One of the world’s most famous sailing photographers is now allowing guests to stay in her amazing five room micro-gallery “THE PICTURE BOX”. Located centrally and adjacent to a small lake, the gallery is on the south side of the picturesque Old Market Square in Midhurst in the heart of the new South Downs National Park.

THE PICTURE BOX #GALLERY features Kos Evans’ best yachting and equestrian photographs displayed as large framed, signed, Limited Edition prints. In The Ocean Room and The Tack Room the pictures display marine art. The Stable Room and The Mallet Room both display her equestrian Art of Polo. In The Tack Room downstairs Samsung’s latest 4K UHD TV ‘The Frame’ displays behind the scenes pictures of Kos at work.

THE PICTURE BOX #GALLERY has 2 double bedrooms upstairs with white wooden floors, two shower rooms (one bath) and a single bed that pulls out to make a 3rd double bedroom. Downstairs The Tack Room leads into a fully fitted Kitchen/Dining Room featuring an ornate 19th Century bench from Cowdray House secured at auction by Christie’s. In addition to all the usual amenities, 79 spot lights and a Philips lighting system provides atmosphere and up to 16 million colour effects.

A private walled garden with seating/dining area and a BBQ makes a tranquil setting in which to take time out. There is private off-street parking for 3-4 medium sized cars and CCTV and a sophisticated alarm system to provide security.

Accommodation is provided on a self-catering basis but please call us if you have any problems or need help. We will provide a few essentials including tea bags, Nespresso coffee capsules, sugar and milk.
