The most feminine of all the vessels is called "La Malafemmina", recently renovated, characterized by wisteria-colored walls and wrought iron fixtures. It is accessed by crossing the green courtyard from the central artery of Via Cardinale Guglielmo Sanfelice.

Directly from the courtyard, you enter the apartment composed of a large living area, this includes a beautiful kitchen with glass finishes in shades of wisteria, a large white table for ten people (because in Naples hospitality is sacred!), a sleeping corner with a comfortable sofa-bed for two people, an ultra-flat TV screen and a service bathroom.

We stayed for 2 weeks. The host was always very available, helpful and welcoming.Check in was very easy. The location is excellent. We were able to walk to many cultural sites and there are many quality restaurants in the neighborhood.The apartment is very comfortable and spacious with an enclosed entry garden. I would stay there again when visiting Napoli!

Great Apartment!

The apartment was way larger than we expected. It had everything we needed for our 3 night stay. We were given restaurant recommendations and the two that we were lucky to get in were wonderful. If we come back to Naples we will definitely try to stay here.

Absolutely Amazing Property and Location!

Naples was the last stop of our 17-day vacation with our best friends, and this property was by far the #1 best of all of our stays. The location was right in the center of town and an easy walk to everything.Anna was a very sweet and accommodating host, and her property showed how much it meant to her that her guests were well taken care of. Every room was carefully thought out and there were no essentials that had been left out.If you are going to Naples and want to be in the heart of where everything is, this is the property!

Charming apartment in Naples

Overall we had a lovely stay. Some minor issues in figuring out the Italian style washer and dryer and running out of toilet paper on our last day. But it's a nice comfortable and clean apartment in a great location. Very central to everything. One night there was very loud music coming from next door, but hopefully the building manager has addressed that.. We loved our time in Naples and I wouldn't hesitate to return here if we visit again.

Spacious apartment in a great location!

Malafemmina is an incredibly spacious apartment conveniently located near the historic center and the harbor. We were very comfortable in the cheerfully designed, huge rooms. Communication by the management was excellent, friendly and very helpful. The living area is on the street level and opens up to a lovely patio filled with lush greenery/potted plants. But there is no natural light that enters the apartment. The bedrooms are located below ground level, with no windows. The bathrooms are definitely in need of an upgrade to match the modern design of the rest of the rooms. Because of the subterranean location of the bedrooms, the moisture problem is evident in the musty smell and water stained/bubbled walls. This was ok for a brief stay and is the only drawback of an otherwise wonderful property.

Naples little gem

We had a very comfortable stay at the property. Communication with Anna was excellent and check in easy. Any issues or questions were sorted out immediately. The property was very safe and secure and was well equipped with everything we needed. A great location as near the metro. Supermarket was just down the road.All in all we had a very lovely time.

Beautiful apartment in heart of Naples city center

We really enjoyed our two nights in this spacious and super clean apartment. Anna was in frequent communication with us and responded immediately with a solution when we couldn’t get the stove to light. The outdoor garden was a nice spot to relax and the building was very secure. Probably the coolest entry door I’ve ever seen in a VRBO. We’ll definitely stay here during our next visit to Naples. Nice location in Naples

Our initial impression was favorable: attractive, clean, well located. The description of the property should make it clear that the apartment is on three levels and that there are a total of 21 stairs between the bedrooms and the living area. The below-ground bedrooms had a slightly musty odor, which might be a problem for people with allergies. We had problems with the Wi-Fi: the Wi-Fi only worked in the main living area on the top floor and not in the bedrooms two levels below. The manager explained that this was a temporary problem out of their control, but it was a major disappointment. The privacy and the courtyard along with a beautiful atrium garden was a very nice feature. Be sure to check your entry code carefully during the check-in process; ours did not work and required assistance from the manager later that evening, who was very responsive. This necessitated our contacting VRBO‘s support number and they were very responsive and helped solve the problem rapidly. Overall, we considered it a successful rental and we were quite satisfied.

The property was well located for access to the Port and the Center, we were able to walk everywhere. The style and design were beautiful, so much space including our own bathrooms. Having a washer and dryer in the apartment was great, we used them twice. The only negative thing was we found the property to be a little musty, thankfully we could open windows and the air exchanger ran all day.

