Terrible experience

Sicily is an amazing town but the accomodation at the villa was the worst ever. Starting with the basic cleaning status of the villa, the toilet is teribble very very old . The shower is compeltely rusted.. there is no garabage bin (which is considered a basic thing). The surrounding area without a car is unsafe due to dangerous free dogs, although we were not informed about that. The tenant is not honest at all especially regarding electricity consumption. He mentioned in the website that the average electricity consumption for 2 people is 30 euros per a week (0.27 euros per kwh). And this was not true at all, Piero said I have to pay 40 Euros although I have only stayed for 3 days and did not even use hot water, washing maching or hair dryer. He let us pay 40 euros for 3 days although we just turned on the lights maybe 1 hour in total, furthermore we spent most of the time outside, we just slept there. He was like we have to pay for the pool electricity costs.. We were also asked to clean the pool although I payed 50 euros for cleaning. In addition, the villa is full of flying insects (mosquito) that pinch. After this experience I would never trust renting a private place again. There are many hotels in the area that would have been much better and cheaper. I dont recommend this villa at all.

Enjoyable stay

We enjoyed our stay in Balestrate. Piero and Natalia were lovely and could not do enough for us. If there was a problem, Piero acted immediately to fix it. Natalia even brought us an electric blanket when we were cold. (This was in January). The biggest problem while we were there was the heating. The first two weeks were very cold and the heating was not sufficient for the flat. Some things did not work properly but Piero had them fixed straight away when he could. There were lots of things to do in the local area such as the temples and beaches and local paneterria made amazing bread.

Fantastic holiday

We have had a brilliant holiday in pierros villa, he has been helpful and kind throughout. The villa is lovely and surrounding area, locals are fab too, offering you lifts home etc from their restaurants which is helpful as it is hilly back to the villa and hard to walk up in the evening We certainly would recommend this place and come again x Thank you to pierro, Claudio and Stefano for a fantastic stay x

Fint hus med fantastisk uteveranda

Stort fint hus som rymde oss 7 personer alldeles utmärkt. Utemiljön helt fantastisk med pool, bordtennisbord och ute kök. Huset ligger på promenadavstånd till Balestrates centrum och ner till havet. Sammanfattning en härlig vistelse för oss och vi kommer gärna tillbaka.

Alles andere als Luxus Villa

Sizilien haben wir genossen. Luxus Villa ist verlogen es riecht in der Wohnung ganz komisch Einrichtung ist sehr sehr alt Das Bad ist schmuddelig das Klo ekelhaft Wasserhähne sind verrostet die Dusche alles andere als toll nie wieder würde wir dort hin gehen. Die meiste Zeit könnte man nicht in Pool weil er ständig gereinigt wurde und man musste Stunden warten. Vermieter oben drüber man hat keinen Urlaub oder seine Ruhe. Ständig war was der Gärtner kommt der poolreiniger kommt Garten aufräumen müssen die Gäste machen . Es gibt auf Sizilien weit aus bessere Villen die sich Luxus nennen können.

Peaceful but in need of TLC

The villa was situated in the perfect spot for us. The outdoors is great, offering peace and tranquillity. Only one of the bedrooms had air-conditioning and the one in the living room was not fully functional. Having mosquito nets on doors and windows would have come in handy since the breeze would have compensated for the lack of air-con. Some TLC is needed inside making the place definitely more recommendable. Otherwise it was great.

Perfect stay ! I recommend !

My stay at the property was perfect ! The house is really nice. Rooms are very clean and spacious. We arrived in April so the water of the pool was still cold but the garden is lovely. The owners are available and answer quickly to all your questions. They gave us nice advice to discover Sicily. There are some restaurant around, and some grocery that are really cheap. You can also buy your food in a supermarket (15 min).

in the middle of the nature

We spent few days in relax enjoying the sound of the nature, birds, flowers, olive trees and Piero cooking class. The pool was working with warm water and the weather like summer. The house is a bit far from the center but by car is only 5 minutes and Piero is always ready to give a lift to balestrate town with his car. The house is cozy and clean , good spot for romantic vacation.

Everithing was Perfect. Hospitality Unique,

We already stayed in this villa, and we come back another time with a different family. Everithing was percet as usual. Private Pool open also in the winter. Nice Garden.. Hospitality of Natalia and Piero Super. They always check that all is ok, and let us find some delicious food in the House. We will come back for sure again. Eugenio.

one of the best place that i have been in MY life

It was one of the best place that i have been in MY life. confortable and very cosy. walking distance from Restaurant, Bar Supermarket. Around 1.3 km. Sandy Beach is very Close. The hospitality of the Owner is very Nice. Pool is totaly Private. Also GArden, We plan to comeback next year

Not a privat Villa !

There were some issues to discuss.First of all, the owner lives upstairs,(so it's not totally private),and there is only one bathroom.There are some repairs needed to the surroundings and garden furniture.The bedrooms are very dark and there no insect screens. Nathalia and Pierro are very friendly people and solved some problems. We had a nice holliday and enjoyed the baches of Balastrade and the historic seens of Palermo.

Near the paradise

The location of the house is very good, the owner is a very typical sicilian young man, smart and warm. The house offer all you can desire when you are at the seaside, including style, silence and privacy. I reccomend this solution to whom are looking for a unique relax and beauty.

Wonderfull Villa

private Pool , relax, beach. What else?

The VIlla has own private pool, and it is walking distance from Beach, Restaurant, Shop, Supermarket. it consist of 2/3 bedrooms (it is actually 2 bedroom+ big iving room, with separate Kitchen), also kitchen and shower outside, terrace,wifi internet. Parking area. Fantastic.

Amazing Villa with private pool next to beach

This Villa of Natalia and PIero is lovely: Modern Style, 2/3 bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen outside and inside, BBQ, Pizza Owen, Big Private Pool, Big Garden. The Main Point? Wonderfull People.

We spent 2 weeks using homeaway web site, and we stay in 2 houses with Natalia and Piero. One week in Palermo Area ( 419234 )and another week in TRapani Area (in the villa with pool) The villa was Amazing. Very confortable and clean. Natalia and Piero are very friendly and Nice people, Perfect Host. We really reccomend Both Property and Natalia and Piero Company.

Sicily is Beautiful, everithing was so perfect

on June , my famility and I, decided to spent 2 weeks in Sicily. We found this lovely villa and booked with Natalia and PIero. Both are fluent in English, German, Russian and France. Italian off course- They are very welcome and friendly people. We spent the best time of ever. Thank you

Belle maison

La maison est plus petite que sur les photos et moins ordonnées. L endroit est chouette et la piscine très spacieuse. Un petit moins au niveau de l entretien de l extérieur comme de la maison!
