The apartment is a stone throw from both the famous Angel Hotel and the beautiful Abbey Gardens. This apartment is in the perfect location to explore the town by foot and is walking distance from pubs, restaurants and cafes.

Cathedral view

This was my third stay in this delightful place in walking distance to the centre of the town and beautiful Abbey and gardens. The bed is So Comfortable and shower is fantastic. The mirror in the bathroom is too high for those of us who are vertically challenged . Overall, I would recommend the apartment to those seeking to be near the centre of Bury.

Good location except for parking. Windows could do with a clean, otherwise tidy. Lounge seating unsuitable for elderly people, who does find these low backed chairs and settees comfortable? Access stairs awkward but handy for pubs and the abbey.

Comfy, cozy and convenient

Joanna’s apartment is located in an ideal location. Picturesque and close to restaurants, shops, the market square and the Cathedral and gardens right across the street. A very comfortable open living area, well equipped kitchen and the best bed. The bathroom never seemed to warm up but the towel warmer was welcomed once out of the bath. A couple of glitches when we first arrived but Joanna was fast to remedy them. As our son and his family conveniently live a short walk from the apartment we plan to stay again on our next visit to lovely Bury St Edmunds.

The property was all that we needed as sisters . The proximity to the centre is excellent and the view of the wonderful cathedral entrance is a 2 minute walk. The bed was clean and comfortable and the shower/ bath provided copious amounts of hot water and the water pressure was So good 😊

a little hide away with a view

Access up easy staircase. Geographic position central and adjacent excellent Hotel, The Angel. For me the proximity to the Cathedral and the Abbey gardens was important. Well kept gardens and tennis courts lead to the 7 day car park. The town centre up the gradual slope to the shops and restaurant's. Further afield Anglesey Abbey well worth a visit.

Cosy flat in ideal location

My wife and I stayed in September 2020. The flat is comfortable and well-equipped. The location is ideal for the Cathedral, Abbey Gardens and town centre restaurants and shops. It is just 15 minutes' walk from the station with regular trains to Ely, Cambridge and other places of interest. We had a most enjoyable stay.

Short stay

The property was as described. It is small, but was large enough for two people. The location was perfect and this was one of the main reasons we selected it. The standard of cleanliness was excellent which, as I have cancer, was very reassuring; especially in these troubled times. There was a little confusion over the check in, which was resolved by a quick call to Joanna, who was very professional and responsive. We would recommend this apartment for couples, looking for a well located property.

Stay in the heart of Bury /St Edmunds

It's a small flat but beautifully furnished, and although we ate out each night, the kitchen was well equipped. The location is fantastic, right opposite the cathedral, only downside is parking although we always got a spot in Angel carpark. All in all it was perfect.

Fantastic place!!

Lovely clean flat, super comfy bed, all the amenities you can think of, WiFi, TV, washer, dishwasher, hairdryer, towels, shampoo etc. The flat couldn’t be in a better place, opposite the gorgeous St Edmundsbury Cathedral and next to the lovely Abbey Gardens. Quick walk right into town center less than two minutes. I don’t think I could have found a better place to stay and hope to return soon.

The bells!

I loved staying in this apartment! I grew up in Bury St. Edmunds and know it well and I was able to visit all the old haunts -and explore some new ones- with ease from this central location. I loved been opposite the cathedral and the view of the stained glass windows in the evening was spectacular. the apartment is clean, well-appointed with things like a washing machine and dishwasher making this a great place for a longer stay. the heating was fantastic in the depths of an English winter! Will definitely make this my home away from home when in Bury!

Lovely apartment

Great location within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Apartment has everything you require and very clean. It would of been nice to of had a few Christmas decorations up to reflect that it was 27th to 29th December.
