Beautiful Villa

This is a beautiful traditional Mallorcan villa. A very warm greeting from owner Toni with wine, water and cake. The outside area with the pool and BBQ is absolutely perfect.

2 week fantastic family holiday

We stayed for 2 weeks in August and had a wonderful time. We have 4 children and the pool is perfect area to relax with young children. The beach is a 5 minute walk and it's beautiful. Perfect villa to relax and enjoy a family holiday.

We loved it here! The pool and outside area are fantastic. We lived outside and didn’t even use the upstairs area. The location is great with lots of restaurants close by and a shop/bakery. You can walk to the beach and the marina easily and there’s lots of places close by to drive to. We loved the market at Santanyí and the caves at Porto Cristo. Communication with our host was very easy and a special thank you to Petra, our host’s sister, for helping out. The only addition that could have improved our stay was air con in the bedrooms as it was very hot while we were there but I would still give it 5 stars.

Brilliant villa, highly recommended

We had a great week in the villa. The swimming pool was lovely and kept our kids entertained for hours. It was nice to be able to cook and eat in the outdoor kitchen and, as many have already said, we only used the actual house for sleeping. The host was lovely too. .

Had a beautiful week in Tony and Cati’s house

The surroundings of this house was perfect for a Big family. We hardly stayed inside and mostly enjoyed life outside by the pool area. The area was green and cozy and we enjoyed the privacy. The setting in portocolom is beautiful and Tony and Cati’s hospitality made it an even better experience.

A True Gem!

There’s not enough good things to say about this charming Chalet in Portocolom. If you’re lucky enough to stay here you will not be disappointed. The property is absolutely stunning and the amenities are unreal. We spent all of our time in the outdoor cook house and by the pool. The town is absolutely charming as well. With the local coffee shop and market 1 block away we made friends quickly as one of the daily staples. Also Bella Mia Gelato nightly is a MUST! Portocolom was a perfect town for us to have as a home base and to visit other areas but then come home to a slower more peaceful pace. We couldn’t have had a better, easier, or friendlier welcome with Tony. Thanks again!

Great pool area in a very good location

We were very comfortable in this house. The pool area and ping pong were fantastic and we spent most of our time there. The main house is a bit tired but nothing major to complain about. Cati, Toni and their mom were really nice and helped through our stay with any questions we had. The house is well situated in Port Colom 5 minutes from the beach and 15 min. walking distance to the town center. Port Colom is great since there are less tourists than other areas and you get a feel for the local life in this beautiful island.

Bathrooms are not en suite. House is very old fashioned. Air con for bedrooms not efficient. The pool and outside area is superb. Outside kitchen and dining space. Lovely large and well maintained pool. Great location close to town and the beach.

Hitting the sweet spot

For us, this was a perfect location and a gorgeous villa. Walking distance from all the facilities you need (local shops, large supermarket, restaurants, taxi rank) and the beach, whilst still being pretty private. The hosts were lovely, even buying us a cake and a bottle of fizz. We made the mistake of getting concerned about the power bill (which is charged in addition to the rental cost) and so we didn't make much use of the air con. In retrospect this was a mistake on our part, as the power turns out to be pretty cheap, and we wished we'd had it on at night. Great time had by all, and we'd definitely go back.

This was absolutely perfect. Plenty of space for the five of us and the vila had everything we needed. Loved the outdoor kitchen and we ended up using this the majority of the time. The owners were lovely and really helpful. The villa is perfectly placed with the beach and restaurants just a 5 minute walk (some even closer)and Portocolom a very pleasent 15-20min walk. There are two nice smaller beaches around the opposite side to the bay of Portocolom which you might want a car to get to but they are worth a visit and are quieter than Cala Marçal. That being said, Cala Marçal never felt touristy and seemed to be a good mix of nationalities including Spanish and locals. Will definitely be returning.

A real gem!

Looking for a place with an pool area so nice that you don't want to explore the rest of the town? It's even better than in the photos. Here you find a spacious area with sunbeds, choise of sun or shadow, a sitting area and a complete kitchen, with BBQ, dishwasher, fridge/freezer. We spent the entire days here, sun or rain (late September). The roof top balcony is perfect for a morning coffee. The rest of the house is really nice and spacious too, pretty new bathrooms, but we did not spend much time indoors as the pool area was so lovely. The house is in a nice and quiet villa area, still many neighbourhood restaurants within 5 min walk. Many good restaurants in the harbour area, also within walking distance. A convenience store just round the corner with fresh bread every morning. Easy to find parking in the street. The beach Marcal beach is just 10 min walk. We would love to come back to Portocolom, and will definitely stay in this house again.

