Lovely, characterful home in a beautiful part of Umbria. Within easy reach of sights like Perugia, Assisi, Montefalco but still feels like you are "away from it all". Very smooth check in, welcome etc. Good aircon and swimming pool too: both very helpful, as it was a heat wave when we visited!

We all enjoyed our fantastic Umbrian holiday at this lovely home. We appreciated the extra space and privacy so rented both units. Vittoria was warm and welcoming. The home is well stocked and furnished. We spent most evenings under the shady grape arbor and enjoyed the pool and air conditioned bedrooms during the heat wave. We especially enjoyed the cooking lesson and delicious lunch. The home is well situated for access to the many beautiful hilltop towns in the region. The gelato in nearby Torgiano was the best of the trip! Highly recommend this hilltop gem, beautiful views in a peaceful setting. We also appreciated the electric car charger for our hybrid rental. An added bonus.

Nydelig sted! Anbefales!

Huset, bassenget og utsikten var enda finere enn på bildene i annonsen. Vi hadde en fantastisk uke i Farmhouse Caprareccia. Vittoria var veldig hyggelig og hjelpsom. Vi fikk besøke det nydelige hjemstedet hennes og fikk omvisning av henne og Carmela i olivenmølla. Vittoria stilte også opp og ordnet for oss da utleiefirmaet vi hadde bestilt biler fra plutselig hadde stengt og ikke hadde biler til oss allikevel (vi var 10 personer og man MÅ ha bil der). Rett i nærheten er det mange fine små byer å besøke (og ikke så mange turister), samt vingårder med vinsmaking. Det tar 1,5 time å kjøre til kysten (Adriaterhavet). PS: Det er 2 ting i annonsen som ikke stemmer. Det står at det er sykler og treningsrom/-utstyr der, men det stemmer ikke. Men det er sykkelutleie i nærheten, og mange fine tur- og sykkelmuligheter rett bak huset. Vi anbefaler dette stedet på det varmeste :)

Our family of eight Umbria vacation at Lamontagnola!

We stayed at Casolare Caprareccia, a large dual sided farmhouse with beautiful grounds, swimming pool & stunning views. The house was lovely, pristine & very private.Vittoria, the owner was very accommodative & set up a cooking class for our group followed be a lunch at the Manor House & tour of the Olive Mill which processes the bounty from her Olive Groves. The house is conveniently located to take day trips to the numerous "Hill Towns" of the region including Assisi. There is the small village of Torgiano nearby which provided all our supply needs & our daily Gelato, The property & views far exceeded our expectations. We had a fabulous stay & would love to go back. What a find!! Thank you Vittoria & Carmella.

Abbiamo soggiornato presso il casale Caprareccia, nella tenuta La Montagnola, lo scorso weekend. Era l'occasione per riunire tutta la famiglia e per trascorrere qualche giorno insieme in relax. E' stato tutto meraviglioso! Il casale è bellissimo, entrambi gli appartamenti sono arredati con stile e sono estremamente accoglienti; gli spazi esterni sono semplicemente fantastici! I bambini (6!) hanno vissuto all'aria aperta tra giardino e piscina in totale libertà e sicurezza. Abbiamo trascorso la nostra vacanza nel migliore dei modi. Vittoria è una padrona di casa squisita e premurosa. Decisamente abbiamo eletto la tenuta come il nostro posto del cuore e vi torneremo non appena possibile, magari per più di un weekend.

Fantástico

Hemos estado 9 días en el apartamento azul de la caprareccia y ha sido fantástico, la casa tiene tres habitaciones con baño cada una y está situada en un paraje espectacular, la entrada es de película y la realidad supera la belleza de las fotos, tiene todo lo necesario para pasar unas vacaciones de ensueño y el trato ha sido bueno, lo recomiendo sin duda

Perfetto -- La Montagnola

We have stayed at La Montagnola four times now--and we will be back again I am sure! The property is just amazing--beautiful and peaceful, and the perfect place to relax after a day of traveling around the area. So much to see and do, so many wonderful villages nearby. Vittoria is the most wonderful hostess--she makes you feel like you've come home to paradise. The house is well equipped and has a beautiful setting. We cooked at home most evenings, and had wonderful lunches in Montefalco, Bevagna, Torgiano, Spello. Day trips to Florence, Orvieto, Todi and Siena were great. We enjoyed the cooking class with Vittoria and Carmela, and visiting Antonelli Vineyards and Caprai. We are so happy we found this little retreat, a perfect setting that we will return to again and again!
