ABOUT THE HOUSE The 3,000-square-foot Bray Hill House was designed by the architectural firm Mirski and Associates. Patterned after the turn-of-the century New England shingle-style houses of the area on the exterior, the spacious and completely modern interior boasts an amazing array of custom features throughout, mid-century modern furniture and an eclectic assortment of artwork. The Bray Hill House was custom-built to take advantage of its spectacular mountain setting, with impressive views of three mountain ranges and the Mount Washington and Connecticut River Valleys, and overlooking the small town of Jefferson. Our home’s prime location in the heart of the White Mountains of northern New Hampshire gives our guests easy access to all of the region’s many activities and attractions.
STYLE NOTES Country contemporary with a stylish vibe in a secluded and private location, this is a light, open, playful but functional home with sophisticated touches, like the unusual lilac-colored stair and balcony railings, floating staircase, and awesome double chimney fireplace. The stained glass elements in the home’s gable sparkle when the house is lit up at night. Bright accents throughout add pops of color to the home’s neutral palette. The home’s lower level is all about sociability with plenty of space for families, friends, kids and dogs to mix and mingle, cook and eat, while the upper level provides quiet spaces for sleeping, reading and quiet conversations. French doors, multiple windows and the spacious wraparound deck bring the gorgeous views right indoors.
BEDROOMS Located on the second level with beautiful views of the natural beauty outside, the home’s three bedrooms comfortably sleep 6. Each room is outfitted with a queen size bed with luxury linens and pillows, two roomy dressers and large closets, along with all the essentials you need for a carefree stay: shampoo and conditioner, soaps, bath and hand towels, hair dryer, iron, ironing board and more. The master bedroom features an en-suite bath with jetted tub and a private, enclosed porch; the other bedrooms share a separate, full bathroom. A third bathroom is located on the main level.
CHEF’S KITCHEN AND DINING The chef’s kitchen is equipped with both an Aga and Jenn-Air range and a Subzero refrigerator/freezer. The large center island and surrounding countertops provide plenty of prep space, and an army of small appliances — KitchenAid stand mixer, automatic rice cooker, drip coffee maker, electric kettle, Instant Pot and more — stand at the ready. Pull up a chair at the breakfast nook at one end of the kitchen for a meal with a view, perch on the stools at the wet bar adjacent to the kitchen for a drink or a snack, or gather family and friends around the formal dining room table with seating for 6-12.
CUSTOM TOUCHES The home’s dramatic focal point — the stunning see-through, brick, double-chimney Russian fireplace — is a fine spot to warm up on a chilly day. Perfect mountain getaway that offers privacy, lots of amenities and is centrally located to area attractions. Israel and his father are fantastic hosts and were very responsive to any need which arose. We have already booked for next summer!
This was our fourth straight year staying at the Bray Hill House and every time it is perfect. The property is always immaculate, Israel makes everything easy and there is so much care and attention to detail dedicated to guests. We cannot recommend Bray Hill House enough, you cannot find a better place to enjoy a vacation in the mountains in any season.
We came to celebrate our anniversary and see the foliage. The views from the decks were amazing and the house was impeccable. Every detail of the house is so unique and well thought out -- we spent more time at the house than we'd planned because we enjoyed it so much. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the deck for sunrise and an almost full moon and stars at night. We enjoyed using the sauna as well. We definitely hope to be back!
Beautiful property perfect for pets and kids. Had everything we needed. Super quiet and remote but close enough to stores if we needed. Can’t wait to come back
We had a wonderful stay at The Bray Hill House. Israel, our host, left us a welcome bottle of wine and treats. The house is spotless and the view is incredible. This was our fourth stay and we hope to come back for a fifth in the future. Thank you for thinking of every detail! The Malioneks - Newburyport, MA.
We love staying here. It was clean and with all the utensils to prepare food which my wife and my friends wife love it. It’s has very beautiful view from the deck. We really enjoyed staying there.
Peaceful, relaxing stay in beautiful area of NH. Everything was perfect: kitchen well-stocked, furnishings are comfortable, rooms are spacious, and the views are extraordinary. When we had a questions, owner was very responsive.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Bray Hill House. The house is beautiful, the views are stunning, and the thoughtful touches - including a dog bed, well-stocked kitchen, and snowshoes - made for a memorable and relaxing trip. We look forward to returning soon!
Our best stay in the Whites!! We were awestruck when we first arrived at the Bray Hill House as the views were more beautiful than expected. The design and structure of the house was impressive with large windows taking advantage of the panoramic views. Our host, Israel, was fantastic. He thought of everything that one would need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen had all the amenities that we needed. We ate at the house every night while taking in the spectacular views from the large deck. The Bray Hill House has set bar high!!We definitely plan to stay again! Thank you, Israel and family!
It's a beautiful house with amazing views. The house was well stocked and the ping pong table in the heated garage was a big hit!

Thank you John! We don't advertise our game room that much but between the darts, ping pong table, snowshoes, sleds and lawn games there is something that most guests can enjoy.
We had a wonderful time. The view of the mountains is stunning. We were close to many wonderful hikes and there was plenty to do even when it rained. Highly recommend.

Please treat our family home as you would your own and leave it in the same or better shape than you found it. We started building our family summer home in 1996, we hope you enjoy it as much as we do. We are sure you will love many things in our home; be sure to leave them as you found them.
Why they chose this property
Bray Hill is uniquely situated in the beautiful undeveloped upper Mount Washington Valley with spectacular views of the region but more importantly it is both centrally located and private at the same time making it perfect escape and base for your stay in the White Mountains. On the top of a hill at the end of a dead end, the entire property is yours for enjoyment and relaxation. Relax, cook dinner with the family, build a campfire, curl up and read, whatever you do you can do it in private and surrounded by the beauty of nature.
On the other hand it is ideally located to make day trips to all of the area attractions. Littleton and it's great boutique shopping and dining are 25 minutes away. Crawford Notch and Bretton Woods are 30 min. Franconia Notch and Cannon Mountain are 35 minutes away. Pinkham Notch, The base of Mt. Washington and Wildcat Mountain are 50 min. You will be away of the hustle and bustle of North Conway and Laconia but easily able to make a trip should you want to. In total there are seven great ski mountains within an hour of the house.
What makes this property unique
High end, extremely private and wooded property. Separated from neighbors by distance and geography of the hill. Surrounded by Nature and Beauty with all the modern conveniences and comforts of home. Easy to relax. Great kitchen for preparing family meals and for enjoying the company of others from the bar or nook while you cook.
