Vidunderlig villa beliggende ved søen Úlfljótsvatn, det er et stort hus med dejlig gårdhave, boblebad og alt moderne udstyr. Beautiful home on the lake

Our stay at the Lake Palace was wonderful. The home is beautifully situated, spacious, and well equipped. The host was very accommodating and provided a crib and high chair for us to use for our little one. Soaking in the hot tub with a view of the mountains was an incredible way to unwind after a day of hiking. We highly recommend staying here!

Week with 3

3 guys for a week’s trip. The location is perfect for a variety of day trips. The place is very clean and very comfortable. The host was on the ball the entire time. Took a day to understand the radiant heating system but we figured it out. Would absolutely stay here again and recommend to others

In the Center of it All

What a beautiful property close to the Golden Circle sites and near Selfoss, which has all the accommodations for food, shopping, etc. Easy check-in, helpful host, and a really awesome house on the lake. Made our first few days of traveling a great experience with a relaxing hot tub to boot. Highly recommended.

Beautiful setting and all the amenities

Our stay in Iceland was perfect. The rental was clean and spacious. It had everything we needed and was very convenient to attractions along the Golden Circle. The view of the lake and mountains was amazing. We really enjoyed soaking in the hot tub every evening.

Wonderful property!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home was spacious, clean and comfortable, and the hot tub was a perfect end to long days exploring the gorgeous countryside! There was nothing negative about the property or the owner. We really appreciated the request to shower before and after the hot tub🙂.

Beautiful House!

We recently stayed in the Lake Palace property for 3 nights in the middle of July and toured the Golden Circle area. The house was well appointed and met all of our needs for 6 adults. The view is outstanding of the lake! The hot tub is a bonus and very relaxing after a long day of hiking and sightseeing. I would highly recommend this place to stay!

Gorgeous view, easy location

We spent a week here, meeting up with friends at another house for daily excursions. It was so hard to leave the house, though! Sitting around with that beautiful lake view was too perfect. In June, non-biting midges swarmed outside. With only one bathroom, it would be contentious if you had 2 people in every bedroom. But Selfoss was close enough for necessities, and it's a short drive to all of the Golden Circle sites.

A week of Icelandic Bliss

This property exceeded our expectations. So much space, warmth and well equipped. Separate rooms for our teenagers and downstairs or upstairs rooms for adults. The setting is mind blowing. Such beautiful views across the lake to the distant mountains. We loved the hot tub and had everything we needed to really get away from it all for a week. Also well placed for the Golden Circle. Highly recommended!

Amazing home on the lake

This was our second trip to Iceland, and we have stayed at four vacation rentals there. The Lake Palace Úlfljótsvatn was the best of the four, and it would be hard to beat this home for how comfortable and beautiful it is and its amazing view of the lake and hills, its privacy, easy access and closeness to the Golden Circle. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there--preparing and cooking most of our meals there and relaxing in the comfortable living room with the amazing views. The beds were very comfortable and the hot tub was great after a day of touring the country. The host was very helpful and easy to reach but stayed away to give us our privacy. We may someday go again to Iceland, and if we stay in this area again, we will definitely want to stay again in this beautiful home.

Iceland Paradise

The Lake Palace Úlfljótsvatn, just 20 min north of Selfoss is an amazing property, one of the nicest rentals we have ever stayed at. We were a family of four but there were also three more single beds in the loft upstairs. We loved the all wood interior, comfy beds, couches, dining room, deck, fully stocked kitchen, heated floors, a large deck facing the lake as well as a very well kept and clean Hot Spring brand hot tub. Everything was easy from start to finish, we would highly recommend it to anyone looking to get away for some peace and quite.

Wonderful Cabin

We had a amazing time at this beautiful cabin on the lake. Everything was clean and we had all that we needed for a nice stay. The view of the lake and the hot tub were really nice. The owner was great at communicating with us. The location was also great with a short drive to the Golden Circle. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful cabin in ideal location

We spent 4 days at this lovely cabin overlooking the lake. It is tranquil location within reach of many attractions. The cabin had everything we needed including a hot tub. I could have spent all day just admiring the view as the scenery changed with the changing light. We made visits to Reykjavik, Thingvellir, Geysir, Secret Lagoon, the Tomato Farm and the volcano. Agust is a great host with good communication

Lovely house - Amazing lake view

Stayed at this property in October 2019 and had a great time. House is lovely, very spacious, with a fantastic view of the lake. Great location for exploring the Golden Circle and Selfoss is also just down the road. Very easy to find the house and had great comms with the owner, Agust. All very easy. Takk fyrir!

I build this house for me and my family and it´s a vacation house but it´s like a complete house, only just built of cozy wood panels and in a vacation house style. It´s been maintained 100% and has all the modern equipment of today´s.

Standing next to the bank of Úlfljótsvatn. Unique views. Location very good for Golden Circle and all the main Icelandic viewing spots and attractions for visitors.
