One day in Athens

This was our first visit to Athens and was very short - no time to waste and important to have a comfortable place to relax and unwind after a long day exploring. The apartment was right in the heart of the city. Close to everything. Clean and comfortable for 4 people. Airconditioning worked well on a hot day. Helpful hosts. Cafes nearby were wonderful for breakfast and for dinner. Terrific local shops. We would happily stay again :)

Great location for access to sights for two seniors.

George was very clear with procedures and information. We tried one of his recommendations for dinner and were delighted with the care that was given us. Also got a treat by mentioning we were “friends of Spyros”.

Best place, Great location

The apartment and the location were great. We are 2 older couples and we rent a lot of VRBOs around the world and I'm glad to say that this unit and owner were great.

Excellent

Stayed here as a family of 5 in August 2024. Pre arrival communication was clear and complete . Superb location. 5 mins walk to Acropolis museum, subway stop and entrance to climb up to the Parthenon. Really close to a range of excellent restaurants but in a quiet spot. Apartment very spacious, we everything you would need. Clean. Happy guests.

Nice apartment

We were only there 2 nights so it worked out perfect. Only one shower so 4 adults had to share, but not a big deal. Beds were comfortable. We didn't spend much time in the apartment besides sleeping.

Safe and secured location! Highly recommended

We stayed for 3 nights and the location is perfect as mentioned on the property listing. Checkin/Check out instructions were clear and overall we had a wonderful experience.

Place to stay in Athens!!!!

Nice accommodations with great location

The apartment was nicely furnished and suited our travel needs very well. Location was great and easy to get to from the metro station. Very easy to walk to the Acropolis, with ~5 minute walk to get to the gate. Plenty of restaurants within 10 minute distance. Communication with host was perfect and they were very responsive. Highly recommend this location for a stay in the heart of the action in Athens.

Great location and host

Great location on a side street just a four minute walk to the Acropolis metro, so close to the action, but yet reasonably quiet. Spyros was a very responsive and helpful host

This is a nice place in a convenient location.

Everything was great except the apartment is one block from a popular sports bar. So bring ear plugs if you are staying on a weekend with a football match. The bars don’t close until 3. We were told there were two full bathrooms. There were 2 bathrooms but only. one full bath. Fortunately our friends canceled and it was just the two of us.

Superb in every respect

One could not ask for a better location in Athens for visitors and a more responsive and helpful host. The apartment was spacious, immaculately clean, with A/C kitchen, bedding, etc. and had many items we found most useful. I would definitely stay there again.

Great location!!!

We stayed in the property end of September, it’s a nice place with 2 bedrooms and in an amazing location. center of Athens has amazing restaurants, cafes in walking distance and train station etc. Cons for the price the place was not worth the value for money :( if you get it 100 euros than it’s ok. Also not clean balcony or any fresh air, can not open any windows or doors due to congested location also not maintained. The shower is really small so the water spills over. The checkin instructions was very confusing, many apartments on level 1 and 2 no clear marking for the apartment:( we had to put the key in all the apartments to figure out which one was correct. It’s on level 2 , this is apartment on the right. First 8 steps then go up 16 steps . There is a camera above the door. It will really help to put a board on the door:) . We were jet lagged so might have been more difficult for us.
