Nice property. We had a great time.
The property was very well kept and our group had a good time relaxing. I would recommend it for family reunions.
Beautiful cabin, gorgeous view!
We really enjoyed our stay - the property is lovely. The cabin is huge (our group took to calling it the "cabin castle") and well-appointed. Wish we could have stayed longer. The view from the deck of the river was our favorite part; we spent most of the day out there soaking up the sun. Thanks for everything!
Great property and location
Thanks for letting us stay in your home!
The house was very spacious and pretty well equipped. The property was beautiful and we really enjoyed our stay. We had most of our family there and it was a great stay. Our only disappointment was that it was not decorated for Christmas and we were there for Christmas. But it is a great house.
Beautiful, Spacious Cabin with some drawbacks
Facilities were beautiful and there was tons of room. Each room is a suite and most have large closets. Our family of 10 adults and 15 kids fit with ease. We went in the winter so outdoor activities were not possible but the idea of kayaking and using the gorgeous double decker deck makes me want to rent in the warmer months.
- NO WIFI and barely any cell reception (great if you want a device free getaway).
- Wasps in one bathroom. I ended up killing about a dozen wasps over the course of 3 days. With little kids this was pretty concerning and luckily no one was stung.
- Cleaning service showed up early. Check out time was for 10:00 am CST, but the cleaning service showed up at 8:55 am. This made getting out the door EXTREMELY stressful. She said they had another renter later that day which I understand, but it was very inconvenient when trying to say goodbyes with a cleaning lady there who obviously wants you out the door.
Overall a fantastic place and would definitely consider going back. Especially if the cons are taken care of.
This was a fabulous house with plenty of space for our family. We love being outside and there were opportunities for fun activities close by: Eagle Scout trail hiking and Lake Cumberland.
