Self Catering Cottage The Granary sleeps Two plus a cot.

A luxurious and spacious 2 storey brick built self catering cottage with upside down accommodation.

Ground Floor

On the ground floor is a flagstone entrance hall with stairs off to first floor.

A large double bedroom has oak double bed and complementing oak bedroom furniture. There is also a spacious built-in wardrobe. A picture window takes in the lovely garden aspect and uninterrupted views beyond. Also on this level is a bathroom with bath and power shower over.

Upstairs

Upstairs is a good sized open plan sitting room/diner/luxury fitted kitchen with built-in appliances including cooker, state of the art hob, fridge, separate freezer and dishwasher. Freestanding microwave and drinks chiller. All crockery and kitchen utensils etc. are included. Feature lighting adds to the ambience of the accommodation.

Windows from the front take advantage of the picturesque garden setting and church. To the rear are views over the rural countryside. A separate shower room is also on this floor thus providing his and hers bathrooms.

On both levels are a wealth of original interesting exposed timbers adding to the charm and character of this delightful self catering accommodation.

Perfect property

The hosts had gone beyond expectations with everything that they provided. The beautiful property and surroundings made for an excellent stay. We would definitely not hesitate to book another visit.

A beautiful place to stay

If you are looking for peace and serenity look no further. The property is beautifully laid out and well appointed. For us it was certainly worthy of its 5 stars. We were reluctant to leave this tranquility base.

Fantastic exceeded all expectations

Excellent property the The Granary was fully equipped with everything you could possibly need or require . We were extremely impressed with everyhing about the property from the cleanliness and furnishing and the thoughtfulness of the welcome goodies . We would definitely stay again as the surrounding countryside was beautiful just as relalaxing as we had hoped it would be .

Outstanding standards

This the best self- catering we have ever stayed in - which includes across Europe. The cottage is immaculate, has real finesse in its details & is set in grounds the NT would find hard to match. Rob is clearly genuinely very keen to make visitors' stays as positive as possible. It could not be improved upon. Thank you Rob & Tam.

Absolutely perfect

We could not fault anything at all about the Granary. The only reason I rated the online listing accuracy with 4 stars is because it just didn't do it justice. Absolutely perfect for the 2 of us, we had a wonderful week. We loved the tranquility of the location, the grounds are stunning with beautiful views from every window .Fab hosts. What a gem!

Awesome Place

This was a beautiful place, both the gardens and the actual rental. Rental was an amazing converted barn with a bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor and a lounge and bathroom upstairs with vaulted ceilings and well equiped modern kitchen. Everything about the rental was first class. Rob greeted us on arival and was always available if needed. We used the rental as a base to visit, Ludlow, Hay-on-wye, severn valley railroad, Croft Castle and Ironbridge. All were easy drives of an hour or less. We would definitely stay here again if in the Shropshire area.

Mooi en rustig verblijf

The Granary in Milson is een mooie cottage in een oude omgebouwde "barn". Het ligt in een een prachtige en enorme tuin. Je hoort enkel het natuurlijk geluid van vogels en schapen.Vanuit Milson is het prima mogelijk om Shropshire te verkennen al vraagt het telkens wel een aantal km langs (heel) smalle wegen om op een "hoofdbaan" te komen.

Fantastic property

The property was immaculate and superbly provisioned. Rob was very welcoming and the property was in a lovely rural locations and it was a joy to look out and see all the birds and animals. Unreservedly recommended.

Superb let in a wonderful location. Our only regret is that we didn't properly get to meet Rob's bengal cats - but that's cats for you!

Meet the owners

We (Rob & Tam) moved into Church House Farm in 2015, we simple fell in love with the house and the area. The cottages have been let for several years by the previous owners and we have taken over the running of the facilities. We are quite fussy individuals, and expect high standards when we have holidays so have kept that in mind and have applied this to the cottages. This has gained us 5 Star Gold Visit England award. Since becoming holiday let owners we have been overwhelmed by the lovely people we have let our properties to. We’ve really enjoy meeting and sharing our property and surroundings with other people who can appreciate it as much as we do. By day we are both working professionals, who arrive back home to our tranquillity where we find solace in the garden; Tam with the flowers and borders, and Rob with his ride on lawn mower! We have 2 boys, 2 dogs, chickens, sheep and 2 Bengal cats who love roaming the grounds and the surrounding area looking for adventure.

The Self Catering Cottages

Church House Farm awaits to welcome you. The two luxurious, light and airy self catering cottages, Oak Barn and The Granary are presented Self-catering accommodation in Shropshire to a very high standard holiday-cottages-Shropshire individually designed and furnished with care and attention to detail and enhanced by a mixture of contemporary and period presentation with no expense spared.

We have retained a wealth of exposed ceiling and wall timbers and have added English Oak floors, staircases, doors and joinery throughout certainly adding to the “wow” factor. Both self catering cottages have comfort assured by way of double glazing and oil fired central heating. The kitchens are of the latest design with all appliances built-in. WiFi internet access together with flat screen T.V.’s, D.V.D. players and music systems with iPod docks are installed.

We provide duvets, blankets, fresh bed linen, towels and bathroom toiletries, all included in the tariff.

For babies and young children, cots, highchairs and stairgates are available on request. Baby sitting can be arranged.

Outside, each cottage has a good sized courtyard sitting out area with table, chairs and barbecue for those balmy evenings listening to birds and wildlife or just to gaze at the stars. Further tranquillity can be found relaxing in the owners two acre arboretum and orchard which takes in a magnificent oak tree together with various other specimen trees and far reaching uninterrupted views over glorious countryside.

To maintain the high standard of accommodation available at the cottages there is a strict no smoking and no pets policy within the accommodation.

Excellent parking facilities are provided close to the holiday cottages for ease of access.
