Immaculate apartment above garage. Still smells new! Wake up in this bright and airy apartment, and make breakfast in the full size kitchen. Eat at the quartz island with lovely leather barstools, laminate flooring, stainless steel appliances. Or take your coffee outside and sit by the fountain as you enjoy the morning stillness. After a fun day at the beach or exploring historic Pensacola, relax on leather couches and watch TV or read a book without the annoying noises of a hotel! When it’s time to retire, crawl into this comfortable queen size bed with pillow top. Four pillows of varying degrees of firmness provided so you can find one that is “just right”! (Room darkening curtains for those who like to sleep in.) Walk in shower with handheld sprayer, and glass doors prevent that claustrophobic feeling. Perfect for parents visiting military members, or couple coming in for one of our great festivals! Sorry no animals, no smoking on property, not handicapped accessible (outside stairway). Vaping is okay outside. On street parking. Located in an eclectic and beautiful neighborhood, this is a great place to walk or bike. Five minutes to historic downtown Pensacola, twenty minutes to the beach or the Naval Air Station, fifteen minutes to airport. Beach chairs and umbrella for rent, $10/day ( versus $8/hr at the beach). Owners live in the 1907 era bungalow on property, so readily available for special requests. We built the apartment for our four children to vacation with their families, but love to have visitors. Please drop us a note telling us a little about yourselves and why you're planning to visit. Welcome to beautiful Pensacola!

About John and Maureen Langston
Avid divers and sea-shellers, we love the beach life! Pensacola is a wonderful town with lots of cultural activities downtown. Come for vacation, and return for a lifetime.
John and Maureen Langston purchased this Guest House in 2014
Why John and Maureen Langston chose Oak Point
Stay in the popular neighborhood of East Hill, an eclectic array of Victorian, Craftsman and Old stucco homes with amazing personality. Just a bike ride to parks, shops and downtown festivals! Short drive to beach and Pensacola Naval Air Station. New construction with high quality details such as handmade window sills and barn door. This apartment was a labor of love, so our grown children will have somewhere to stay when they visit. We invite you to visit us!
What makes this Guest House unique
Immaculately clean, new construction, initially listed on VRBO February 2018. Less than 2 miles from the heart of Pensacola, but in a safe beautiful neighborhood with many parks and charming Craftsman and Victorian homes. Only 6 miles to Pensacola's beautiful white sand beaches!

Beautiful carriage house; great location; owners a dream to deal with!
This apartment is absolutely stunning, from the high-end appliances to the chic rustic cabinetry and lighting. The owners really paid meticulous attention to detail in construction and style, going "above and beyond" to make our stay as comfortable as possible. A real pleasure to work with, John and Maureen took time to personally welcome us to the apartment, checked in with us throughout the stay to make sure we were enjoying ourselves, yet gave us privacy to enjoy the apartment as though we were good friends (and we met their sweet furry family members--one of which clowned around for a belly rub or two!).
The location is very close to some delicious restaurants and is a very short drive over the bridge to the beach areas, which makes it really convenient and quieter than the condominium/hotel areas of Pensacola Beach. There is a train that comes through in the area a couple of times a day and blows its whistle (it's close to the famous Graffiti Bridge), so be mindful of that, but for us that wasn't necessarily a terrible thing.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay in this gorgeous apartment and would definitely stay there again!
Thank you for the great review Amanda! We enjoyed having you, please come again 😊
Excellent stay. Fantastic owners.
Beautiful place to stay. Fantastic owners. Very friendly and cute dogs. Owners answered all of questions and helped us with recommendations of places to see and things to do and where to eat.
Perfect for a get-away
The Carriage House is a wonderful place to stay while in Pensacola. The location is great and everything is a short drive. John & Maureen are outstanding hosts, providing suggested places to go and things to see. We will definitely stay here the next time we are in the area. The neighborhood is peaceful and the patio was a great place to enjoy coffee early in the morning.
Thank you Becky, we enjoyed your company! Please do come again!
New high spec apartment
We stayed for 7 nights in this brand new apartment and wished we had stayed longer.
The area is in a lovely part of Pensacola and is very convenient for the beaches and not far from the airport. We found the apartment with all its high end modern appliances ideal for a couple and the owners Maureen and John were always there if we needed advice on the Pensacola area and even let us have use of their beach chairs and a parasol which we used every day!
So thank you Maureen and John we hope to return to Pensacola and your lovely Carriage House rental in the not to distant future.

It was lovely to have you visit us, and thank you for your kind review!
This was one of the best places we have ever stayed. The owners are super friendly and the apartment was exceptionally clean. We will definitely be back!!
Really gorgeous and roomy one bedroom apartment in a great neighbohood.
The photos of this place do not do it justice. The place is comfortable, modern, and with top of the line fixtures and appliances. The queen size bed is very comfortable and the hosts, John and Maureen, super nice and attentive. Minutes from downtown and the Bay Bridge. We would love to return!
Dear Joe and Linda, so glad you had a great time! We want all our guests to feel like they are visiting friends. Next time you visit, we will have beach chairs and an umbrella available so you don’t get burned. Hopeful to see you again, thanks for coming! Maureen and John
