Property is a basic North Country vacation camp structure.
Pluses include a very nice gas BBQ, large flat bonfire area with chairs and a stone firepit, and a huge, lighted lakeside deck. There are three bedrooms (one really tiny), plus overflow sleeping on a double futon in the living room.
Downsides: Very steep terrain, from the main road up to the parking area, and again from there up to the house. It's similarly quite steep from the road down to the lakefront. Mobility-challenged folks should look elsewhere. It might not be possible to carry a boat of any size down to the property's own lakefront (we drove to a public boat launch to put in our long two-person rowing dory).
Our casual fishing efforts yielded a good-sized smallmouth.
Some of the local eateries are closed, or are having difficulties, because of a lack of help (early August 2021) . We were able to find a good meal by calling around.
There was a cleanliness issue with some louvered windows. We found accumulations of bugs and webs between glass and screens.
Owner was very pleasant.
