Casa Rodríguez es una finca de lujo frente al mar ubicada en el tranquilo Mar de Cortés de México. Construida como una finca exquisita, destinada a ser compartida con sus seres queridos en el corazón del tranquilo pueblo costero de El Cardonal, Casa Rodríguez ofrece una playa de arena virgen, agua azul cristalina, piscina infinita, jacuzzi, tres grandes palapas, bar en la piscina. y amplias zonas de estar y comedor al aire libre. La finca total, dispone de 6 habitaciones con 6 1/2 baños. La finca cuenta con espacios de vida dramáticamente abiertos con vistas espectaculares del mar vivo. La Casa tiene abundantes actividades y relajación privada, todo combinado en un lugar verdaderamente hermoso y sin tocar. Los Barriles, la ciudad más cercana está a unos 30 minutos en coche.
Casa Rodríguez cuenta con un personal amable y servicial que está a su servicio. Vicente es su cuidador y capitán de barco en el lugar para llevarlo a pescar o hacer una excursión ecológica. Lupita ofrece el servicio de limpieza diario de la Casa. Homar proporciona transporte desde el aeropuerto hasta la casa. Su flota de furgonetas transporta hasta diez personas y equipaje. También puede llevarlo a una variedad de excursiones a lo largo del área de East Cape. Nuestro personal es su conserje. Ellos lo recibirán en la propiedad y coordinarán cualquier solicitud especial o necesidad durante su estadía en la Casa.
Recomendamos La Hornilla de Adriana para todos los servicios de catering. Adriana hace un trabajo maravilloso preparando auténticos desayunos mexicanos, almuerzos y cenas tradicionales, así como "loncheras" para un día en el mar. Hay menús disponibles para su referencia, pero tenga en cuenta que Adriana se complace en recibir solicitudes especiales. Ella habla muy bien inglés. Se pueden organizar espectáculos de mariachi bajo petición.
La casa ofrece 4 kayaks, máscaras, esnórquel y aletas en una variedad de tamaños. El agua a menudo es tranquila, incluso segura para los niños y con frecuencia hay abundante vida marina. What a special place

All I can say is “Wow.” We had an absolutely incredible time. Our family of 15 just loved this property. The pool sitting right off the beach was over the top beautiful and serene. Like others have said…the whole place is even better than the pics show. There are SUPs, kayaks and snorkel equipment which were added bonuses. We loved watching the rays jumping in the sea and grilling our pounds of fish each night outside. Vicente was such an awesome boat captain. We fished 2 of our 4 days but will add more days next time because it was epic! Lupita did a great job with the house cleaning. We really enjoyed getting to know them both. We used Homar, who they recommend, to get us to and from the airport and he was very reliable. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this place. We are already planning our next stay!

Family reunion

We loved the nice bedrooms with baths. We used the SUP and kayaks every day. The pool was great but would have liked complementary hot tub! Good selection of pot’s and pans but Left over containers are very worn. If we come back we will come here again!

The property is beautiful, exactly as pictured. All the appointments are first class. We used the La Dona team for caring and every meal was a surprise and a delight!We had a slight problem with the Jacuzzi and pool heater but Vincente and Samuel worked religiously to get it repaired. Vincenete is the supreme Captain and fishing guide and we were thrilled with our catches of Yellow and Blue Fin Tuna, Grouper,Red Snapper, Trigger Fish and Needle Fish. We had fresh caught oyster for dinner. Vincent and the girls did a fabulous job with the fresh fish. They were al around pros! Lupita kept the house shining for us every day, even folding our laundry and freshening up our rooms. We had an absolutely amazing time. The location and the beach are simply exquisite. We came to relax and unwind and that exactly what we didIt was fabulous and we look forward to another visit. We saw schools of literally thousands of rays, saw several whales and felt as if we'd been whisked away to paradise.

Fantastic family getaway

The property is amazing! Excellent location at edge of a tiny, walkable fishing village. Everyone we met was incredibly kind and helpful. The house is WAY nicer than the pictures suggest and we felt VERY comfortable - plenty of space for 3 teens and 7 adults! The home is situated ideally on a quiet beach with comfortable lounge chairs, shaded and sunny areas. We really enjoyed the kayaks and paddleboards. Kitchen setup was terrific for 3 teens and 7 adults, and we got catering brought in a few times (all easy and excellent). Also enjoyed Restaurante El Cheff! There is an extra fridge and freezer in the garage. Supplies are well-stocked. We loved the 4 comparable master suites, plus an ensuite (and another room plus hall bath). Loved the balconies for quiet time. We enjoyed excellent, easy fishing with Vicente, and Lupita kept the house tidy. We would DEFINITELY rent this again and hope to do so, soon!

