About Laura Strong
I have lived in the Flathead Valley since the late 70s. I've put on hundreds, probably thousands, of miles backpacking, climbing, hiking, biking, camping, skiing and boating- when it comes to recreating- we love to go do it! Oh yes i've managed to squeeze plenty of working in there also. But any and every local will tell you- we don't live here to work- we work (as little as possible) to live in the most amazing place! I love and know this area very well- we'll help you discover the on or off-the-beaten path adventure you are dreaming of- this place is made for dreamers.
Laura Strong purchased this Cabin in 2014
Why Laura Strong chose Columbia Falls
This is a new venture for me as we head towards retirement age. After working for other companies in the hospitality industry, I thought it was time I put my own identity into sharing this wonderful valley with travelers. I have enjoyed applying my talents to redesigning this property into a welcoming, cozy camp for you. It is a work in progress, but I imagine I'll be saying that 10 years from now as well. Our home is located on the property, along with Kevin's cabinet shop, next to our 4 rental cabins, so we are available if you have questions or problems.
What makes this Cabin unique
We are conveniently located just 15 minutes from the airport, 15 min. from Whitefish, 15 min. from Glacier National Park, 30 minutes from the shores of beautiful Flathead Lake. We are just 1 mile from downtown Columbia Falls where you can dine, find groceries and all other necessities. Flathead River is a short 1/2 mile walk from your door. World class golfing is available at several courses in the valley.

A well located cabin with everything needed for a comfortable stay while visiting Glacier Natl Park
Cabin C is a compact yet spacious cabin with all the necessary amenities and perfect for two people. Laura was most helpful with suggestions of hiking routes in Glacier as well as other options in the surrounding area.
Excellent location , perfect for our trip to Glacier National Park
We loved the home. perfect for two. Cute and clean. Laura was very helpful with planning our itinerary. We highly recommend!
Laura was so helpful from start to finish. The cabin was super clean and had all the amenities that we needed. The location was perfect. We are already planning on staying here again since our first trip to Glacier and Waterton has left us captivated.
Loved the cabin! It had everything we were looking for! Plenty of kitchen tools available, and appreciated some of the included items, especially the coffee. The location is great for Glacier, less than 15 minutes from the west entrance. Would definitely stay again!
Great stay in a beautiful place!
Wonderful location, amazing host!
We loved our stay with Laura. We got to spend a month in one of the coziest cabin with modern amenities. She is an incredibly generous hostess and made every step of our journey enjoyable and easy. Highly recommend her place to anyone interested in this beautiful part of the country, especially if you love the outdoors, her tips are unparalleled!
I love living in northwest Montana where you can still find wild adventures. White water raft down the Middle Fork of the Flathead River. Fly fishing abounds in area rivers and streams. Backpack, hike, boat tour, or horseback in Glacier National Park. Visit one of our less traveled wilderness access areas- Jewel Basin, Hungry Horse reservoir, Great Bear, or Bob Marshall Wilderness.
