A solo 1,5 km dalla base dello Stratton Resort, la Cole House è disponibile per il noleggio tutto l'anno.

Disposizione:
Al piano inferiore, c'è una camera da letto con un letto matrimoniale e un bagno diviso. C'è una toilette e un lavandino in una stanza e una nuova vasca con i piedini con doccia e lavandino in un'altra stanza. Al piano superiore, ci sono due camere da letto, una con due letti matrimoniali e l'altra con un letto matrimoniale. Al piano superiore c'è anche un bagno con doccia.

Il soggiorno rustico ha un camino in mattoni con un inserto di propano Empire 35.000 BTU e travi tagliate a mano e si affaccia sul laghetto e Stratton Mountain. C'è anche una cucina moderna e una lavanderia con lavatrice e asciugatrice. Altri servizi includono, lavastoviglie, forno a microonde, lettore DVD, TV via cavo e Internet wireless ad alta velocità. La casa è riscaldata con propano, il carburante preferito nel Vermont. C'è anche un 22 "Weber Kettle Grill per cucinare all'aperto nei mesi più caldi.

Stagno:
Lo stagno misura tre quarti di acro, ha una base di ghiaia ed è profondo nove piedi nel mezzo. In estate, è un ottimo posto per rinfrescarsi o semplicemente godersi la giornata. In inverno, è ottimo per pattinare sul ghiaccio, un'attività alternativa.

Ci sono molte cose da fare nella zona, dall'escursionismo lungo il Long Trail, alla visita di Pikes Falls, al teatro estivo, al ciclismo o alle passeggiate lungo le numerose stradine della zona. Le fiere cittadine e altri eventi locali sono un piacere partecipare.

Per coloro che vogliono andare a cavallo o fare una partita a golf nei mesi più caldi o sciare in inverno, lo Stratton Resort dista solo 1,5 km, il che significa che siete a soli sette minuti dal lodge di base . The Cole house was perfect

Everything was great and easy. Very close to Stratton mountain. We would definitely come back during ski season but it was also beautiful in summer.

Stratton Mtn retreat

Everything about the property was just what we were looking for, quiet and restful. Jeremy was a great host and he came and said hi when we arrived and was there when we left. Wish we had stayed another week. The cabin is rustic but has all the comforts of home. Only minus to the experience was for the price of the stay and availability of trash drop offs ended up taking it with us when we left.

Cozy & Quiet Getaway

This home was perfect for a relaxing and refreshing summer getaway- the place is kept in excellent shape despite its age, and despite being the beginning of August never got overbearingly hot, air circulated well throughout the house. There are enough places reasonably close by to have things to do, and the flooding VT just experienced was not an issue here. My girlfriend loved the bathtub, and my dog loved the pond out back. Jeremy was very friendly whenever we saw him as well, and always responsive. Very happy we stayed here.

Nice quiet lovely place

It was me ,my husband our adult son and our daughter and her husband and on year old daughter . The house was just as expected a little hot and only tow fans so we bought one for our room . Other than that it was great . My granddaughter and my old dog Rory loved the pond . Jeremy responded quickly to anything we asked about. I would recommend this house . Showers and water were perfect also

Beautiful Escape

It was an absolute pleasure to stay at the Cole House. Mr. Cole was extremely kind and super helpful. Would highly recommend this amazing getaway if looking for a place in beautiful Vermont.

QUAINT, CUTE AND CONVENIENT

This is a cute little place that retains a lot of charm from yesteryear without sacrificing modernity. The two heaters work great, warming the place in short order. The water pressure in the showers is fantastic! And the water from the tap tastes great. We were there in the Fall so did not swim in the pond, but did row around in the available boat. There is a wonderful trail that runs past the wonderful stream on the perimeter of the property. Located on a very quiet side lane, easy for walking. An old apple tree in the front provided many tasty apples. A very well endowed library with books that will satisfy a large range of interest. Because of the age of the structure, some ceiling heights are low--so if you are over 6' tall, be mindful of that. The location is about 2 minutes away from the Stratton Mountain village, but it is on the east side and away from the main approach road, so traffic is minimal. Jeremy was very prompt with all of his responses. We would not hesitate to go back if the opportunity arose.

