"We just returned from a weekend in Fayetteville for a rafting trip. 9 friends traveled in and everyone loved the place. Everything was in great condition and it lacked nothing. The owner/manager has thought of everything that you might need or want. The whole house was very clean and comfortable. Our entire group had private sleeping quarters without even having to spread to the smaller cabin. The house was only minutes from New & Gauley River Adventures who we rafted with so it is very convenient. Middle of nowhere but still near everything. We would definitely stay again in the future."

Great Location and Perfect Set-Up for a Large Group Stay on the Mountain
"We had a group of 13 staying for a long weekend at Snowshoe for skiing/snowboarding and other winter fun! We had plenty of space for our group and the convenience/amenities provided by this unit definitely contributed to the success of our weekend. We loved the ski/snowboard room at the back of the house, just by the entrance to the slopes. Having this space conveniently located by the back door, where we could get all suited up and ready to go without having to track snow/ice through the rest of the house, was outstanding! The hot tub was a great amenity and we cooked a big pasta dinner in the kitchen. The garage had been converted to a large room with 4 bunk beds, a sofa and tv with PS3 - this was the perfect room for the single guys on our trip, but I can imagine it would be a great room for teenagers travelling with a family as well. The downstairs even had a full bathroom with a shower which meant the guys didn't have to walk up 2 flights of stairs to get to a shower. The only complaint to our stay was that the hot tub was only around 55degrees when we arrived so it took until the 2nd day before it was warm enough to use."

"We had a wonderful experience. The owner was always prompt to respond to questions and was even so kind to purchase a crockpot for the condo for us to use. It was nice having dinner ready to go after a day on the slopes! We really appreciated him doing that so we didn't have to bring our own. Given that it was a holiday weekend, there were lots of people staying in the building itself so it was a little noisier than we would have liked. There's a 10 pm "quiet rule," but sometimes people don't abide by it. The condo is near the arcade but we never heard noise from that-just noise from people in the hall.
The condo's location is ideal. Very convenient to the Village, the pools, the provisions store and equipment rental. It was nice having a TV in the bedroom, too. The pots and pans weren't the best as the non-stick is starting to show wear, but I wasn't expecting high-end cookware. If you're a gourmet cook planning on staying a full week you may want to bring your own favorite pot or pan. Otherwise for a few days, the cookware is perfectly fine and almost everything you need is on hand. If you do cook and have leftovers, bring some containers for those. The owners seem to be very conscientious about keeping the place up and were absolutely wonderful to rent from! Tremendously helpful with information about the building, amenities, local interests, ski rentals, etc. You can tell they want you to enjoy your stay. We'll hope to stay there again and recommend it to others."

"Our family had a great time visiting Snowshoe mountain. The Bus service for getting around the mountain from Silver Creek was fantastic. Never had to get in the car once! The condo was very clean when we arrived and the bunk beds worked out perfectly for our kids. Our kids really enjoyed the indoor/outdoor pool area....they thought it was really cool to swim back and forth between the connected areas. If your looking for internet connectivety this is not the place for you....It was non-existent even when we try to connect directly but we survived....We found a few Wifi hotspot areas throughout the mountain so we could dowload videos to Facebook for our family and friends to see. It was also great to buy pass the front desk and go directly to our room upon arrival."
