Great location and exceptional host. Just a quick walk to the beautiful beach. There are several beach chairs, toys, and umbrellas to borrow which was a great plus. The pool was nearby and easy to walk/bike to. We very much appreciated that our dog was welcome. We will be booking at this property again. (A bonus: our son saw a sea turtle nesting one evening - can't beat that!)

Comfortable condo with a short easy walk to the beach. Beach chairs and wagon at the condo were a big plus. Cooking pan in kitchen were unusable (scorched or flaking teflon). Luckily we brought 2 pans with us. Otherwise it was a great rental.

Such a great location!

This house is in a great location - easy 5 min walk to the beach, golf, pool, etc. And if you have tweens/teens, it's an easy bike ride to Fresh Fields too (which they loved)!

Kiawah family destination

This property is well equipped and has a nice layout, with the bedrooms in the corners surrounding the living area all on the second floor. Our family especially enjoyed the swimming access at the shaded community pool (as well as the ocean, of course) and the many games and puzzles.

Perfect Place To Relax

We throughly enjoyed our week on Kiawah Island. The home was perfect for our party. Plenty of space to spread out. Lots of amenities, including all the basics. It's becoming more difficult to find places that allow dogs and this was perfect. Short walk to beach. Close to Charleston. Loved Magnolias and Muse restaurants there. Hope to return.

Perfect Kiawah Getaway for Family and Fur Babies

This villa stands out as an exceptional choice for families seeking a pet-friendly getaway. Its thoughtful amenities, family-centric features, and prime location are blend of comfort and access to Kiawah activities. The owner thoughtfully stocks all the needed basics relieving stress of forgetting items after a long drive. There are many nearby walking and biking trails. This property sits close to the beach which was great for dog walks. It is a convenient 5-minute ride to Freshfields Village which offers groceries, a variety of great restaurants and cute retail shops. The community around the villa is friendly and welcoming. We will definitely go back and stay there for our next Kiawah trip.

Great beach & location. Really liked the tree house. A few updates to the kitchen would have been ideal. We also found it difficult to find many reasonably priced restaurants close by.

Great location!

We had everything we needed at the cottage! Beds were super comfortable and enough space for my family & pets. The location is great and close to beach access, groceries, restaurants & activities. Homeowner is also very responsive & easy to communicate with. I’d love to come back!

First time in Kiawah

Lovely spot - its really the best! right at the entrance to the Island but quiet and surprisingly private considering the homes here are so close (because we chose the best time mid October) only a few occupied homes. Just a short walk to the beach which is wide and long!. I've personally never seen such fine sand that you can tell its in your shoes??? really! amazing! We had 2 small dogs which loved to walk on the beach with a leash. The house-is a very workable layout- its close quarters, but you should be spending all your time on the back deck which has a great view of the pond and the fountain that comes on at 8. This is so close to the golf course you can sleep walk over. We cycle so we brought an e-bike and road bike each. *NEW rule NO e-bikes allowed*. Work around - took road bikes on paths - Twisty and fun (go early to avoid people) took the batteries off e-bikes and went on the beach. Its Awesome, flat and goes forever!!! we alternated for a variety. Plenty of parking at this house, I compared walking around the other houses. Enjoy Kendyl

Lovely stay

Very enjoyable visit in Kiawah. Comfortable space, spent lots of time on the porch, very nice to have beach chairs available and a pet friendly condo so our dog could meet the ocean!

Relaxing week

Best location on the island!

Adorable, comfortable home, and perfect for accommodating dogs. The enclosed deck on the upper level was a bonus! Excellent location and short walk to the beach! Will come back again!

Family Time

Our boys are getting older and we need a place to get away and relax with them. The house was exactly as described. It is in a perfect location and it has plenty of room for everyone on the inside. It was wonderful to sit on the screened porch and listen to the atmosphere around you. We even had some deer come and check us out! We will definitely stay here again.

Great house, great location!

We had a great time at this cottage in Kiawah! It was less than a 10 minute walk to the beach and the cottage is in a nice, quiet neighborhood. The property comes with a wagon to haul all your beach stuff, along with beach chairs, towels, and umbrellas. It was nice having all the stuff there. Easy to order bikes for delivery from Alligator bikes. You can ride right on the beach! Sandy gave many helpful suggestions of things to do and places to eat. Would stay again!

My father, Joe Kay, although born in Lakeland, FL, grew up in South Carolina. After highschool in Moncks Corner, he graduated from the Citadel in 1953. My husband and I were introduced to Kiawah in 1979 and encouraged Daddy to come check out the beautiful island only 21 miles from Charleston. He purchased The Treehouse in 1986 and has shared it with renters every since!

Recently updated and refreshed, the Treehouse is your home away from home. Enjoy lounging on the new deck overlooking the life in the lagoons below. Just a 2 minute walk finds you at the brand new Cougar Point clubhouse where you can enjoy a meal, watch sporting events or play a round of golf. Our guests keep telling us how much they enjoy all the extra amenities we provide so you have few extra things to bring from home. We strive to make our place your home away from home! We love dogs and want you to bring your 4 legged children with you to enjoy (please bring their beds so that they will feel at home). Dogs can run free on the beach from October - March. Other months, you can still enjoy the beaches with your dogs on leash.
