The home and location on the lake was fantastic. The only negative was the walk from the street to the house: difficult for older people. However we would do it again

Villa Laglio

There were many great features about Villa Laglio even if it wasn't the most modern-style of holiday homes! There were great lake views from most of the rooms and the kids loved the wacky mosaic flooring! The sunny lakefront terrace and garden provided us with a really excellent venue for daytime chilling and alfresco dinners. Laglio was a very picturesque village within easy reach of Cernobbio and Como. I would recommend a car because the bus service isn't all that frequent and it was fun for us just to get in the car and go explore! There were some great restaurants which we loved and Como city was great for shopping, sightseeing and for taking the scenic tram upto Brunate. There were also fast tain links to Milan from the city. Laglio was perfect for our family because we were looking for a tranquil spot to enjoy family time together. The central lake attractions weren't that far away; about 20 minutes drive. Just note that the parking is a few metres from the villa entrance. Thanks for letting us stay, we had a great time!

Kaupat ja ravintolat puuttuu

Vanha talo aivan järven rannalla. Tikkaat uimaan haastavat. Kaupat ja ravintolat kaukana, ei pärjää ilman autoa. Muuten Como-järvi ja sen ympäristö aivan upea.

Excellent location, large property - a bit of tired property but we enjoyed ourselves

Spent 5 nights here with our party of 9. The place is situated quite ideally - not too far from Como but also far enough way to enjoy the quiet. The house is adequate and probably fine for the price paid. It is a bit tired and dated and lacks A/C but the whole group loved the views, the breezes off the lake and the spacious nature of the place. The only really disappointing aspect of the book was the actual interface with the management company at Lake Como Holiday. Had sent a bunch of emails to them about places to eat, boat rentals, etc. and they pretty much took months to get back to me and by the time they did respond the recommendations were pretty meaningless. It wouldn't stop me from booking this house but I would just not count on any real support from Lake Como Holidays.

Amazing location with direct lake access (not very easy to get in and out for young or old) and a stunning plot of land with much privacy (again, access down a steep path may not suit all ages). The house is full of private mementos and oozes passt greatness. Charming, even if in need of a little TLC. Communication with the agency works like a charm, Evan on a Saturday when all fuses have blown while operating oven and fridge (one has to be reasonable…). We loved it and would go again, if it wasn’t quite so expensive.

Amazing villa, location, and support

We had an amazing stay at Villa Laglio for a large group while in town for a wedding. Would recommend for large groups or anyone looking to enjoy Lake Como away from the crowds in a more relaxed settting. Thank you to the hosts for everything!

August 2017 We are a group of friends from all around the world who got together and had an awesome time in your villa. The location and view were amazing with the huge green space around the house. The villa itself was very comfy and had everything we needed. All that made our stay at Lake Como an unforgettable experience. Attached are two snaps: "Enjoying great views" and "the villa from a boat". We also would like to thank Elisa, Viviana and George from the local office in Menaggio in particular for their help and assistance. We are looking forward to staying in another of your houses. Thank you for letting my family stay in your beautiful villa this summer, we've all had a really wonderful time! The villa had some beautiful lake view rooms and offered some really delightful period features, including wacky token marble flooring! The lakefront gardens were great for alfresco dinnig and daytime relaxation too. We found Laglio very convenient for reaching the golf and Como city attractions by car. The villas of the central lake were also very nearby! HHH were so brilliant at arranging a private boat tour for us and our dinner reservations. Thank you for a truly memorable time!

Wow! What a great vacation we've had on Lake Como! Our villa was so spacious and friendly. Lots of great lake views and perfect for the summer time. Laglio was so great for reaching the central lake activities and golf also. We also had a seaplane trip from Como! Lake Como was such a beautiful place and the golf at Villa D'Este and Menaggio & Cadenabbia was really some of the best!

Villa Laglio

Villa Laglio was a really beautiful place for us! The quiet lakeside gardens offered us a really restful spot for us. Laglio was so pretty and we enjoyed dining out a lot during our holiday. We were a total group size of 12 and we found it very perfect for us to sleep in this villa. The accommodation was very nice and homely! Thanks so much Happy Holiday Homes!!
