Gorgeous park, in a lovely location.

The caravan/Lodge was in a great location amoung trees with a nice outdoor decking. (it's coming to the end of the season, but the decking was a bit sad with planters full of dead plant and weeds. It would have looked better with no planters at all). With the beach a 5 minute walk away it was the perfect location for us and the dog. The lodge was well equipped with kitchen utensils etc. The only thing is the carpets need a deep clean, I know it's dog friendly so you can't expect it to be spotless. It would have benefitted from having a decent vacuum cleaner as we like to make sure we keep any accommodation we stay in clean. Overall was a lovely holiday and would definitely stay again.

Great lodge in wonderful location

We had a very relaxing stay. The lodge has a massive big veranda which was great to seat and chill out on. Very spacious lodge in great park. Lots of lovely walks on door step. Will definitely be coming back. Thank you

Neglected property

The property looked like it had been abandoned for a Long time. The cleaners had also given up on it as it had also not been cleaned. Absolutely disgusting experience.

Great caravan on a lovely site

The van is spacious and clean and is tucked away under some trees overlooking a pond. The site is quiet which was very welcome after a busy days visiting different places. The beds are comfortable, the showers are great and the kitchen is well stocked to make cooking away from home simple. The decking around the van is closed off so we felt safe having our 5 year old play outside, knowing he couldn't get anywhere else. The decking is also really nice to chill out on, especially in a morning with a brew before you go about your day. We will certainly be back.

Relaxing

Lovely accommodation nice and clean everything you wanted American fridge freezer was a bonus and the veranda area extra-large with great peaceful views.

Oldies summer break

Had a good time lodge was a bit scruffy ie carpets in lounge and kitchen area for four people had to wash up after every meal as cups and plates just enough but the main problem was the leaves from the trees when eating outside 😡😡 but still had a lovely time thanks

Relaxing break

A beautiful lodge, excellent location and peaceful site. We had a couple of cleaning issues when we first arrived but these were rectified very quickly. The lodge itself was lovely, very spacious and loved the ice/cold water fridge/freezer. The balcony was huge and our cocker spaniel loved it especially watching the rabbits and squirrels running about, it was truly a lovely relaxing break. Booking and communications were excellent and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to all, we are looking to book again very shortly.

Lovely property for a family break. 5 minute walk to the beach. The lodge itself is lovely with a huge terrace wrapped around it, surrounded by trees. Would definitely return.

Fantastic getaway

We stayed in this lovely lodge with our teenage son and one year old Golden Retriever and we all absolutely loved it. The lodge itself is lovely and spotlessly clean. There is a huge American style fridge freezer with water and ice dispensers, a dishwasher and a washing machine. A lovely dining area with ample chairs, a very cozy living room area and plenty of storage space in both bedrooms. It comes with all the cooking utensils you need. The only thing I would say is there’s not a great choice of pans, just one huge pot and one very small one but being honest we didn’t cook that much so didn’t bother us at all. The WiFi is spot on but the channels on the tv are very limited, we could only get 4 channels but it again didn’t bother us as we had brought our laptop and some dvds but didn’t even end up watching any of them as we spent a large amount of time on the outside decking in the evenings. The decking is absolutely superb! I must say the pictures do not do it justice as it is absolutely massive. It runs from the french doors all the way along the side of the lodge, with several tables and chairs and soft cushions in a box for your use. After a day out I loved coming back and sitting on the decking until the sun went down. When we arrived there were a couple of mini maintenance issues but one call to the cleaning and maintenance team and they were sorted within the hour. I must say the staff are very polite, helpful and accommodating especially Mel. The lodge itself is separate from the main holiday village accessed through a private road within the holiday village and there are many trees surrounding it so there is a large gap between the nearest other lodges on the decking side and the trees provide some privacy which is really lovely. From the lodge there is direct access to the beach via a short walk (5 minutes) through a beautiful woodland area. Our dog loved the woodland area and the beach. There is plenty to do in the area as well. We went to Africa Alive (20 mins drive), Pleasurehills theme park (5 mins drive) and also spent a day in Great Yarmouth (25 mins drive). But nothing beats getting up every morning and going straight to the beach. There is also a huge Tesco and a harvester just 5 minutes drive away. Overall we loved our stay in this lodge and would recommend it to anyone looking to get away for a really relaxing break with attractions nearby as it suits everyone’s needs.

Lovely but !

It’s a great property in a lovely quiet peaceful surrounding, but we did have some issues The key safe is stiff and you can’t tell from the information that it’s just the grey part that opens not the whole unit It would have been helpful if the owner had left a manual concerning the hot water etc, how to work the tv local takeaways etc The bathroom tap on the bath for the hot water goes the opposite way to normal so we couldn’t get hot water, until we worked it out, the batteries for the remote for the fire were missing so we couldn’t turn it on, it was a bit cold in the evening and it would have been nice, the loo seat was loose and the loo flush was not working properly so lots of water waisted and the plug mechanism in the on-suite was stuck so the sink didn’t drain, the tv was unworkable we got 4 channels for the first couple of nights until we worked it out, four mugs, three were chipped It would have been nice for there to be a roll of loo paper on arrival, we still had to go shopping after arriving Only saying this so that it gets fixed for the next occupant, mostly annoyances
