About the host
Hosted by Erik Bindslev

Originally from the village of Aalbaek, now living more than 20 years in London where I have my business activities. While a global citizen, my heart very much belong to the beach where I grew up and the house which represents amazing moments of joy, Ndr. Strandvej 37
Why they chose this property
This house belonged to my late Godmother and Godfather Annie and Ole Olsen, my parents best friends. Having travelled and lived around the world for most of my adult life I longed to return to the beach of my childhood. In 2014 when the property and the house next to it came up for sale I bought both and created a wast, free space on the beach which I love.
What makes this property unique
Its mid-century which is a style I love, its layout enables it to host a lot of people while preserving the sense of privacy and calm. It's set in a huge private park to one side and woodland/dunes towards the beach to the east. The fireplace is my favourite in winter and the outside, covered patio is where I live in summer surrounded by friends.