Highly Recommended

We stayed here for three nights. Anna and Marco were very personable. This apartment was beautiful and was exactly as described in the listing. It was nice and quiet and in a good location. There is a taxi stand right around the corner. The train station and the Port of Naples are easily accessible. There is nothing lacking here. We highly recommend this apartment.

Fabulous apartment

Anna was an amazing host from us first booking right up to post departure She assisted us with restaurant reservations and also taxi to airport The apartment was really spacious and spotlessly clean The neighbourhood was very safe and well located. A supermarket just a couple of doors away. The kitchen was also very well equipped . Would return on a heartbeat Thank you Anna

Good value in Napoli!

The apartment was very nice and cozy. The host was accommodating and responsive. Any time we had a question or needed assistance they were quick to respond and provide answers to our questions. The check-in process was easy and it was so nice to arrive and have a chilled bottle of wine as a hostess gift waiting for us! A nice touch that you don't see with many other rentals. The apartment was split level, with the main kitchen and living area on the street level with the bathrooms and bedrooms below street level. The bedrooms were dark at night and it was surprisingly very quiet! The apartment had amenities we needed and any extra linens and towels were quickly provided when requested. The showers are small (but we notice that is customary in Italy). While the beds were comfortable. The only issue we had was the master bed was on an iron frame and squeaked anytime you moved around in the bed. The apartment had a nice outdoor sitting area to enjoy with a glass of wine. The apartment was conveniently located, within walking distance of the train station and shopping areas. We were extremely pleased with the apartment, location, and overall host.

Check in was easy, Macro met us and ran through the property. We enjoyed the space, and the central garden was a neat addition! Anna was very responsive to messages, and was able to arrange an early morning transfer to the airport on our last day. Thanks!

Great Host

The apartment was lovely, dry clean and easy to walk right into. The staff gave excellent directions and met us within an hour of checking in. They were very accommodating and eager to help in any way, including reservations for dinner and suggestions of activities. After our unfortunate stay in Rome this was a welcomed change and much appreciated! Thank you for all you did.

We stayed at units in England, Rome , Florence and MIlan, but this unit in Napoli was the best. Beautifully decorated and well appointed. Marco was a fantastic host. He walked us through every room. Marco gave us a restaurant, Gusto Marigliano (everyone knew him there) and a gelato place Il Gelato Mennella that were both nearby and had great food and gelato. Marco also helped arrange a cab on the day we left. We loved Napoli and when I get back to Napoli, this is the place I would go. Five Star.

Great place to stay in Naples

Excellent apartment, clean, modern and very well maintained. Marco was an excellent host, very helpful and quick to respond to any questions. The private garden in the front is beautiful. Perfect place to relax in the evening with wine and carry out. A couple of suggestions for the host for improvement : The Wifi in the main bedroom was non existent even after connecting to the router at the lower level of the apartment. The mattress in the main bedroom seemed like a sofa bed mattress, very springy and not the most comfortable. Also there was no microwave in the apartment. But in spite of these issues, the apartment deserves a 5 start rating. I would definitely stay here again.

2 nights stay in Naples

We enjoyed the apartment and the location within Naples city center. The entry info was late being communicated to us because we had no wifi & couldn't reach the host. Also the wifi login wasn't in the apartment so we had to call to get the info. Overall, it was a positive experience & we loved Naples.

Splendid apartment!

This is a gem of an architect-designed apartment with a beautiful courtyard. Mere feet from the city, all the noise and traffic seem far away. The apartment is spotlessly clean, Marco the property manager is on site at the slightest call. The property owners themselves are highly attentive and responsive. Apartment is located very close to a Metro stop, a lovely grocery store, and all kinds of wonderful restaurants and cozy cafes. It made us love Napoli and look forward to visiting again.

Lavender perfection

This is the largest apartment we've rented in Europe! The furniture was all very conformable and the decor is lovely and very thoughtfully chosen. The courtyard garden entrance is a tranquil escape from the busy street outside. It's close to a bustling square and lots of stores and restaurants. The hosts Anna and Marco were very responsive and thoughtful. Guests with mobility constraints should know there are 8 steps from the bedrooms to the bathrooms and another 13 from the baths to the kitchen.
