50 Burlington Mansions is our luxury ground floor self catering apartment. It has been fitted to a very high standard and is a real home from home.
The apartment consists of a spacious open plan lounge/kitchen/dining area, a large master bedroom with super king size bed (6 feet wide), luxury en suite shower room, a twin bedroom and a further luxury family bathroom.
The apartment has two dedicated car park spaces just 20m from the front door.
The comfortable lounge area has seating for at least six people, a Samsung smart TV, DVD player and a Bluetooth speaker. A flame effect wall fire creates a cosy atmosphere and an extra boost of heat in the cooler months.
The well equipped kitchen was completely refitted and upgraded in 2022. It comes with a built in double oven and microwave, induction hob, extractor, fridge, freezer, washer/dryer and dishwasher as well as the wide variety of cooking equipment you would expect to find in your own kitchen, including a Nespresso coffee machine. There is a dining table seating up to six people and a large island with four bar stools.
Both spacious bedrooms have fitted wardrobes and TVs. Both bathrooms were refitted and upgraded in 2024. The large en suite shower room to the master bedroom has a full width walk-in shower with both rainfall and hand held options. There's a large luxury double basin vanity unit with generous storage. The family bathroom has a large single ended bath with rainfall and hand held shower options over the bath. It also has a luxury vanity unit with generous storage.
The apartment, which has level access directly from the car park at the rear of Burlington Mansions, is just 500m from Boscombe Pier and seven miles of award winning sandy beaches, making it the ideal location for a family holiday and for those wishing to make the most of Bournemouth's many day and night time attractions in summer or winter. The communal sun terrace at the rear of Burlington Mansions is easily reached from the apartment and is an ideal spot to enjoy your morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening.

The apartment was clean, comfortable and very well appointed with a welcome basket bon arrival. The bonus was the fact that there were two off road parking spaces right by the property.
Beautiful apartment, everything and more had been thought of. Comfortable, quiet and a good location for a base to come back to at the end of the day. Would absolutely return.
In the light of the property description and a series of positive reviews, our expectations were high, and we weren’t even remotely disappointed. The apartment is well equipped, the beds are super-comfortable, the walk-in shower spacious and powerful. No corners have been cut anywhere.It also needs to be said that, both before and during our stay, communications with the owner were very easy; her responses couldn’t have been quicker or more helpful.
Excellent property, facilities, location to beach & boscombe town are great.

We stayed at a beautiful apartment it had every thing you could need within the apartment to make your stay home from home, We were made very welcome by Julia. The area is very good for reaching the beach on a short walk and also to reach Boscombe town centre. The area is also central to many places of interest.

This property had everything you could want. It was very clean comfortable and so suited us. I would recommend to anybody and I am sure we will return.
Property everything we required, having all the equipment we have at home if not more. Very comfortable furniture in all rooms including bedrooms. Close to beach with adequate eating out.

From the Minute we booked Julia could not have been more helpful early check in due to flight early the minute we walked through the door was fantastic Everything is just star beds bedding the accommodation location we will be back as our base now visting Family theres really no point looking elsewhere to stay as this is five star all the way Thank you Julia for all your help
We all loved this apartment, it had everything we needed. The huge walk in shower was amazing. The location was perfect, only a short walk to the beach and to the shops in Boscombe.
The owner, Julia, was so lovely to deal with. She answered all my questions very quickly and communications were great. We would love to stay here again.
Julia was very helpful and easy to contact from the start of us booking her apartment right through to our stay there. It is the first place we have ever stayed where my wife didn’t feel she had to do any cleaning in the kitchen and bathroom as soon as we arrived. Everything was very clean including bed linen on the very comfortable beds. The kitchen was very well equipped. Moreover, the apartment is situated near the beach and a lot of shops, so we didn't need a car to go in there.

You could not ask for a more complete apartment. We cannot think of anything that was missing. It is also in a prime location being only about 500 yards from the sea.

This property was exactly as pictured in the photograph’s which was perfect. Attention to detail in every area. The weather was lovely the week that we stayed which was an unexpected bonus. Super king size bed in main bedroom was so comfortable. Great that we had parking right outside. It meant that we were able to explore nearby towns without having to contemplate finding somewhere else to park. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend this lovely property.
There are no words to describe just how special this holiday home is. Julia is the perfect host and she has obviously put a lot of thought and effort into making the apartment extra homely and comfortable. The flat is spacious, modern and luxurious. It's a short stroll in either direction to the seafront (down a hill) and the shops and many restaurants. Primark, Aldi, KFC, McD's etc all within a 10 mins walk. Parking is only feet away from the front door. We loved staying here and we will return and soon. Thanks Julia.
It was a Little Dream.
The apartment is in an old converted hotel. It’s a very modern and furnished with attention to detail. In addition to the washing machine, which is also a tumble dryer, there is an iron and ironing board, but everything else for daily life is also available.
The apartment is very centrally. It takes 5 -7 minutes to the beach and is in the city at the same time.There are many opportunities to shopping, but also a few small restaurants.
Last, but not least, the loving landlady. She was always available and always on hand.

