Wonderful villa

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at this lovely villa. Renata was so helpful and accommodating. It was the perfect place to stay, close to the town of Lucca, but yet away in the countryside. If we come back, we would definitely enjoy staying there again.

Relaxing Villa - great location

We really enjoyed our stay here. Easy check in and check out process and the location was great. It was quiet and relaxing. Nice restaurants nearby. Plenty of information provided if you're looking for activities nearby. The furniture in the living room could use a little refreshing/cleaning otherwise it was the perfect Italian vacation! We felt like locals. :-)

We had wonderful 3 weeks at Villa Viola. The house and the garden felt like a second home from the very minute and the setting on the terasse was just beautiful. There were some minor improvement we addressed which were taken on immediately.

The villa was a very peaceful place. The views were stunning and the surrounding area with the nature walks were a must. The house itself was a very comfortable place to be. Within driving distance was a supermarket and other amenities , within walking distance are restaurants to eat. Pisa lucca and Florence are all accessible by car. We were a family of six that enjoyed this wonderful place and would recommend it to anyone wishing to visit Tuscany

Peaceful Place

The villa was a very peaceful place. The views were stunning and the surrounding area with the nature walks were a must. The house itself was a very comfortable place to be. Words cannot describe how much we enjoyed our stay at this luxurious villa in the country side. We were so torn between wanting to explore the Tuscany area and just relaxing with a glass of wine and the incredible view on the verandah. The villa had everything we could wish for - felt like we were back home. Staying in a Tuscany villa has been a life long dream of mine and we could not have chosen a better place to make this dream come true. I was really sad to leave this amazing place.

If I could give this place 6 stars, I would! This place is truely magnificent! The property has so much to offer and you feel at home the moment you walk in the door! The interior is beautiful with so much attention to detail. Everything works as it should and the whole place is so well maintained and spotlessly clean. The garden is beautifully inviting to sit out and enjoy the tuscan sunshine! And last but not least, Sidrak and his family are so kind, welcoming and extremely accomodating & flexible. I fully recommend staying here.. you will not regret it!

Grand Villa in a picturesque setting

Brilliant service received from Monica. What a beautiful big Villa with a big kitchen with everything you need for your holiday. The bedrooms are modern and spacious. Beautiful grounds with plenty outside seating for entertaining. Overall a wonderful stay in a grand old Villa. Loved the cat, who always ran over to us to welcome us home. Fine but came up short

Kitchen should have been cleaned more thoroughly before we arrived. Mattresses in the two main bedrooms were old and sank in the middle. Upstairs bathroom oddly lacked towel hooks. I spite of all that the place still had charm.

Rustic, charming & authentic villa set in beautiful grounds

We loved the authenticity & decor of the villa. Just rustic enough but with modern touches. The villa was set on beautiful grounds with picturesque scenery. Monica, the property manager, was an excellent communicator & went over and above to assist us doing our stay. Many of the power points didn’t work & most windows downstairs were missing fly screens. It would also be useful to know before booking that the bell tower up the road , chimes every 30 minutes/24 hours per day. This took a bit of getting used to & kept us all awake at night during the first few days of our stay. Charming during the day, but annoying at night

Villa Viola June 2024

The villa is set in a peaceful location, beautiful grounds, with everything we needed to enjoy the villa to its best. The beds are super comfy, we all had great nights sleep. Monica was in touch pre arrival and kept in touch during our stay to make sure we had the best time we could. Lucca is a 7 minute drive away with great parking to explore the city. La Cecca restaurant is within easy walking distance, with an excellent choice of local foods. Walking back when it is dark you are escorted by the fireflies twinkling like fairy lights. From the terrace you over look the mountains that surround Lucca, stunning views which included watching birds of prey flying above and the call and glimpses of a Hoopoe. Highly recommend the property. The terrace is east facing which I can imagine in the height of summer is perfect, however, it would be nice to have another terrace that catches the evening sun. Bannisters on the stairs would help for people that have reduced mobility.

Lucca stay

The property was in a nice location, only a few minutes drive to Lucca, the train station and the walled city. Lots of space for our family of 4. A really nice villa. Great grounds and a nice view of the mountains. Two issues we had. When we got to the house (mid Nov. outside temp of less than 55 degrees F) the heat in the house had not been turned on in advance of our check-in. Made for a cold first day and night as the house is large and took a while for the house to warm-up. Second, the listing states "clothes dryer". We expected there to be an electric clothes dryer. There was not. There are drying racks to hang wet clothes on. Overall a very nice stay and would recommend staying there.

Overall a great experience. The management company is very responsive. It’s a tranquil environment. The town of Lucca is a short cab ride away with fantastic restaurants and shopping. We will be back for sure.

Amazing Villa in the heart of Tuscany

This is one of the best accomodation that I've booked online. Villa Viola is full of beauty in every single room and has a stunning huge green park at your complete disposal. It takes you in an another world...in which you can really disconnect and relax. The agency, the landlord and the Villa manager Mariangela were just amazing people, full of attention to our needs and kind. They gave us also little presents for our staying. Me and my boyfriend will always keep this memory of the vacation as one of the best ever done. The location also is strategic If you want to visit Tuscany cause Lucca is very closed to Pisa and all the Versilia coast and 1 hour from Florence. I really suggest you to spend your vacation at Villa Viola! We will defenitely will back. NOTHING. Just repair the piano because It has historical value and it would be great to play it for guests!
