Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team. Dated but worth every penny
The location is perfect, right on the beach, not too far from amenities. The home has an older decor but is incredibly charming and spacious with two master suites, a lower and upper deck, and everything you'll need for a short or long stay. I regret not booking more time there.
We had a great stay. The house easily accommodated a large group. It was clean and welcoming and the location can’t be beat. We had a ton of fun on the beach and sledding on the dunes in front of the house. We will for sure be back another time!
RENTER BEWARE!!!! To say our stay was a little disappointing would be an understatement. Our party rented this house for the beautiful view (which that did not disappoint) along with the hot tub and ping pong table. Upon our arrival we were shocked to learn that the hot tub was no longer available, as it was sitting in the garage with a bit of water in the bottom with the chlorine filter. The smell of Chlorine was so overpowering that if we wanted to play ping pong, or use the barbeque, we had to open the garage doors. Having the to open the garage doors would not have been a big deal, except that it was a very cold and rainy weekend. We were never informed that the house no longer offered the hot tub and were quite upset. Other aspects of the home were maddening as well. The deck furniture, although esthetically fitting, was quite weathered and covered in dried/crusty moss. There were parts of the deck that were broken or close to it and looked NOTHING like the photo on the listing. Photoshop works wonders. The inside of the house also very upsetting as it was dirty with dried food on the floor, a strong urine smell in the corner of the dining room, and either dried fecal matter or vomit on the upstairs toilet. There is a hefty cleaning fee for this house and does not come close to being worth it. Upon our call to VACASA we were give $50 per night for loss of the hot tub, but all the other concerns fell on deaf ears. Hopefully there will be some changes before the next guest rents it. We will NEVER stay here again.

Amazing vacation getaway
This is a truly beautiful home with amazing ocean views from every room even from relaxing in your very comfortable bed kitchen is well stocked everything about the place was perfect it would be great if they added a hot tub to the deck.
We had a good stay
The hot tub was "out of order" and we are waiting for a refund of that specific charge. We were unable to access the backup key. There were a few ants in kitchen. There was standing water in bunk bed room shower. None of these issues prevented us from having an enjoyable visit and we have rebooked for a June visit for most of our family
