Small cottage with 20 m to Lake Hindsen

Fantastically small cottage on a secluded headland 20 meters from the lake. The cottage haven't got electricity, water and drain. The cottage has a living room, a bedroom and a small kitchen. Sunny location, forest and shallow water for swimming, fishing and canoeing. Here you live close to nature. Book a really alternative holiday. Away from ordinary amenities to original ways of living that can even feel adventurous today. Light and kerosene lamp replace the electric light. The food is cooked on a gas stove. Small solar-powered refrigerator is available. The water for washing and washing you can take off the clear lake. Drinking water is in the canisters. A small road framed by blueberry bushes leads to an outhouse and outhouse. In the evening, the stove flickers and gives warmth. Lake Hindsen offers perch, pike, eel and whitefish for fishing.
Fishing license costs 100 SEK per week. The property owner can help you arrange one.

There is a lot to experience in and around Värnamo.
Apladalen - nature park with museum. Here is also a little animal, nice playground, outdoor scene with performances in the summer. A restaurant / cafeteria is also available.

Vandalorum - Museum of Art and Design. Vandalorum is a living museum. Here are 10-15 unique exhibitions a year that present prominent contemporary designers and artists, both Swedish and international. There is also the restaurant Syltan.

Great Mosse National Park - offers 40 km of hiking trails. There you can enjoy the Swedish nature.

Lagan Älgsafari - located south of Värnamo. There you can see moose close up.
But who knows - it might as well come to a genuine elk at Granudden.

Småland's car-music and toy museum - An experience for young and old is the museum in Rydaholm. A fantastic museum with cars and old tractors. Also different types of musical instruments and hundreds of toys. The flea market and the opportunity to swim are also there.

Ohsabanan Museum Railroad - Take a trip on one of Sweden's narrowest railways! Ohsabanan's steam train offers a different train journey through the forest landscape.

Nydala Monastery - founded in 1143. Is one of the first Cistercian monasteries in the Nordic countries. Here you can enjoy the beautiful environment, the ruins and the historic monastery garden, built after medieval model.

Kleva Gruva - is a former copper and nickel mine in Småland, about 10 km east of Vetlanda. After visiting the impressive mine you can try washing gold, participating in a treasure hunt and testing our 7, 5 m high climbing wall. Or you visit the small museum and explore the enchanted environment. You can grill moose sausages at an open fire.
