Loved the apartment! It was so cute clean and perfect for our group of 7. It’s in a great neighborhood with shopping, restaurants and anything else you could need. Would recommend completely!!
Quiet, neighborhood location with easy walk to the train station. Groceries across the street. Washing machine plus drying rack was helpful. Elevator, although only big enough for one person with luggage at a time, saved a lot of steps. Very comfortable apartment.
This apartment, located just off via Merulana, is in a great location (walking distance to the Colosseum and the Roman Forum) and offers plenty of room for a group. Communication with the host and check-in were incredibly easy. There are plenty of dining options nearby and getting a taxi on the occasions you want to venture out beyond walking distance was simple with the Freenow app.
Property was as described. Very easy check-in. Very spacious and comfortable. Grocery store + the best Gelato very close. We were very happy with our stay.
Host was very accommodating and pleasant…
Close to everything we wanted to see… Nice cafe close to location.. The last day it was close to the train station !!
The apartment was just ok, not great but not terrible. Many pieces throughout the property like electric kettle, shower shelf and door, sofa were either falling apart or already broken for poor maintenance. The two queen beds were comfy and the AC worked great. Location was also close to the train station with many restaurants and cafes nearby.
Neighborhood close to the Colosseum, which worked well for us. Size of apartment, and variety and proximity for food was good. Communication with both owner and host.
Apartment was wonderful. Plenty of room for a family of 4 and then some. Marta was so helpful - there was an issue with the key working when we arrived and she resolved it quickly and checked on us a few times over our stay with whatsapp. Grocery store very close and good coffee/pastry bars nearby. Great gelato about 2 blocks away (don’t stop at the one on the same block - keep going another block beyond!) Close to Colosseum and Forum and metro is a 2 minute walk which takes you to all the main sights in 10ish minutes. Would not hesitate to stay again!
Great apartment conveniently located for exploring Rome
We travelled with 2 adults and 2 teens aged 17 and 16. The apartment had space for each teen to have their own bedroom, and the adults and teens could use a different shower. The apartment was very clean. The kitchen was well stocked. We were able to use the washing machine half way through our trip which was convenient. The location was great. Quiet street about 10 min walking from the Colosseum. Subway close by. Train station with the food market 10 min walk away. A great breakfast place around the corner. The manager met us on time and the instructions given before were on target (e.g. local taxes in cash etc.). A very good experience.
The layout of the property was perfect; 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room, kitchen. However, the property needs some maintenance. The shower heads in both bathrooms are broken and need replacement. I shower door just about fell off its runners. On one of the single beds a wooden slat was broken and laying on the floor. And finally, there is absolutely no place to hang anything. I don't want to give the wrong impression, but these items did distract from our stay.
Great apartment: clean, spacious, great neighborhood
A great VRBO property. 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms - full kitchen w/ dishwasher. On 4th floor; building has elevator. 10 min walk to St. Mary Major church and cab stand. Safe neighborhood - lots of restaurants, grocery is 5 min away. Special shoutout to Marta the property manager: fluent in English, very accessible and available thru WhatsApp texting; prompt answers to questions with lots of support
Great apartment in a great location. Lots of restaurants and a grocery store nearby. Easy walk. (with steps) to the Colosseum. Easy subway ride to the Vatican and Trevi Fountain area. Marta was very helpful and responsive. The apartment had everything we needed including very comfortable beds. The air conditioning was great and nights were very quiet. The apartment was a calm oasis in the summer tourist chaos of Rome! We were also able to miraculously find a free parking space across the street with Marta's advice! No negatives here!
Marta the manager was fantastic wonderful to work with accommodating all our questions and coming to the rescue with questions regarding use of washing machine. Also had an issue at the apartment with bedding and it was resolved the very next day.She also helped us secure a personal driver for pick up from airport to apartment which alleviated the stress with 6 travelers and all our luggage.Uber cars were also available within 5 min of requests so it is a great location . There is a great thin crust pizza place across the street from the apartment which was wonderful and convenient.
Our three generations of family stayed here for three nights in July. The AC was so needed for 100 degree days. The location made it possible to go back to AC at lunch and dinner time and refresh us all, especially the children. The beds were great. Nice and abundant pillows. Large TV for the children was helpful. We needed to cook some as it is easier with the children and cheaper so having a kitchen and large enough dining table was appreciated. Minor point: I found it odd that no dish cloth or dish towels or dishwasher detergent were provided, but we worked around that. A few cereal bowls would be nice to have also.
Pros: Marta (check in manager) was very helpful and nice, she booked us a taxi to and from the apartment and let us in earlier. The place is close to the Colesseum, a church, various restaurants, a market shop, and a train station. The apartment is nice and of good size, with 2 full bathrooms (helpful when there are various people), it has 3 good size bedrooms, and a nice living room. There is a washer but no dryer. Building has a small elevator, which is good if you have suitcases.Cons: extra comforter had stains, there was a dead bug inside a drawer in the bedroom where I stayed, and if you get cold easily (like me) the heater doesn't work very good. And do not forget there is still a city tax that you have to pay personally when you get to the apartment. YES! I would definitely stay there again if I went back to Rome. It is a very nice place..
Heading to Athens, we decided to go to Rome for a few days to catch some of the sights. The Coliseum is so close and restaurants are numerous, friendly and all very good. Be careful booking tours ahead of time because if you are late, you are out the money spent. We left early but the Metro was down so we had to walk 15 minutes to the train station to ride the bus. We were told the wrong bus, which left us off too far away to get to our meeting point in time. It was very disappointing to lose $500 with no recourse. Otherwise, Thai was a perfect location for us.

This was a clean, cute remodeled apartment and in a great location. I booked this apartment because it had two bathrooms, a clothes washer and an elevator. The bathrooms are right next to each other so no master suite bathroom which is common for older apartments in Italy. There was not dryer but there was a very small drying rack. It was humid during our stay so clothes and towels took forever to dry. A fan would have been helpful. Also they were very stingy with towels especially since they didn't dry by end of day if used in the morning. I would recommend this apartment. It was a pleasant stay. Hopefully the owners read this review and add a fan, larger drying rack and are more generous with towels.
