we'll be back to Austin and won't be staying anywhere else."

"A a group of friends and I stayed here to celebrate my 40th birthday. Being a mom of 2 (one a newborn) it was the perfect place to stay. It was quiet, serene, and close enough to 6th street, which gave us an opportunity to get out. Place was well kept, clean and spacious enough to fit our group. Also, the homeowner was very pleasant and helpful with any of our questions or concerns. We will be going back the next time we can get Grandma to watch the kids."
