This was a great place to stay, clean comfortable and well equipped. We arrived by bus and it was 2 minutes walk to the apartment and most importantly only a few minutes from supermarkets, restaurants and the beach. The apartment was nice and cool despite the 30 temperature outside and being at the rear of the building was nice and quiet. We would definitely return.

concerns

The property has a great location and is well organized. The owner made great recommendations for local restaurants. I was surprised that there was no AC in the bedroom and I expressed that. More importantly, the AC that was located in the living room didn't work properly. Every day, at least twice a day, and at night liquid pooled across the floor to the dining table and couch area. This wasn't something that could be ignored. In the middle of the night crossing to go to the bathroom I frequently stepped in it even if I had mopped it up before bed. I spent a considerable amount of time dealing with this situation. Turning off the AC was not an option as the temperatures were in excess of 90 every day and it wasn't an efficent AC unit. I messaged the owner about the situation and he dismissed it. In the last two days, I'm unhappy to report that I started to feel sick, lethargic, and dizzy especially after sleeping or napping. I'm a fit individual - I swim in the ocean every day in Portugal and while in Cassis as well. I did a four-hour paddle and a three-hour paddle while there. The health concern was disturbing and the owner was dismissive and did not take it seriously. I hope he does before anyone else stays there. There are a variety of well-documented illnesses and symptoms that are caused by poorly maintained AC and if the "drain pipe outside got clogged" as the owner said then it's entirely possible mold, bacteria, and the like has gathered in those pipes - certainly, the great amount of water spilling into the room was a nuisance, time-consuming for me while I was on vacation and in the middle of the night, and concerning. This situation should be resolved.

Sorry, but these comments are not justified, and very exaggerated indeed the apartment was redone with a central air conditioning well sized for the apartment. We checked the next day the good working of the air conditioning and there was indeed a small leak on the condensa (classic condensation with a little water flowing) so without danger for health, that we fixed in less than 10 minutes: we just had to tighten a "Serflex". What is very strange is to have been warned just at the end of the stay on Friday evening at 9 pm, the day before the departure? It's a pity because if we had had the information before we would have solved this problem very quickly. I am also unhappy to have found the apartment in a bad state and with the non-respect of the exit time which shifted all my organization for the following tenants, who I reassure you, are very happy with their stay, as testified by all the positive comments that we have on this apartment very well located as you mentioned at the beginning of your comments

Très bonne description de la procédure pour récupérer les clés de l’appartement et les conseils pour se garer. Logement moderne, fonctionnel, près du port, de la plage, des supérettes Super U et Spar. A proximité de la navette pour le parking des Gorgettes mais aussi du bus à destination de Marseille. Découverte des calanques faite en bateau mais aussi à pied : magnifique particulièrement celle d’En Vau. Les parkings sont saturés donc nous avons pris le partie de laisser notre voiture au parking des gorgettes en extérieur et avons tout fait à pied ou en bus. Seul point d’amélioration : disposer d’un grand étendoir fonctionnel surtout quand on vient en famille. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour à Cassis et ses environs que nous avons découvert pour la première fois. Nous conseillons la pizzeria la Girandole et le restaurant Calendal (pur délice)

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille (2 adultes et 2 enfants) dans cet appartement idéalement situé au centre de Cassis. L’emplacement est parfaitement central, ce qui nous a permis de tout faire à pied : commerces, restaurants et surtout la plage toute proche. L’appartement est bien installé, confortable et fonctionnel, avec tout le nécessaire pour un séjour agréable en famille. L’accès est facile. Ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt in Cassis

Der Aufenthalt hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Das Appartement war sehr schön. Das einzige, was fehlt, ist ein Balkon. Das wussten wir aber im Vorfeld. Da man 50 Meter vom Hafen entfernt ist, macht das aber nichts.Die Wohnung ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht und sie ist recht konfortabel.Die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern ist sehr gut gewesen und die Vermieter waren sehr freubdlich.Toll war, dass man alles fußläufig erreichen kann.Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Schöne Wohnung, gute Lage. Schlüssel der Wohnung muss außerhalb von Cassis abgeholt werden was ein Problem werden kann wenn man mit dem Zug anreißt. Dadurch muss man eine längere Taxifahrt einplanen. Wohnung war bei unserer Ankunft leider nur oberflächlich sauber. Die Lage und Ausstattung der Wohnung sind sonst ganz OK.