Beautiful villa

We stayed in this property as two couples with young babies. The villa is beautiful and the outside space is the highlight. The owners communication was fantastic, they sent me all the information I needed about facilities for the babies and even purchased two high chairs for our stay. They met us at the property and took my husband to the supermarket and waited whilst he got some supplies, lovely couple. The pool area is fantastic and this is where we spent all our time, we literally only used the villa for sleeping. There is a full kitchen etc outside which is ideal. Location is great - don’t need a car to explore the local area. Shops and cafes 2 minutes walk away and a lovely beach 5 minutes walk. For young children a couple of things to note - the pool (although amazing) goes very deep immediately after the steps so there is not much room for young children to stand. Also the air con is in the corridor, not in individual bedrooms so we did find the rooms got hot at night and we had to leave the doors open. However we couldn’t fault our stay and had a wonderful time!

Great stay!!

The private outdoor area was amazing. We had only great weather therefore we spend all our time at the house outside. Everything you needed was taken care for. In the outside area there was a refridgerator, dishwasher, watercooker, coffee unit, cutlery, toilet, outside shower, bbq, heating plate, enough chairs, sunbeds, rocking chairs, ping pong table. It was all there! Therefore we did not make use of the inside kitchen, living room or the balconies. Because there was no need. The swimming pool was super. It is very deep. Everything was very clean when we arrived. Kati and Antonio were waiting for us when we arrived and showed us the house. Very nice people! Upon arrival they already put some food, water and bubbles for us to take in the refridgerator because we arrived very late around 12 in the evening. There is a small supermarket just 100 m from out house where you can buy fresh bread every morning. The house is located from walking distance from a lovely beach en nice restaurants. It was a great stay I would recommend it to everyone.

Sehr schönes Stadthaus mit großem Pool

Sehr herzlicher Empfang durch den Besitzer Toni. Ein sehr gepflegtes Stadthaus, das Higllight ist eindeutig der große sehr gepflegte schöne Pool von 10 x 5 m. Eine breite Treppe führt hinein, am Ende der Treppe beginnt der Pool mit 120 cm Tiefe und fällt dann rasch bis ca 220 cm ab. Sehr schön zum schwimmen und tauchen, was unsere Kinder und wir sehr genossen haben. Aber kleine Kinder oder Nichtschwimmer sollten nicht ohne Aufsicht bleiben. Direkt am Pool liegt die Terrasse mit Sommerküche, die wir ausschließlich genutzt haben (die Küche im Haus im ersten Stock haben wir gar nicht genutzt). Ein schöner Strand und Restaurants sind in wenigen Gehminuten erreichbar, genauso wie der Hafen mit ebenfalls vielen Cafés und Restaurants.Ein sehr schönes, optimal gelegenes Stadthaus mit sehr tollem großen Pool!

Toller Aufenthalt

Wir hatten 1 tolle Woche in dem Haus. Sowohl Check in als auch Check Out verliefen reibungslos und entspannt. Die Gastgeber sind wirklich sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Das Haus im Mallorquinischen Stilist sehr sauber und geräumig. Das Grundstück ist riesig. Die Küche und das Wohnzimmer im Haus haben wir eigentlich nicht genutzt da wir uns fast ausschließlich draußen am Pool un der Outdoor Küche aufgehalten haben. Kurz gesagt. Wir waren rundum zufrieden und kommen hoffentlich wieder.

Tolle Woche

Alles war gut organisiert, sehr sauber und zweckmäßig. Die Lage ist perfekt. Strand und Bars fussläufig. Küche im ersten Stock wurde von uns nicht benutzt. Alles spielt sich am Poolbereich ab. Sehr kinderfreundlich.

Super Zeit

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit und alles hat gepasst! Außenküche - Top, Pool und alles draußen - top! Begrüßungsgetränke und Kuchen bekommen - Top! Das einzige, was nicht so toll war, dass keine Gewürze (z.B. Salz, Pfeffer usw.) und Öl usw. nicht da waren - bei nur ein paar Tagen Aufenthalt leider nicht so praktisch (wobei sehr viele und gute Restaurante in umittelbarer Umgebung sind).