Summer stay with family

The Cole house was very clean and well equipped for our stay. The host is very communicative and helpful and the house is in a great location to explore the local area with its hikes and swimming. I hadn’t realized how close the house is to the Cole Cabin (also listed)- it shares a driveway so if that is also rented out there is less privacy than otherwise.

Perfect cabin to ski in Stratton

We just stayed for a week at Jeremy’s cabin. It’s truly perfectly located to go skiing in Stratton. It is a very cozy cabin and everything works very well. 5’ drive to skiing. 25’ from Manchester which is a nice town. There is also a great little local market nearby to get all your groceries so you dont need to drive to Manchester often. Really enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back.

Great property and location

We stayed at the property for 1 week in February, and we could have not been happier. The owner is really friendly and helpful, the house was very clean, warm and furnished with everything needed to make our vacation convenient and comfortable. There was plenty of space for everyone, with a strong Wifi Signal and a modern LCD TV (we used a Chromecast and watched Netflix). It's conveniently located at a 5 mins drive from the Stratton resort, and has plenty of space around it, perfect for us with 3 kids. I would definitely recommend this property to everyone, we will likely be back next year!

Comfort and charm are found in a cabin on a beautiful VT landscape

This house, the owners and its surroundings make this a great place to relax and enjoy Vermont during the summer. Rustic charm abounds throughout the open first floor, with a library of high end literature and board games on shelves lining the perimeter of the living room. WiFi included. Comfortable bedrooms are scattered across the first and second floors with extra towels, blankets and pillows. This was a prime home base for hiking and other activities for our family, including a young toddler and our two dogs. Owner Jeremy and his wife Sheila were engaging and friendly before, during and after our stay, making sure we felt welcomed. We would like to go back to experience this home along with a toasty stove during the colder seasons.

Great for winter vacation

The house is in convenient location to Stratton Mountain ski area (5 -7 min drive) and Jamaica State Park (cross- country skiing and hiking even during winter time). The place is very nice and warm. It is a great place for winter vacation for anyone who likes to be outside. The owner of the place makes everything possible to make your vacation a hassle- free experience.

Cole House:

You cant get any closer to the slopes at Stratton - right next to the access road. 5 min ride to the ticket office. Cozy house - perfect for a family of 4-5. Pot belly heater in kitchen and inset fireplace kept us all warm and toasty when it was -10 outside! Washer and dryer was very nice to use. Quiet road - not much traffic. Clean and functional place. Jeremy met us the day we arrived and helped with suggestions, etc. We enjoyed the stay!

I grew up in the Cole Cabin and the Cole House. The Stratton ski area was started by my mother, Malvine Cole, who was often called the Mother of Stratton Mountain, and a number of other people both local and from outside the state. I learned to ski on the hillside near the houses and at Stratton.

Perché ha scelto questa struttura

The Cole House with its own private pond and a brook on the backside of the property offers an old style of vacation that is quiet, private and away from it all in the backwoods of Vermont.

During the warmer months, the house offers a relaxing, quiet comfortable vacation spot with a private swimmable pond with a brook on the back side of the property. It is a bike ride or a short drive down to Pikes Falls. Hiking Trails are close by.

A Propane grill is provided for barbecuing along with a large round outdoor table and benches for enjoying outdoor meals. Other outdoor chairs are also provided.

During the winter, the house offers easy access to the Stratton Ski Area; it takes about seven minutes to drive to the base lodge. Its closeness means that renters can come home from the skiing for lunch or run their kids up to the mountain and then return to spend a quiet day at the house or go cross country skiing or snow shoeing in the fields and woods nearby.