Die Wohnung ist neu, wunderschön gestaltet und perfekt ausgestattet. 2 super Bäder. Eine tolle Küche mit mehr Ausstattung als man sich vorstellen kann. Und zusätzlich waren auch Öle (evtl. von Vormietern), Gewürze und viele nützliche Kleinigkeiten vorhanden. Besser geht es nicht. Die Matratze des Doppelbettes könnte fester sein, das war das einzige Manko. Aber der Kontakt mit Julia war sehr nett und so perfekt und liebevoll wie die Wohnung gestaltet ist, wird sie das sicher noch verbessern. Einen direkten Außenbereich gibt es nicht, aber ein paar Meter weiter ist eine große Terrasse, die man nutzen kann. Der Strand ist klasse und gerade in Boscombe nicht so überlaufen als in Bournemouth direkt. Die Küste an sich ist wild und abwechslungsreich.
The apartment was absolutely beautiful and clean. Everything was top quality! The property manager was so lovely and went out of her way to make everything perfect. 2 parking spaces really close to the property. Perfect for my elderly parents because everything was ground level.

From the first glance of the publicity bumph, contact with Julia the Host, arriving at Burlington Mansions and entering the apartment it is clear the standard is high. Beautifully furnished and equipped to the highest standard, every wish, want and whim catered for. The place is so comfortable and a great space to relax. Great location - close to the town, walks and cycle paths. So much on offer all on the doorstep - we didn’t use the car all week, but cycled for miles. Having two dedicated parking spaces, outside the front door is such a bonus for loading and unloading. Beds and bedding comfortable, along with towels, robes and bathroom facilities. Will happily recommend to friends and family and would stay again. All positives and not one negative - even a niggle.
Really lovely ground floor flat with level access and no one above so it's very quiet. Very handy car parking space right near the door. The flat is accessed straight from the car park so no need to go through other doors or past other flats. It's very well stocked with everything you could possibly need in the kitchen and bedrooms. There are towels and dressing gowns and blankets and games and books and loads of DVDs, even things for the beach. It's about a 5-10 minute walk down to Boscombe beach, but it is a hill. There's not a great deal to do in Boscombe but the beach is lovely and there are some nice beachside bars. You can walk to Bournemouth in about 30 mins but there is a road train. There are shops in Boscombe but it's not a pretty seaside town, just a regular town centre away from the beach.
Would very highly recommend staying in this flat, couldn't fault anything! The interior design feels quite luxurious and it was spotlessly clean.

My family and I have holidayed in many rentals - both in the UK and overseas - over the years and think we know what makes a great self catering place to stay - both as a couple and with a young family. We've put all of our energy in making this apartment the most welcoming, hassle-free and comfortable holiday rental you will stay in.
Why they chose this property
Bournemouth is a great place for a family holiday. I first came here as a 16 year old on a family holiday and I wish I could have told my 16 year-old self that I'd have my own place here one day! The beaches are clean and sandy and the sea is sparkling and inviting. Our lovely apartment is just a short walk to Boscombe Beach and Pier and we love staying there whenever we get the chance. We've set it up as our home from home (but without the clutter!) so you won't feel like you are staying in a sparse and cheerless holiday rental.
We have large Marks & Spencer sofas in the lounge - long enough to get your full stretch on if you like to relax horizontally in front of the TV.
The kitchen has all of the equipment to rival your kitchen at home if you like to stay in and cook for yourself but we also have some great restaurants within a short walk and slightly further afield and lots of food delivery options to the door if you can't be bothered to do either!
If like us when our kids were younger, you all end up in the same bed, our super king size bed means you'll all have enough room and the blackout blinds in both bedrooms mean you might even get a lie in!
We love the sociable layout of the living space meaning that you can all be doing your own thing but can continue a conversation at the same time. When our kids were younger and engrossed in something on TV, we would sit at the island with a glass of wine (or rather I would do that while my husband made dinner!). We have more DVDs than you'll ever have time to watch when you want to snuggle down under some of the throws and snooze.
Our two car park spaces are just outside the apartment so no long walks with sleepy children, shopping or luggage.
We love our apartment and you will too. Most of our guests stay more than once. We have only met a handful but it always feels like we're welcoming old friends back and for our guests it feels like returning again and again to their own home from home.
What makes this property unique
Maybe not unique - but this is what we love about our apartment... ...if you listen carefully, you can hear the waves on a stormy day ...the cry of the seagulls reminds you that you are at the seaside ... the peace and quiet ... the ability to walk down to the beach and for miles in either direction without needing the car ... the big skies ...how quickly the apartment warms up and stays cosy on cold days ... our big bed ...our lovely new kitchen