A VERY Special Place

I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Just magnificently appointed, great pool, beach, rooms, kitchen, staff, great places to eat nearby, easy transportation, great fishing.We only had a couple minor issues that got pretty much fixed. The heater went out on the pool, and we lost a couple of days of pool heat. there were a couple cleaning issues, but Samuel took care of that right away.

Early Christmas

We had a lovely stay with 14 of us. Family reunion before Christmas! The house is amazing plenty of space and amenities to keep everyone happy. We opted to heat the pool and hot tub and it was fabulous for the young kids as it was very windy the week we stayed, ocean swimming wasn’t an option. The location is remote but worth it for the ability to unplug and just be with your loved ones! We loved Andrea’s she catered In multiple times for us and the pizza place was also a huge hit for a casual night under the stars with games and good food! Thanks for having us!!!

Better than expected

Truly enjoyed our stay. Pool, Beach and plenty of room for our group of 10. One bedroom went unused! The Casa is more impressive than the pictures on VRBO or the welcome material received after booking. We found the catered meals by Adrian's were timely, Delicious and plentiful. Unfortunately we discovered Dona's restaurant on our last days there and would have loved to more opportunity to utilize her kitchen for catering. Vicente is welcoming, knowledgeable and very helpful. If we choose to return to this area we would defiantly choose Casa Rodriguez!

Hands down the best!

This is our 3rd time staying and it never disappoints! Everything is absolutely perfect! If you have an infant or elderly traveling with you, this is the perfect place! I have never felt more safe in a location or vacation home ever. The staff is perfection and there to help at a drop of a hat! I have nothing but good things to say about Casa Rodriguez and the staff! The town itself is tiny and so welcoming! Everyone is so nice! I will elaborate on how safe this town is too. I have never felt uncomfortable or unsafe, day or night. The local bar and the owner is phenomenal! The local restaurants (all of them) are so efficient, kind, and so tasty! We will for sure be back next year for another wonderful vacation.

Family vacation

We had a fabulous time at casa rodriguez!!! It was my husband’s 60th birthday celebration…we had 4 adult daughters with husbands and 4 grandchildren 7,5,3,1…INCREDIBLE FISHING!!! Vicente is amazing and so is his ceviche! Adriana catered 2 delicious Mexican buffet dinners…we hope to be back next year!

The Best

Our family of 10 (6 adults + 4 children, ages 7-11) celebrated my husband and my 50th wedding anniversary. We loved the house (including Vicente!), the nearby restaurants, the area, and the activities, which for us included swimming, paddle boards, fishing, renting ATVs, and walking to nearby restaurants. Samuel, Vicente, Lupita, and Homar were immensely helpful in making our visit a 10+.

A slice of heaven in a slice of heaven.

This was our second stay in the area of El Cardonal, the first time at this property. The property description really does not do the property justice. Basically, you are renting a small, luxury hotel, complete with private swimming pool, hot tub, and equipment. Everything about the finish is top notch. One of the best perks is that there are four equally appointed master bedrooms, two on the bottom floor, and two on the top, and so adult couples sharing the property can do so equitably, and no one is relegated to second rate accommodations. The place is huge, with lots of different usable area, so you can have lots of private time away from the other guests if you want. The only gripes we had were hot water was out due to pilot light being out when we got there, promptly solved. The dishwasher does not work well (it would seem to be a cheap upgrade for an otherwise highly luxurious property), and some of the dishes are oversized and do not fit in, but the cleaner, Lupita, who comes everyday nullifies a lot of that. For the uninitiated, El Cardonal is a fantastic location. There are enough tiendas and restaurants and catering available to make live varied and comfortable, but super small, local, and minimal tourist bustle. The most you are going to see is a few quiet gringos on some 4 wheelers, and about half of those live there full time. There is a new fresh fruit and veggie stand that just opened that really elevates the quality of fresh food available.

Over The Hill Celebration

I took my family and close friends to Casa Rodriguez for my 40th birthday and I was the most amazing time. We had six kids with the two of them being babies. The house was perfect for all of us. Samuel was great and was always there for us when we needed something. Vincent is an amazing Soul and he knows what he is doing out on the water. You have to go out at least one time fishing with him. We catered most meals from Adriana and WOW!!!! She makes the best food. There is nothing we would have changed about our trip to Casa Rodriguez and we are already planning our next trip back. Thank you to all the staff for making my Birthday a memorable one.

Most amazing house ever!

This was our second time staying at Casa Rodriguez and we will be going back every year! Everything about the stay and the house and the people were to perfection!! The nearby restaurants were so great too. I would recommend getting the atv to have at the house to drive to the restaurants and grocery store. Very handy. Vicente is AH-MAZ-ING and Samuel is forever on the spot with any question you have. I can’t say enough good things. Thank you Casa Rodriguez for another great stay! See you next year!

