This property is managed by Vacasa Tennessee LLC.
This VRBO partner has demonstrated and is committed to fast response times, the best rates, and a great guest experience.
Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a websitecould be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
Overall we had a blast. The cabin is really beautiful, but definitely not as nice as we would have hoped. You can tell there wasn't a lot of attention to detail, and many things were done as cheap as possible such as the showers and bathrooms. The pool table was in really poor condition and cramped with the air hockey table that also did not work very well. The hot tub was definitely the star of the house, but again it was a smaller cheaper one.
The property, location, and everything inside the cabin was great, except for some minor issues, that maintenance was rite on top of .
There were 16 of us 2 being toddlers had plenty of room to spread out in .
When we arrived and entered the cabin, WOW ... but when you really 👀 around and.start checking things out, that’s when I noticed how filthy everything was ,believe me we took pictures the floors and rugs 👀 like they were never touched ,we swept up a big pile of dirt off the kitchen / dining room floor, the rugs under the tables in dining/living area 👀 liked they never were swept 🤔 .The glass top stove in the kitchen 👀 like it had never been cleaned ,the kitchen floor was so stickey when you walked a crossed it so you knew that was mopped either, food in the drawers ,dead lady bugs (LOTS) laying in ALL the window seals .They say they have a problem with ladybugs, but for the 5 nights we were there we seen 1 ,seen more big black ants 🐜 crawling on the floor ,than lady bugs 🤔
One of the bathroom shower curtains had about 5 inches of black mold around the bottom .
For such a beautiful cabin I would think that the owners /Vacasa would think the filth is totally unacceptable
I called house keeping they sent a lady over ,I showed her everything in question and she totally agreed, started doing a few things ,MOST of us left to give her some space to do her thing ,before you know it she got a phone call and left . Sooo my sister and myself were left to vacuum the entire cabin and get the dried on food off of the counters / cabinets ,not a great first impression for any of the house staff‼️So yes I texted the manager ,(who is to be over the house) and he passed me on to Shelly , he was out of town, don’t know if she’s head over housekeeping or what but thats what I was told and we were also told they do an inspection before guests arrive, well not that day or they would of seen what we seen.
So all in all after WE cleaned the cabin to what it should have been upon our arrival,we had a great time ‼️
Never did hear from housekeeping to see if everything was taking care of!
That’s why I only gave a 2 ⭐️ On review
PS : Should check out the sewer at the cabin, twice it was running out of the top and the smell was horrific ‼️
Family from OHIO
If your not fussy about cleanliness / or are willing to clean the cabin yourself , it was pretty filthy apon our arrival!<br />
I’m not exaggerating either!
We had a group of 16 for a baseball tournament. The cabin had plenty of room and was well stocked. We will definitely be returning in the future.
Loved the main living area -- with a full cabin it's nice to have enough space for everyone to be together in one room. Bedrooms were nice and kitchen was well equipped, though some of the pots had seen better days. Furnishings were comfortable and well arranged. It was a rainy weekend so we spent all of our time indoors, but greatly enjoyed this cabin and it's amenities!
