Twigs is a beautiful country retreat near Lechlade which sleeps two guests, in one bedroom, with a stylish bathroom. This cosy ground floor home away from home has an exposed stone fireplace with a wood burner, a well-equipped kitchen and a stunning garden which is shared with the owners. Tucked away in the picturesque village of Langford, close to the market towns of Burford and Lechlade-on-Thames, Twigs is the perfect base from which to explore the breathtaking scenery and charming towns of the Cotswolds.

Accommodation
This one bedroom holiday cottage in Langford is perfect for a romantic break in the Oxfordshire countryside. This single storey accommodation is laid out as follows:

Sitting room
French doors to the garden, exposed stone fireplace with wood burner, two-seater sofa, armchair, chaise longue and Smart TV

Kitchen/dining room
American-style fridge/freezer, electric oven, electric hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, Nespresso coffee machine (with some pods provided), kettle and table with seating for four

Master bedroom (Sleeps 2)
Super king size bed, two built-in wardrobes, chest of drawers and Smart TV

Family bathroom
Walk-in shower, freestanding bath with handheld shower attachment, loo and basin

Utility cupboard
Ironing board, iron, vacuum and clothes drying rack

Outside
Beautifully maintained enclosed garden with lawn and patio areas, garden bench, outdoor table with seating for two, parasol and charcoal BBQ
This outside space is shared with the owners who live next door

The maximum occupancy for this property is 2 guests. Infants do not count towards the occupancy figure, however, due to space restrictions the occupancy can only be exceeded by 1 additional infant (aged 2 or under)
Bed linen and towels are provided
Off street parking is available for 2 cars on the shared gravel driveway
1 cot and 1 highchair are available on request (please bring your own linen for the cot, as this is not provided)

Highly recommended for a short stay in the cotswolds

We stayed at this property over Christmas and thoroughly enjoyed it, it was warm and welcoming on our arrival with treats and even a Christmas stocking hung on the fireplace, The property was really well equipped and incredibly comfortable and the log fire was a real highlight in the winter evenings. We enjoyed an evening in the village pub. The host was very friendly and was available when needed Would highly recommend

Fabulous Cotswolds home from home

We had a wonderful long weekend at Twigs, this is our second stay and I’m sure we will be back again. The property is a real home from home with a well equipped kitchen and lovely treats provided on arrival. The views from the property are spectacular and the garden is a delight. We enjoyed local walks, a day at RIAT and drinks at the local pub. Coral is a fantastic host, thank you for a fabulous stay.

Home away from home

Twigs has it all! It is a quiet, secluded spot with everything you need for a perfect getaway. The kitchen and bathroom facilities are great and much thought has been given to provide an unexpected variety of snacks and drinks. Coming home to Twigs after a day of exploring the Cotswolds was always a pleasure.

Our stay at Twigs was excellent

Coral and John were welcoming hosts and the cottage was in a great location for exploring the Cotswolds. The standard of the cottage was excellent with lots of nice touches, we would recommend it and would certainly book again when visiting that area.

Perfect in every way

The cottage was beautifully clean and so comfortable. The location was great! We were close to all the things we wanted to see. The hosts were so kind and left us some welcome treats and we really had a wonderful time. I would highly recommend staying here! The village is beautiful too.

A beautiful base for exploring the local area

Twigs is a very clean and comfortably property with many thoughtful touches by the owner to make guests feel very welcome and settled. Set on the outskirts of a peaceful village it was a pleasant stroll to the local pub with its great dining, and close to various places of interest so good for explorers! Coming back to a roaring fire in the evening and waking to peaceful fields in the morning were just what we needed on our mini-break.

Superb Self Catering

Twigs is possibly the best self catering accommodation we have stayed in. It was immaculate throughout, and had everything we needed. Very quiet location and lovely village pub. Excellent!

Lovely little getaway, with wonderful little surprises throughout the place. A superb base-camp for day trips all over Oxfordshire and the Cotswolds. Short walk to excellent local pub, and short drive to several fantastic small towns with good food and shops. The supply of firewood was plentiful, perfect for a relaxed stormy day in front of the woodstove. Overall, a wonderful experience for a relaxing holiday.

Twigs cottage at Hanover House, Langford

Very nice quiet property in a small village away from the bustle of a larger town. Coral, the owner, was available next door if needed, but stayed to herself, even when I was knocking about her garden. I enjoyed watching the military cargo planes taking off from RAF Brize Norton several miles awayBe Norton

fantastic & a much better way of having a short break than staying in a hotel etc.

absolutely brilliant cottage with very friendly & welcoming hosts that ensured our (far too brief) stay went so smoothly. nothing was too much trouble, everything has been planned out to perfection, with high quality goods everywhere & there is even the lovely patio & garden to relax in & enjoy after returning from a days sightseeing. we would have no hesitation in staying again but would certainly make sure it was for longer than 4 nights next time as we just didn't want to leave!

Fabulous in every way

I was looking for somewhere peaceful but not remote and Twigs fitted the bill perfectly. The annexe was very clean and spacious and wonderfully well equipped. The owners are right next door and on hand if needed but not at all intrusive. Easy to find (thanks to the extra signs put out!) and park. I'll definitely be returning.

Perfect stay

Coral is an amazing host. The cottage was so pretty and had everything we needed. Kitchen had everything we needed. Bathroom was very modern and spacious . Sitting room was bright and cheerful with a gorgeous, well maintained garden. We didnt need the fire but would have loved to sit around it and enjoy the ambiance. There is a pub a very short walk from the property which had really good food. So nice being away from the hustle and bustle of the other villages but close enough to go out exploring during the day and know we were coming back to Twiggs.
