Hi all, thank you for booking my family condo through VRBO. Your booking time is 3:30
PM on the day you arrive, and departure from my condo 10:30 AM the day you are leaving. On the last day you can leave your luggage in your trunk and park your car down in the Sport Center parking lot or their overflow lot to continue to ski and leave when you wish.
I'm strictly a skier so I can tell you how to use Mt. Snow website for tickets and since Season's Condos are not affiliated with the mountain it is best to browse their site for passes. Be aware that the Carpathia right next door to Seasons Condo Resort is a full snowboard mountain. Check for snowboarding tickets there as well. My best tip for beginners is to leave all poles, skis in the family ski locker. Leave your ski boots in my foyer under the ski bench as the foyer was made for skiwear. Another helpful hint, when ready to ski do not follow the intermediate and advanced skiers down the path by the woodshed which goes to the main trail to the lifts. Do what I did when raising my 3 children, walk the driveway to the stairs behind Building M and meet your advanced skiers there, then head to the lifts. Another helpful hint: We have many eatery stations at the base near the main trail, so we have fun. Just enjoy yourself and everything on the slopes will fall into place. Promise me, you will take good care of my condo. Remember, NO Pets please. Too many of my house guests are highly allergic, and pet mom’s and dads have different definitions of well behaved.
Local shopping for ski supplies can get pricey, but they are impressive! There are places in Wilmington to visit, and a breakfast eatery called "Dot's, of Wilmington" right at the intersection on the passenger side, as you drive south on route 100. Wilmington has a few boutiques for fashion accessories, and a few stores for quilting and pottery.
I have a binder of local things to do once you are in my condo. If you go to Dots for breakfast or even the Sports Center, they can give you a heads up for shopping.
Directions to my condo. Follow the curving driveway over the main trail pass. You will pass my blue/grey building on the driver’s side. I am the middle condo M22. As you pass by M building you will see the entrance to the parking lot. Try to park as close to M building as you can. When you start to walk through the portico before entering the building, and my family ski locker will be on your left it is M22. The ski locker passcode I will text you. Use this ski locker for skis, snowboards, poles. You can enter my condo 2 ways, the first way: The key is found in the family ski locker which opens the front door or use the front door code which I will also text you.
As you enter, the foyer was set up for ski boots, jackets, gloves and hats. In the wintertime, please leave the windows closed. They are the property of the building. The cold makes closing a nightmare because they can freeze while open and will require maintenance to come with ladders to close them from the outside. Please tell children of all ages not to play with my blinds as new ones were just put into the living room and dining area. The heating units in all our condos are tiny Munchkin water heaters. Do not turn the water on for a shower and get sidetracked. There will not be enough hot water for the next skier in your family. It takes time to fill up. If you arrive and water is turned off, nothing is wrong. My cleaning service or maintenance may have come in to turn it off. We do this in the snowbelt to keep everyone’s pipes from freezing and bursting. Walk into the kitchen galley and open the laundry room door. The water valve is on your left. Turn the water valve quarter way only.
There is a coffee station for both pods and ground coffee. Bring your favorite coffee and snacks. Also bring your favorite creamers or whatever. For showers, bring your favorite soaps and shampoos, as well as a small bottle of favorite dish soap or dish washer pods. We have Wi-Fi, and the Base has it as well. Shop for gas and food staples in the 7/11 shop on route 100 or Shaw’s Grocery on route 9 in Wilmington.
Cleaning service comes between stays only so what she leaves for your family was counted based on the people you listed as coming. Do not forget 5 is the max because my condo is tiny. Please make do with towels and linens provided.