Beautiful remote property/location, quiet & relaxing.

This gorgeous property is like having your own private resort! We loved being right on the beach with an infinity pool, hot tub, swim up bar and many areas to gather and relax. The cost of heating the pool and hot tub came as a bit of a surprise to us, so if you want either or both heated, know there is an extra fee. We absolutely loved that the entire side of the house opens up to the ocean so even when you're inside, it's like you're outside. The extras that are provided with the house are great; snorkel gear, lots of beach towels, kayaks, stand-up paddle boards, beach & pool toys, etc. There is a reef about a mile down the beach that is great for snorkeling – take advantage on a non-windy day! The owners send you an entire document of information after you book, which is extremely helpful. It includes info on transportation, things to do, places to eat, catering options, and intro to all the INCREDIBLE staff that you can contact prior to your stay, as well as your entire time there! In hindsight, our group would have taken more advantage of the catering, as it was priced right and more convenient than walking to a restaurant. If interested in outings, I would highly recommend having some kind of rental (car or ATV) around for the week for those moments that you might want to leave the property. Although, as proof above, no need to – it’s amazing!

Great stay at Casa Rodriguez

This was a great spot for three families with young children. The house is great. Really spacious and in wonderful condition. We were happy that there were 4 full en-suite “masters”, which made figuring out how to split bedrooms really easy. The pool and beach situation can’t be beat. Great that the property has kayaks and paddle boards available. Vicente (caretaker and fishing guide) was awesome. We loved eating our fresh catch. Made ceviche and grilled fillets for dinner! Samuel (concierge) was really responsive and helpful.

Relaxing week

The house is very well maintained. There are little extras that make the stay more comfortable. The staff was amazing and very helpful. The week we stayed was a bit colder and extremely windy so we couldn't use some of the outdoor amenities and water sport equipment which was readily available. We did choose to heat the outdoor pool and hot tub (no jets), if we didn't we wouldn't have been able to use them at all. We catered a few meals in and ate out locally the entire week. Everyone in the small town were pleasant and welcoming, especially La Dona and Adrianna's. We visited both restaurants and both catered in one night. The food was authentic and very good. We had a clean house and fresh towels everyday, Samuel was happy to shop for and deliver to us for a nominal fee. We had a few that liked to fish, there was only one day they were able to fish due to the high winds but they caught an abundance of fish which we enjoyed at home that evening. Homar the driver was great and available when needed. Transportation is expensive, I assume due to the high price of fuel and the distance the house is from any town. Overall, it was a fun week despite the weather. Everyone enjoyed!

The staff at Casa Rodriguez are all phenomenal! Samuel was so helpful before our trip in answering all our questions and providing resources. Homar was wonderful in providing rides. In addition to airport transfers, we had him take us to La Paz do some tours and even Cabo Pulmo to dive and it was less expensive than renting a van for the week. The food from Adriana was some of the best Mexican food we have ever had (definitely suggest the Mexican buffet every night). She was able to provide an awesome variety of dishes. Ask her to bring flan one of the nights! BEST EVER! Vicente did a great job taking us out fishing and being available should we ever need anything. And Lupita kept everything clean during our entire stay. The house is in a great location if you're looking to be a little further outside of town. Not many people walking up and down the beach, kayaks and paddleboards to take out on calm waters, and a pool and hot tub right at the edge of the sand. If you're there in December, paying for the pool and hot tub to be heated was definitely worth it. We made a stop at the grocery store in Los Barrilles on the way in and purchased food for breakfast and snacks. Adriana provided dinners and we had enough left over for every lunch. We rented ATVs and RZRs from Sergio ATV (highly recommended) and it took about 40 minutes each way to come and go into town. It's a really beautiful drive on a dirt road right along the water's edge. Definitely recommend driving up the wash just before Los Barilles to La Cienega waterfall and pool. It's a fun drive that starts on sand and then turns into driving over a few inches of water before you reach the falls. Side note on the house: Some of the beds are a little harder than others, so if that matters to anyone in your party, be sure to check it out before everyone gets settled in their rooms.

Incredible remote Baja experience

Everything in the listing that we hoped would be as good as pictured was even better in person. Clean house & great services on the property. Great location for paddleboarding, kayaking, fishing on the bay and ATVing to secret beaches along the coast. A lot of memorable "firsts" for our family and friends. As the location is remote, the power did go out during a lighting storm one night but was restored the next day and Vincent was helpful and communicative throughout as he hooked up a generator to keep the basics in the house running. Nothing but good things to say about booking this amazing house for a big group of family and friends.

You can always play all day and return to soak away the excitement in one of the Jacuzzi tubs.
